< Yesaya 4 >
1 Tsiku limenelo akazi asanu ndi awiri adzagwira mwamuna mmodzi, nʼkunena kuti, “Ife tizidya chakudya chathuchathu, ndi kuvala zovala zathu; inu mungotilola kuti tidziyitanidwa ndi dzina lanu. Tichotseni manyazi aumbeta!”
And seven women shall take hold of one man on that day, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, take but away our reproach.
2 Tsiku limenelo Nthambi ya Yehova idzakhala yokongola ndi yaulemerero, ndipo chipatso cha mʼdziko chidzakhala chonyaditsa ndi chopereka ulemerero kwa onse opulumuka mu Israeli.
On that day shall the sprout of the Lord be for ornament and for honor, and the fruit of the land for excellence and for glory for the escaped of Israel.
3 Iwo amene adzatsale mu Ziyoni, amene adzatsalire mu Yerusalemu, adzatchedwa oyera, onse amene mayina awo alembedwa pakati pa anthu amoyo okhala mu Yerusalemu.
And it shall come to pass, that whoever is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, every one that is written down unto life in Jerusalem:
4 Ambuye adzasambitsa akazi a Ziyoni ndi kuchotsa zonyansa zawo. Adzatsuka magazi amene anakhetsedwa mu Yerusalemu ndi mzimu wachiweruzo ndiponso mzimu wamoto.
When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have scoured away the blood-guiltiness of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of destruction.
5 Tsono Yehova adzayika mtambo wake pamwamba ponse pa phiri la Ziyoni, ndipo pa onse amene asonkhana masana padzakhala mtambo wa utsi ndipo usiku padzakhala malawi amoto. Pamwamba pa zonse padzakhala ulemerero wa Yehova.
And then will the Lord create upon every dwelling of mount Zion, and upon her places of assembly, a cloud and smoke by day, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a covering.
6 Ulemerero wake udzakhala mthunzi wothawiramo kutentha kwa masana, udzakhala malo opeweramo mphepo ndi owusiramo mvula.
And a tabernacle shall it be for a shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a refuge, and for a covert from tempest and from rain.
