1 Apo Bilidadi wa ku Suki anayankha kuti,

2 “Ulamuliro ndi kuopsa ndi za Mulungu, Iye amakhazikitsa bata mu ufumu wake kumwambako.

“Dominion and awe belong to God. He brings peace to his heavens.

3 Kodi magulu ake ankhondo nʼkuwerengeka? Kodi kuwala kwake sikuwalira ndani?

Who can count his armies? Is there anywhere his light doesn't shine?

4 Kodi munthu angakhale bwanji wolungama pamaso pa Mulungu? Kodi munthu wobadwa mwa mayi angakhale wangwiro?

How can a human being be right before God? Can anyone born of woman be pure?

5 Ngati mwezi sutha kuwala kwenikweni, ndipo nyenyezi sizitha kuwala pamaso pake,

If in God's eyes even the moon does not shine brightly, and the stars are not pure,

6 nanji tsono munthu amene ali ngati mphutsi, mwana wa munthu amene ali ngati nyongolotsi!”
