< Yesaya 28 >

1 Tsoka ufumu wonyada wa zidakwa za ku Efereimu. Tsoka kwa ulemerero wake wokongola umene ukufota ngati duwa limene lili pa mutu pa anthu oledzera a mʼchigwa chachonde.
Woe to the proud garland crown that is worn by each of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of its glorious beauty, the garland that is set on the head of the lush Valley of those who are overcome with wine!
2 Taonani, ambuye ali naye wina wamphamvu ndi nyonga. Iye adzabwera ngati mkuntho wamatalala ndi namondwe wowononga, ngati madzi amphamvu osefukira a mvula yamkuntho; ndipo adzawagwetsa pansi mwankhanza.
Behold, the Lord sends one who is mighty and strong; like a storm of hail and a destructive windstorm, like a driving rain and overflowing waters; and he will throw each garland crown down to the ground.
3 Ulamuliro wa atsogoleri oledzera a ku Efereimu adzawuthetsa.
The proud garland of the drunkards of Ephraim will be trodden underfoot.
4 Ndipo ulemerero wokongola wa mzinda umene uli ngati duwa lofota pamutu pa anthu oledzera a mʼchigwa chachonde uja, udzakhala ngati nkhuyu yoyambirira kupsa imene munthu akangoyiona amayithyola nthawi yokolola isanakwane.
The fading flower of his glorious beauty, that is on the head of the rich valley, will be as the first ripe fig before the summer, that, when someone sees it, while it is yet in his hand, he gulps it down.
5 Tsiku limenelo Yehova Wamphamvuzonse adzakhala ngati nkhata yaufumu, chipewa chokongola kwa anthu ake otsala.
In that day Yahweh of hosts will become a beautiful crown and a diadem of beauty for the remainder of his people,
6 Iye adzapereka mtima wachilungamo kwa oweruza, adzakhala chilimbikitso kwa amene amabweza adani pa zipata za mzinda.
a spirit of justice for him who sits in judgment, and strength for those who turn back their enemies at their gates.
7 Nawonso awa ali dzandidzandi chifukwa cha vinyo ndipo akusochera chifukwa cha mowa: ansembe ndi aneneri akudzandira chifukwa cha mowa ndipo akusokonezeka chifukwa cha vinyo; akusochera chifukwa cha mowa, akudzandira pamene akuona masomphenya, kupunthwa pamene akupereka chigamulo.
But even these reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink. The priest and the prophet reel with strong drink, and they are swallowed up by wine. They stagger with strong drink, staggering in vision and reeling in decision.
8 Pa matebulo onse pali masanzi okhaokha ndipo palibenso malo wopanda zonyansa.
Truly, all tables are covered with vomit, so that there is no clean place.
9 Iwo akuti, “Kodi munthu ameneyu akufuna aphunzitse ndani? Uthengawu akufuna kufotokozera yani? Ndi kwa ana amene aleka kuyamwa, kwa makanda ongowachotsa kumene ku bere?
To whom will he teach knowledge, and to whom will he explain the message? To those who are weaned from milk or to those just taken from the breasts?
10 Akuyesa kumatiphunzitsa pangʼonopangʼono lemba ndi lemba, mzere ndi mzere, phunziro ndi phunziro. Zonsezi akungoti apa pangʼono apa pangʼono.”
For it is command upon command, command upon command; rule upon rule, rule upon rule; here a little, there a little.
11 Mulungu adzayankhula kwa anthu ake kudzera mwa anthu aziyankhulo zachilendo, ziyankhulo zosamveka bwino. Mulungu adzayankhula kwa anthu awa, amene
Indeed, with mocking lips and a foreign tongue he will speak to this people.
12 anakuwuzani kuti, “Malo opumulira ndi ano, otopa apumule, malo owusira ndi ano.” Koma inu simunamvere.
In the past he said to them “This is the rest, give rest to him who is weary; and this is the refreshing,” but they would not listen.
13 Choncho Yehova adzakuphunzitsani pangʼonopangʼono lemba ndi lemba, mzere ndi mzere, phunziro ndi phunziro. Kotero mudzayenda ndi kugwa chambuyo, adzapweteka ndi kukodwa mu msampha ndipo adzakutengani ku ukapolo.
So the word of Yahweh will be to them command upon command, command upon command; rule upon rule, rule upon rule; here a little, there a little; so that they may go and fall backward, and be broken, ensnared, and captured.
14 Nʼchifukwa chake imvani mawu a Yehova, inu anthu achipongwe amene mumalamulira anthu awa mu Yerusalemu.
So listen to the word of Yahweh, you who mock, you who rule over this people who are in Jerusalem.
