1 Awa ndi anthu a mʼchigawo cha Yuda amene anabwerako ku ukapolo, amene Nebukadinezara mfumu ya ku Babuloni anawagwira ukapolo ndi kupita nawo ku Babuloni (iwo anabwerera ku Yerusalemu ndi ku Yuda, aliyense ku mzinda wake.
And these [are] sons of the province who are going up—of the captives of the expulsion that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed to Babylon, and they return to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his city—

All the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety-two.
59 Anthu ali mʼmunsiwa anabwera kuchokera ku mizinda ya Teli-Mela, Teli-Harisa, Kerubi, Adoni ndi Imeri, ngakhale samatha kutsimikiza kuti mafuko awo analidi Aisraeli enieni kapena ayi:
And these [are] those going up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsa, Cherub, Addan, Immer, and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel:

61 Ndi ena pakati pa ansembe anali awa: Zidzukulu za Hobiya, Hakozi, ndi Barizilai (Zidzukulu za Hobiya, zidzukulu za Hakozi ndi zidzukulu za Barizilai. Barizilai ameneyu ndi uja anakwatira mmodzi mwa ana aakazi a Barizilai Mgiliyadi ndipo ankadziwika ndi dzina la bambo wawoyo.)
And of the sons of the priests: sons of Habaiah, sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai (who took a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and is called by their name);
62 Amenewa anafufuza mayina awo mʼbuku lofotokoza mbiri ya mafuko awo, koma mayinawo sanawapezemo, choncho anawachotsa pa unsembe ngati anthu odetsedwa pa zachipembedzo.
these have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and they have not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,
63 Bwanamkubwa anawawuza anthuwo kuti asamadye nawo mpaka atapezeka wansembe wodziwa kuwombeza ndi Urimu ndi Tumimu.
and the Tirshatha says to them that they do not eat of the most holy things until the standing up of a priest with [the] Lights and with [the] Perfections.
64 Chiwerengero cha anthu onse pamodzi chinali 42,360,
All the assembly together [is] forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,
65 kuwonjezera pamenepo, panalinso antchito awo aamuna ndi aakazi okwanira 7,337. Analinso ndi amuna ndi akazi oyimba nyimbo okwanira 200.
apart from their servants and their handmaids; these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and of them [are] two hundred male and female singers.

Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty-six, their mules, two hundred forty-five,

their camels, four hundred thirty-five, donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68 Atafika ku Nyumba ya Yehova mu Yerusalemu, ena mwa atsogoleri a mabanja anapereka zopereka zaufulu zothandizira kumanganso Nyumba ya Mulungu pamalo pake pakale.
And some of the heads of the fathers in their coming to the house of YHWH that [is] in Jerusalem, have offered willingly for the house of God, to establish it on its base;
69 Anapereka kwa msungichuma wa ntchitoyo molingana ndi mmene aliyense chuma chake chinalili: golide wa makilogalamu 500, siliva makilogalamu 2,800 ndi zovala za ansembe zokwanira 100.
according to their power they have given to the treasure of the work; of gold, sixty-one thousand drams, and of silver, five thousand pounds, and of priests’ coats, one hundred.
70 Ansembe, Alevi, oyimba nyimbo, alonda ndi antchito a ku Nyumba ya Yehova pamodzi ndi Aisraeli ena onse ankakhala mʼmidzi ya makolo awo.
And the priests dwell, and the Levites, and of the people, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the Nethinim, in their cities; even all Israel in their cities.
