< Yesaya 33 >
1 Tsoka kwa iwe, iwe wowonongawe, amene sunawonongedwepo! Tsoka kwa iwe, iwe mthirakuwiri, iwe amene sunanyengedwepo! Iwe ukadzaleka kuwononga, udzawonongedwa, ukadzasiya umʼthirakuwiri, adzakuwononga, ndipo ukadzaleka kuchita zachinyengo adzakunyenga.
Woe, spoiler! And you not spoiled, And treacherous! And they did not deal treacherously with you, When you finish, O spoiler, you are spoiled, When you finish dealing treacherously, They deal treacherously with you.
2 Inu Yehova, mutikomere mtima ife; tikulakalaka Inu. Tsiku ndi tsiku mutitchinjirize ndi mkono wanu, ndipo mutipulumutse pa nthawi ya masautso.
O YHWH, favor us, We have waited for You, Be their arm, in the mornings, Indeed, our salvation in time of adversity.
3 Mukatulutsa liwu lanu longa bingu mitundu ya anthu imathawa; pamene Inu mwadzambatuka mitundu ya anthu imabalalika.
From the voice of a multitude peoples have fled, From Your exaltation nations have been scattered.
4 Zofunkha za ku nkhondo za mitundu ina Aisraeli adzazisonkhanitsa ngati mmene limachitira dzombe. Iwo adzalumphira zofunkhazo monga mmene limachitira dzombe.
And Your spoil has been gathered, A gathering of the caterpillar, As a running to and fro of locusts He is running on it.
5 Yehova wakwezeka kwambiri pakuti amakhala pamwamba pa zonse adzadzaza Ziyoni ndi chilungamo ndi chipulumutso.
YHWH is set on high, for He is dwelling on high, He filled Zion [with] judgment and righteousness,
6 Iye adzakupatsani mtendere pa nthawi yanu, adzakupatsani chipulumutso chochuluka, nzeru zambiri ndi chidziwitso chochuluka; kuopa Yehova ngati madalitso.
And has been the steadfastness of your times, The strength of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge, Fear of YHWH—it [is] His treasure.
7 Taonani, anthu awo amphamvu akulira mofuwula mʼmisewu; akazembe okhazikitsa mtendere akulira kwambiri.
Behold, “Their Ariel,” they have cried outside, Messengers of peace weep bitterly.
8 Mʼmisewu yayikulu mulibe anthu, mʼmisewu mulibe anthu a paulendo. Mdaniyo ndi wosasunga pangano. Iye amanyoza mboni. Palibe kulemekezana.
Highways have been desolated, He who passes along the path has ceased, He has broken covenant, He has despised enemies, He has not esteemed a man.
9 Dziko likulira ndipo likunka likutha. Nkhalango ya Lebanoni ikuchita manyazi, yafota. Chigwa cha chonde cha Saroni chasanduka chachidalala. Masamba a mitengo ya ku Basani ndi Karimeli akuyoyoka.
The land has mourned, languished, Lebanon has been confounded, Sharon has been withered as a wilderness, And Bashan and Carmel are shaking.
10 Yehova akunena kuti, “Tsopano ndidzadzambatuka ndipo ndidzaonetsa mphamvu zanga, ndipo ndidzakwezedwa.
Now I arise, says YHWH, Now I am exalted, now I am lifted up.
11 Zolingalira zanu nʼzachabechabe ngati udzu wamanyowa. Mpweya wamoto udzakupserezani.
You conceive chaff, you bear stubble; Your spirit—a fire [that] devours you.
12 Anthu a mitundu ina adzatenthedwa ngati miyala ya njereza; ndi ngati minga yodulidwa.”
And peoples have been [as] burnings of lime, Thorns, as sweepings, they burn with fire.
13 Inu amene muli kutali, imvani zimene ndachita; inu amene muli pafupi, dziwani mphamvu zanga
Hear, you far off, that which I have done, And know, you near ones, My might.
