Ezekieli 36
1 “Iwe mwana wa munthu, yankhula kwa mapiri a Israeli ndipo unene kuti, ‘Inu mapiri a Israeli, imvani mawu a Yehova.’
Also, thou son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say: Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of Jehovah.
2 Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Mdani wanu ankanena kuti, ‘Aa! Dziko lamapiri lakalekale lija lasanduka lathu.’
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy hath said concerning you, “Aha! the everlasting heights have become our possession”;
3 Choncho nenera ndipo uwawuze kuti, ‘Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Popeza anakusakazani ndi kukuponderezani ku mbali zonse motero kuti munakhala mʼmanja mwa anthu a mitundu ina yonse ndipo anthu ankakunenani ndi kukunyozani,
therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because, yea, because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, so that ye have become a possession to the residue of the nations, and a subject for the lips of talkers, and a derision to the people;
4 choncho, inu mapiri a Israeli, imvani zimene Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuwuza mapiri ndi magomo, zigwembe ndi zigwa, mabwinja ndi mizinda yosiyidwa imene yakhala ikufunkhidwa komanso kunyozedwa ndi anthu a mitundu ina okuzungulirani.
therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah. Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, to the mountains and the hills, the valleys and the plain, to the desolate wastes and to the forsaken cities, which are become a prey and a derision to the residue of the nations which are round about, —
5 Tsono Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Mu mkwiyo wanga woopsa ndinayankhula kuyimba mlandu mitundu ina yonse ya anthu makamaka a ku Edomu. Iwowa mwa chimwemwe chodzaza tsaya ndi mwa nkhwidzi analanda dziko langa ndi kulisandutsa lawo ndi kutengeratu dziko la msipu kukhala lawo.’
therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, who have allotted my land to themselves for a possession, with joy of their whole heart, and with a despiteful mind, to cast it out for a prey.
6 Nʼchifukwa chake, lengeza ku dziko la Israeli, ndipo uwuze mapiri ndi magomo, zigwembe ndi zigwa kuti, ‘Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Ine ndikuyankhula ndi mtima wokwiya kwambiri chifukwa inu munalandira chitonzo cha anthu a mitundu ina.’
Prophesy, therefore, concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the valleys and the plains, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the reproach of the nations.
7 Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Ndikulumbira nditakweza dzanja langa kuti mitundu ya anthu idzatozedwanso.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I have lifted up my hand, that the nations that are round about you, that they shall bear their reproach.
8 “Koma Inu mapiri a Israeli mudzaphukanso nthambi ndipo mudzawabalira zipatso anthu anga a Israeli, pakuti ali pafupi kubwerera kwawo.
But ye, O mountains of Israel, shall shoot forth your branches, and bear your fruit for my people Israel; for they are near coming.
9 Taonani, Ine ndili mbali yanu ndipo ndidzakukomerani mtima. Mudzalimidwa ndi kudzalidwa.
For behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and ye shall be tilled and sown;
10 Ndidzachulukitsa chiwerengero cha anthu anu, nyumba yonse ya Israeli. Mʼmizinda mudzakhalanso anthu ndipo mabwinja adzamangidwanso.
and I will multiply men upon you, even all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built.
11 Ndidzachulukitsa chiwerengero cha amuna pamodzi ndi ziweto zomwe, ndipo adzachuluka kwambiri ndi kubereka ana ambiri. Ndidzakhazika anthu mʼdzikomo monga analili kale, ndi kukulemeretsani kuposa kale. Pamenepo inu mudzadziwa kuti Ine ndine Yehova.
I will multiply men upon you, and beasts; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited as of old, and will do better to you than in the ancient time; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
12 Ndidzachititsa anthu kuyenda pa inu, ndiye kuti inu anthu anga Aisraeli. Iwowo adzakhazikika pa inu, ndipo inu mudzakhala cholowa chawo. Simudzalandanso ana awo.
Yea, I will cause men, even my people Israel, to walk upon you, and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of children.
13 “Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Popeza anthu amanena kuti, ndiwe dziko limene limadya anthu ake ‘kulanda ana a mtundu wake,’
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because they say of you, “Thou hast devoured men, and made thy people childless!”
14 nʼchifukwa chake, simudzadyanso anthu kapena kulanda ana a mtundu wako. Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikutero.
therefore thou shalt devour men no more, and no more make thy people childless, saith the Lord Jehovah.
15 Sindidzakulolaninso kumva mnyozo wa anthu a mitundu ina, kapena kupirira kunyogodola kwawo kapenanso kupunthwitsanso anthu a mʼdziko lako. Ndikutero Ine Ambuye Yehova.”
Neither will I cause the reproach of the nations to be heard against thee any more, neither shalt thou bear the derision of the nations any more, neither shalt thou make thy nation childless any more, saith the lord Jehovah.
16 Yehova anandiyankhulanso kuti:
Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
17 “Iwe mwana wa munthu, pamene anthu a Israeli ankakhala mʼdziko lawolawo, analiyipitsa ndi makhalidwe awo ndiponso zochita zawo. Machitidwe awo pamaso panga anali onyansa pa zachipembedzo ngati msambo wa mkazi amene ali pa nthawi yake.
Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings; their way before me was as the impurity of an unclean woman.
18 Tsono ndinawalanga chifukwa cha magazi amene anakhetsa mʼdzikomo, ndiponso chifukwa anayipitsa dziko ndi mafano awo.
Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood which they had shed in the land, and because they had polluted it with their idols.
19 Ndinawamwaza pakati pa anthu a mitundu ina ndipo anabalalikira mʼmayiko onse. Ndinawalanga molingana ndi makhalidwe awo ndi zochita zawo.
