1 Tsono popeza ifenso tazunguliridwa ndi gulu lalikulu la mboni, tiyeni titaye chilichonse chimene chimatitchinga, makamaka tchimo limene limatikola mosavuta, ndipo tithamange ndi khama mpikisano umene tayambawu.

2 Tiyeni tiyangʼanitsitse Yesu, amene ndi woyamba ndi wotsiriza wa chikhulupiriro chathu. Chifukwa cha chimwemwe chimene chimamudikira anapirira zowawa zapamtanda. Iye ananyoza manyazi a imfa yotere ndipo tsopano akukhala ku dzanja lamanja la mpando waufumu wa Mulungu.

5 Kodi mwayiwala mawu olimbitsa mtima aja, amene Mulungu anayankhula kwa inu ngati ana ake? Mawuwo ndi awa: “Mwana wanga, usapeputse kulanga kwa Ambuye ndipo usataye mtima pamene akukudzudzula.
And ye han foryet the coumfort that spekith to you as to sones, and seith, My sone, nyle thou dispise the teching of the Lord, nether be thou maad weri, the while thou art chastisid of hym.
6 Chifukwa Ambuye amadzudzula amene amawakonda ndipo amalanga aliyense amene amamulandira.”
For the Lord chastisith hym that he loueth; he betith euery sone that he resseyueth.
7 Pamene mukupirira masautso monga chilango, Mulungu achitira inu monga ana ake. Kodi ndi mwana wotani amene abambo ake samulanga?
Abide ye stille in chastising; God proferith hym to you as to sones. For what sone is it, whom the fadir chastisith not?
8 Ngati inu simulangidwa, komatu aliyense amalangidwa, ndiye kuti sindinu ana enieni koma amʼchigololo.
That if ye `ben out of chastising, whos parteneris ben ye alle maad, thanne ye ben auowtreris, and not sones.
9 Komanso, tonsefe tinali ndi abambo athu otibala amene amatilanga ndipo timawapatsa ulemu. Nanga kodi sitidzagonjera Atate a mizimu yathu kuti tikhale ndi moyo?
And aftirward we hadden fadris of oure fleisch, techeris, and we with reuerence dredden hem. Whethir not myche more we schulen obeische to the fadir of spiritis, and we schulen lyue?
10 Abambo athu ankatilanga kwa kanthawi kochepa monga amaonera kufunika kwake, koma Mulungu amatilanga kuti tipindule, kuti tikhale oyera mtima.

11 Palibe chilango chimene chimaoneka kuti ndi chabwino pa nthawiyo, komatu chowawa. Koma pambuyo pake, chimabweretsa chipatso chachilungamo ndi mtendere kwa iwo amene aleredwa mwa njira imeneyi.

12 Nʼchifukwa chake limbitsani manja anu otopa ndi mawondo anu ogowoka.
For whiche thing reise ye slowe hondis,
13 Muziyenda mʼnjira zowongoka, kuti iwo amene akukutsatirani ngakhale ndi olumala ndi ofowoka asapunthwe ndi kugwa koma adzilimbikitsidwa.
and knees vnboundun, and make ye riytful steppis to youre feet; that no man haltinge erre, but more be heelid.
14 Yesetsani kukhala pa mtendere ndi anthu onse ndi kukhala oyera mtima, pakuti popanda chiyero palibe ndi mmodzi yemwe adzaona Ambuye.
Sue ye pees with alle men, and holynesse, with out which no man schal se God.
15 Yangʼanitsitsani kuti wina aliyense asachiphonye chisomo cha Mulungu ndiponso kuti pasaphuke muzu wamkwiyo umene udzabweretsa mavuto ndi kudetsa ambiri.
Biholde ye, that no man faile to the grace of God, that no roote of bittirnesse buriownynge vpward lette, and manye ben defoulid bi it;
16 Yangʼanitsitsani kuti pasakhale wina wachigololo. Kapena wosapembedza ngati Esau, amene chifukwa cha chakudya cha kamodzi kokha anagulitsa ukulu wake.
that no man be letchour, ether vnhooli, as Esau, which for o mete seelde hise firste thingis.
17 Monga inu mukudziwa, pambuyo pake pamene anafuna kuti adalitsidwe anakanidwa. Sanapezenso mpata woti asinthe maganizo, ngakhale anafuna madalitsowo ndi misozi.

18 Inu simunafike ku phiri limene mungathe kulikhudza, loyaka moto wa mdima bii, la mphepo yamkuntho;
But ye han not come to the fier able to be touchid, and able to come to, and to the whirlewynd, and myst, and tempest, and soun of trumpe, and vois of wordis;
19 limene pali kulira kwa lipenga, ndiponso kumveka kwa mawu. Anthu amene amamva mawuwo anapempha kuti asawayankhulenso mawu ena.

20 Iwo anachita mantha ndi lamulo lija lakuti, “Ngakhale nyama ikangokhudza phirilo, iphedwe ndi miyala.”

21 Maonekedwenso a Mose anali woopsa kwambiri, ngakhale Mose yemwe anati, “Ine ndinachita mantha ndi kunjenjemera.”
And so dredeful it was that was seyn, that Moises seide, Y am a ferd, and ful of trembling.
22 Koma inu mwafika ku Phiri la Ziyoni, ku mzinda wa Mulungu wamoyo, Yerusalemu wakumwamba. Mwafika mu msonkhano wa angelo osangalala osawerengeka.
But ye han come nyy to the hil Sion, and to the cite of God lyuynge, the heuenli Jerusalem, and to the multitude of many thousynde aungels,
23 Mwafika mu mpingo wa ana oyamba kubadwa, amene mayina awo analembedwa kumwamba. Inu mwafika kwa Mulungu, woweruza anthu onse, ndiponso kwa mizimu ya anthu olungama ndi osandutsidwa kukhala angwiro.
and to the chirche of the firste men, whiche ben writun in heuenes, and to God, domesman of alle, and to the spirit of iust perfit men,
24 Kwa Yesu mʼkhalapakati wa pangano latsopano, ndiponso mwafika ku magazi owazidwa amene amayankhula mawu abwino kuposa magazi a Abele.
and to Jhesu, mediatour of the newe testament, and to the sprenging of blood, `betere spekinge than Abel.
25 Chenjerani kuti musakane kumvera amene akuyankhula nanu. Anthu amene anakana kumvera iye amene anawachenjeza uja pa dziko lapansi pano, sanapulumuke ku chilango ayi, nanga tsono ife tidzapulumuka bwanji ngati tikufulatira wotichenjeza wochokera kumwamba?
Se ye, that ye forsake not the spekere; for if thei that forsaken him that spak on the erthe, aschapide not, myche more we that turnen awei fro him that spekith to vs fro heuenes.

Therfor we resseyuynge the kingdom vnmouable, haue we grace, bi which serue we plesynge to God with drede and reuerence.
29 Pakuti Mulungu wathu ndi moto wonyeketsa.
For oure God is fier that wastith.