15 Inu mumayankhula monyada kuti, “Ife tinachita pangano ndi imfa, ife tachita mgwirizano ndi manda. Pamene mliri woopsa ukadzafika sudzatikhudza ife, chifukwa timadalira bodza ngati pothawirapo pathu ndi chinyengo ngati malo anthu obisalapo.” (Sheol h7585)
This will happen because you said, “We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we have reached an agreement. So when the overwhelming whip passes through, it will not reach us. For we have made a lie our refuge, and taken shelter in falsehood.” (Sheol h7585)
16 Tsono zimene Ambuye Yehova akunena ndi izi: “Taonani, ndikuyika mwala wovomerezeka ndi amisiri ngati maziko mu Ziyoni, mwala wapangodya, wamtengowapatali wopanga maziko amphamvu; munthu amene awukhulupirira sadzagwedezeka.
Therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “See, I will lay in Zion a foundation stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation. He who believes will not be ashamed.
17 Ntchito zolungama zidzakhala ngati chingwe choyezera maziko ake, ndipo chilungamo chidzakhala chowongolera mzere; matalala adzawononga malo anu othawirapo, amene ndi mabodza, ndipo madzi adzamiza malo anu obisalako.
I will make justice the measuring stick, and righteousness the plumbline. Hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the floodwaters will overwhelm the hiding place.
18 Pangano limene munachita ndi imfa lidzathetsedwa; mgwirizano wanu ndi manda udzachotsedwa. Pakuti mliri woopsa udzafika, ndipo udzakugonjetsani. (Sheol h7585)
Your covenant with death will be dissolved, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand. When the raging flood passes through, you will be overwhelmed by it. (Sheol h7585)
19 Ndipo ukadzangofika udzakutengani. Udzafika mmawa uliwonse, usiku ndi usana.” Anthu akadzamvetsetsa uthenga umenewu adzaopsedwa kwambiri.
Whenever it passes through, it will overwhelm you, and morning by morning it will pass through and by day and night it will come. When the message is understood, it will cause terror.
20 Mudzakhala ngati munthu wogona pa bedi lalifupi kwambiri kuti sangathe kutambalitsapo miyendo; ndiponso mudzakhala ngati munthu amene wafunda bulangeti lochepa kwambiri kuti sangathe nʼkufunda komwe.
For the bed is too short for a man to stretch out on, and the blanket too narrow for him to wrap himself in.”
21 Yehova adzamenya nkhondo monga anachitira ku phiri la Perazimu adzakalipa monga anachitira ku chigwa cha Gibiyoni; adzagwira ntchito yake yooneka ngati yachilendo, ndipo zimene ati adzachite zidzakhala ngati zodabwitsa.
Yahweh will rise up as on Mount Perazim; he will rouse himself as in the Valley of Gibeon to do his work, his strange work, and perform his strange deed.
22 Tsopano lekani kunyoza, mukapanda kutero maunyolo anu adzakuthinani kwambiri; Ambuye, Yehova Wamphamvuzonse wandiwuza kuti, “Ndagamula kuti ndidzawononga dziko lapansi.”
Now therefore do not mock, or your bonds will be tightened. I have heard from the Lord Yahweh of hosts, a decree of destruction on the earth.
23 Tcherani khutu ndipo mumve mawu anga; mvetserani ndipo mumve zimene ndikunena.
Pay attention and listen to my voice; be attentive and listen to my words.
24 Kodi mlimi wofuna kudzala mbewu amangokhalira kutipula kokhakokha? Kodi amangokhalira kugawula ndi kugalawuza kokhakokha?
Does a farmer who plows all day to sow, only plow the ground? Does he continually break up and harrow the field?
25 Pamene iye wasalaza mundawo, kodi samafesa mawere ndi chitowe? Kodi suja samadzala tirigu ndi barele mʼmizere yake, nadzala mchewere mʼphepete mwa mundawo?
When he has prepared the ground, does he not scatter caraway seed, sow the cumin, put in the wheat in rows and the barley in the right place, and the spelt at its edges?
26 Mulungu wake amamulangiza ndi kumuphunzitsa njira yabwino.
His God instructs him; he teaches him wisely.
27 Mawere sapunthira chopunthira cha galeta lopanda mikombero, kapena chitowe sapuntha popondetsapo mikombero ya galeta; mawere amapuntha ndi ndodo ndipo chitowe amapuntha ndi kamtengo.
Moreover, the caraway seed is not threshed with a sledge, nor is a cartwheel rolled over the cumin; but caraway is beaten with a stick, and cumin with a rod.
28 Tirigu ayenera kusinjidwa kuti apangire buledi, komabe munthu samangokhalira kupuntha tiriguyo osalekeza, kuopa kuti angatekedzeke. Ngakhale kuti amapuntha tiriguyo poyendetsapo mikombero ya galeta, koma akavalo ake satekedza tiriguyo.
Grain is ground for bread but not too finely, and though the wheels of his cart and his horses scatter it, his horses do not crush it.
29 Izinso zimachokera kwa Yehova Wamphamvuzonse, wa uphungu wodabwitsa ndi wa nzeru zopambana.
This too comes from Yahweh of hosts, who is wonderful in instruction and excellent in wisdom.
