Yeremiya 25
1 Yehova anayankhula ndi Yeremiya za anthu onse a ku Yuda mʼchaka chachinayi cha ufumu wa Yehoyakimu mwana wa Yosiya mfumu ya ku Yuda, chimene chinali chaka choyamba cha ufumu wa Nebukadinezara mfumu ya ku Babuloni.

2 Choncho mneneri Yeremiya anawuza anthu onse a ku Yuda pamodzi ndi onse amene amakhala mu Yerusalemu kuti:

3 Kwa zaka 23, kuyambira chaka cha 13 cha ufumu wa Yosiya mwana wa Amoni mfumu ya ku Yuda mpaka lero lino, Yehova wakhala akundipatsa mauthenga ake ndipo ine ndakhala ndikuyankhula ndi inu kawirikawiri, koma inu simunamvere.

Ndidzawawononga kwathunthu ndi kuwasandutsa chinthu chochititsa mantha ndi chonyozeka, mpaka muyaya.
look! I to send: depart and to take: bring [obj] all family north utterance LORD and to(wards) Nebuchadnezzar king Babylon servant/slave my and to come (in): bring them upon [the] land: country/planet [the] this and upon to dwell her and upon all [the] nation [the] these around and to devote/destroy them and to set: make them to/for horror: appalled and to/for hissing and to/for desolation forever: enduring
10 Ndidzathetsa mfuwu wachimwemwe ndi wachisangalalo, mawu a mkwati ndi mkwatibwi, phokoso la mphero ndi kuwala kwa nyale.
and to perish from them voice rejoicing and voice joy voice son-in-law and voice daughter-in-law: bride voice: sound millstone and light lamp
11 Dziko lonse lidzakhala bwinja ndi chipululu, ndipo mitundu ina idzatumikira mfumu ya ku Babuloni kwa 70.

12 “Koma zaka 70 zikadzatha, ndidzalanga mfumu ya ku Babuloni pamodzi ndi anthu ake, chifukwa cha zolakwa zawo,” akutero Yehova, “ndipo dziko lawo lidzakhala chipululu mpaka muyaya.

17 Choncho ine ndinatenga chikhocho mʼdzanja la Yehova ndipo ndinamwetsa mitundu yonse ya anthu kumene Iye ananditumako:

18 Anandituma ku Yerusalemu ndi ku mizinda ya Yuda, kwa mafumu ake ndi nduna zake kuti ndikawasandutse ngati bwinja ndi chinthu chochititsa mantha ndi chonyozeka ndiponso chotembereredwa, monga mmene alili lero lino.

21 Edomu, Mowabu ndi Amoni.

22 Ananditumanso kwa mafumu onse a ku Turo ndi ku Sidoni; kwa mafumu a kutsidya la nyanja;

23 ku Dedani, ku Tema, ku Buzi ndi kwa onse ometa chamʼmbali.

24 Ananditumanso kwa mafumu onse a ku Arabiya ndi mafumu onse a anthu achilendo amene amakhala mʼchipululu.
and [obj] all king Arabia and [obj] all king [the] Arabia [the] to dwell in/on/with wilderness
25 Anandituma kwa mafumu onse a ku Zimuri, Elamu ndi Mediya;
and [obj] all king Zimri and [obj] all king Elam and [obj] all king Media
26 ndiponso kwa mafumu onse a kumpoto, akufupi ndi kutali omwe, mafumu onse a dziko lapansi. Ndipo potsiriza pake, idzamwenso ndi mfumu Sesaki.

27 “Ndipo uwawuze kuti, ‘Yehova Wamphamvuzonse, Mulungu wa Israeli akuti: Imwani, ledzerani ndipo musanze, mugwe osadzukanso chifukwa cha nkhondo imene ndikutumiza pakati panu.’

30 “Tsopano iwe nenera mawu owatsutsa ndipo uwawuze kuti, “‘Yehova adzabangula kumwamba; mawu ake adzamveka ngati bingu kuchokera ku malo ake opatulika. Adzabangula mwamphamvu kukalipira dziko lake. Iye adzafuwula ngati anthu oponda mphesa, kukalipira onse amene akukhala pa dziko lapansi.

34 Khetsani misozi ndi kufuwula mwamphamvu, abusa inu; gubudukani pa fumbi, inu atsogoleri a nkhosa. Pakuti nthawi yanu yophedwa yafika; mudzagwa ndi kuphwanyika ngati mbiya yabwino kwambiri.

35 Abusa adzasowa kothawira, atsogoleri a nkhosa adzasowa malo opulumukira.
and to perish refuge from [the] to pasture and survivor from great [the] flock
36 Imvani kulira kwa abusa, atsogoleri a nkhosa akulira, chifukwa Yehova akuwononga msipu wawo.
voice cry [the] to pasture and wailing great [the] flock for to ruin LORD [obj] pasturing their
37 Makola awo a nkhosa amene anali pamtendere adzasanduka bwinja chifukwa cha mkwiyo woopsa wa Yehova.
and to silence: destroyed habitation [the] peace from face: because burning anger face: anger LORD
38 Ngati mkango, Yehova wasiya phanga lake, pakuti dziko lawo lasanduka chipululu chifukwa cha nkhondo ya owazunza ndiponso chifukwa cha mkwiyo woopsa wa Yehova.