And I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries; according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
20 Atafika kwa anthu a mitundu ina, kulikonse kumene anapitako, anayipitsa dzina langa loyera. Zinatero popeza anthu ponena za iwo ankanena kuti, ‘Awa ndi anthu a Yehova, komatu anachotsedwa ku dziko lake.’
And when they came to the nations whither they went, they polluted my holy name, in that it was said of them, “These are the people of Jehovah, and they are gone forth out of his land.”
21 Koma Ine ndinkadera nkhawa dzina langa loyera, limene Aisraeli analiyipitsa pakati pa anthu a mitundu ina kumene anapitako.
Therefore I will have regard to my holy name, which the house of Israel have polluted among the nations whither they are gone.
22 “Nʼchifukwa chake awuze Aisraeliwo kuti Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Ine ndidzachita zimene ndidzachitezo osati chifukwa cha inuyo Aisraelinu ayi, koma chifukwa cha dzina langa, limene mwaliyipitsa pakati pa anthu a mitundu ina kumene munapitako.
Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Not for your own sakes do I this, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have polluted among the nations whither ye are gone.
23 Ndidzaonetsa chiyero cha dzina langa lotchuka, limene layipitsidwa pakati pawo. Anthu a mitundu inayo atadzazindikira kuti ndaonetsa kudzera mwa inu kuti dzina langa ndi loyera, iwo adzadziwanso kuti Ine ndine Yehova. Ndikutero Ine Ambuye Yehova.
And I will sanctify my great name, which hath been polluted among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall be sanctified in regard to you, before their eyes, saith the Lord Jehovah.
24 “Pakuti Ine ndidzakuchotsani pakati pa anthu a mitundu ina. Ndidzakusonkhanitsani kuchoka ku mayiko onse ndi kukubwezerani ku dziko lanulanu.
For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.
25 Ndidzakuwazani madzi oyera, ndipo mudzakhala oyera mtima. Zonse zimene zimakuyipitsani zidzachoka. Ndidzakuyeretsani pochotsa mafano anu onse.
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean. From all your uncleanness and from all your idols will I cleanse you.
26 Ndidzakupatsani mtima watsopano ndi kulowetsa mzimu watsopano mwa inu. Ndidzachotsa mwa inu mtima wanu wowuma ngati mwala ndi kukupatsani mtima wofewa ngati mnofu.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take out of your body the heart of stone, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
27 Ndipo ndidzayika Mzimu wanga mwa inu ndipo ndidzakuthandizani kutsatira malangizo anga ndi kukusungitsani mosamala kwambiri malamulo anga.
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my commandments and do them.
28 Mudzakhala mʼdziko limene ndinapatsa makolo anu. Mudzakhala anthu anga, ndipo Ine ndidzakhala Mulungu wanu.
And ye shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers, and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29 Ndidzakupulumutsani ku zonse zokuyipitsani. Ndidzakuchulukitsirani tirigu ndipo sindidzakugwetseraninso njala.
And I will save you from all your uncleanness. And I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and bring no famine upon you.
30 Ndidzachulukitsa zipatso za mʼmitengo yanu ndi zokolola za mʼmunda mwanu, kotero kuti simudzanyozedwanso pakati pa anthu a mitundu ina chifukwa cha njala.
And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
31 Pamenepo mudzakumbukira makhalidwe anu oyipa ndi ntchito zanu zoyipa. Machimo anu ndi ntchito zanu zonyansa zidzakuchititsa nokha manyazi.
Then shall ye remember your evil ways, and your doings which were not good, and ye shall loathe yourselves for your iniquities, and for your abominations.
32 Tsono dziwani kuti Ine sindidzachita zimenezi chifukwa cha inuyo ayi, ndikutero Ine Ambuye Wamphamvuzonse. Ndiyetu chitani manyazi ndipo mugwetse nkhope zanu, inu Aisraeli chifukwa cha makhalidwe anu!
Not for your own sakes do I this, saith the Lord Jehovah, be it known to you. Be ye ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel!
33 “Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Pa tsiku limene ndidzayeretse machimo anu onse, ndidzayikamonso anthu mʼmizinda yanu, ndipo ndidzamanganso nyumba pa mabwinja.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day when I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities, then will I cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places to be rebuilt;
34 Dziko limene linasanduka chipululu lizidzalimidwanso. Mʼmalo moti aliyense wopitamo alione dzikolo ngati chipululu tsopano adzaliona lolimidwa.
and the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
35 Iwo adzati, ‘Dziko ili, limene linali chipululu, lasanduka munda wa Edeni. Mizinda imene inali mabwinja osiyidwa ndi owonongedwa, tsopano ndi yotetezedwa ndi yokhalamo anthu.
Then shall it be said, “This land, that was desolate, is become as the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.”
36 Ndipo anthu a mitundu ina okhala pafupi nanu amene anatsala adzadziwa kuti Ine Yehova ndine amene ndinamanganso mizinda yowonongeka ndi kudzalanso zinthu zatsopano mʼmalo mʼmene munali chipululu. Ine Yehova ndayankhula ndipo ndidzazichitadi.’
Then the nations that are left around you shall know that I, Jehovah, have built that which was ruined, and planted that which was desolate. I, Jehovah, have spoken it, and I will do it.
37 “Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Ndidzalolanso Aisraeli kuti andipemphe zoti ndiwachitire: Ndidzachulukitsa anthu awo ngati nkhosa.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Yet will I listen to the house of Israel, and do this for them. I will increase
38 Adzachulukadi ngati nkhosa zomwe ankapereka ngati nsembe ku Yerusalemu pa nthawi za chikondwerero. Choncho mizinda ya mabwinja idzadzaza ndi anthu. Zikadzatero adzadziwa kuti Ine ndine Yehova.”
them with men like a flock; as the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