14 Mu mzinda wa Ziyoni anthu ochimwa agwidwa ndi mantha; anthu osapembedza Mulungu akunjenjemera: Iwo akunena kuti, “Ndani wa ife angathe kukhala mʼmoto wonyeketsa? Ndani wa ife angathe kukhala moto wosatha?”
Sinners have been afraid in Zion, Trembling has seized the profane: Who dwells for us—consuming fire, Who dwells for us—burnings of the age?
15 Angathe kuti ndi amene amachita zolungama ndi kuyankhula zoona, amene amakana phindu lolipeza monyenga ndipo salola manja ake kulandira ziphuphu, amene amatseka makutu ake kuti angamve mawu opangana kupha anzawo ndipo amatsinzina kuti angaone zoyipa.
Whoever is walking righteously, And is speaking uprightly, Kicking against gain of oppressions, Shaking his hands from taking hold on a bribe, Stopping his ear from hearing of blood, And shutting his eyes from looking on evil,
16 Munthu wotere ndiye adzakhale pa nsanja, kothawira kwake kudzakhala mʼmalinga a mʼmapiri. Azidzalandira chakudya chake ndipo madzi sadzamusowa.
He inhabits high places, Strongholds of rock [are] his high tower, His bread has been given, his waters steadfast.
17 Nthawi imeneyo maso a ana adzaona mfumu ya maonekedwe wokongola ndi kuona dziko lotambasukira kutali.
Your eyes see a king in his beauty, They see a far-off land.
18 Mu mtima mwanu muzidzalingalira zoopsa zinachitika kale zija: “Ali kuti mkulu wa Asilikali uja? Ali kuti wokhometsa misonkho uja? Ali kuti mkulu woyangʼanira nsanja?”
Your heart meditates [on] terror, Where [is] he who is counting? Where [is] he who is weighing? Where [is] he who is counting the towers?
19 Simudzawaonanso anthu odzikuza aja, anthu aja achiyankhulo chosadziwika, chachilendo ndi chosamveka.
You do not see the strong people, A people deeper of lip than to be understood, Of a scorned tongue, there is no understanding.
20 Taonani Ziyoni, mzinda wa zikondwerero zachipembedzo chathu; maso anu adzaona Yerusalemu, mzinda wamtendere, tenti imene sidzachotsedwa, zikhomo zake sizidzazulidwa, kapena zingwe zake kuduka.
See Zion, the city of our meetings, Your eyes see Jerusalem—a quiet habitation, A tent not taken down, its pins are not removed forever, And none of its cords are broken.
21 Kumeneko Yehova adzaonetsa ulemerero wake ndipo mzindawo udzakhala kasupe wa mitsinje yayikulu. Ngalawa za zopalasa sizidzapitamo, sitima zapamadzi zikuluzikulu sizidzayendamo.
But YHWH [is] mighty for us there, A place of rivers—streams of broad sides, No ship with oars goes into it, And a mighty ship does not pass over it.
22 Pakuti Yehova ndi woweruza wathu, Yehova ndiye wotilamulira, Yehova ndiye mfumu yathu; ndipo ndiye amene adzatipulumutse.
For YHWH, ours who is judging, YHWH our lawgiver, YHWH our King—He saves us.
23 Zingwe za sitima zapamadzi za adani athu zamasuka, sizikutha kulimbitsa mlongoti wake, matanga ake sakutheka kutambasuka. Ngakhale tidzagawana zofunkha zochuluka kwambiri ndipo ngakhale olumala adzatenga zofunkhazo.
Your ropes have been left, They do not correctly strengthen their mast, They have not spread out a sail, Then a prey of much spoil has been apportioned, The lame have taken spoil.
24 Palibe ndi mmodzi yemwe wokhala mʼZiyoni adzanene kuti, “Ndikudwala” ndipo anthu onse okhala mʼmenemo machimo awo adzakhululukidwa.
Nor does an inhabitant say, “I was sick”; The people dwelling in it [are] forgiven of [their] iniquity!
