Ezekieli 32
1 Pa tsiku loyamba la mwezi wa khumi ndi chiwiri, chaka chakhumi ndi chiwiri, Yehova anandiyankhula kuti:
And it comes to pass, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first of the month, a word of YHWH has been to me, saying,
2 “Iwe mwana wa munthu imba nyimbo ya maliro a Farao mfumu ya Igupto ndipo uyiwuze kuti, “Iwe umadziyesa ngati mkango pakati pa mitundu ya anthu. Koma iwe uli ngati ngʼona mʼnyanja. Umakhuvula mʼmitsinje yako, kuvundula madzi ndi mapazi ako ndi kudetsa madzi mʼmitsinje.
“Son of man, lift up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and you have said to him: You have been like a young lion of nations, And you [are] as a dragon in the seas, And you come forth with your flowings, And trouble the waters with your feet, And you foul their flowings.
3 “Tsono Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti, “‘Pogwiritsa ntchito gulu la anthu a mitundu yambiri, ndidzakuponyera khoka langa ndi kukugwira mu ukonde wanga.
Thus said Lord YHWH: And I have spread out My net for you, With an assembly of many peoples, And they have brought you up in My net.
4 Ndidzakuponya ku mtunda ndi kukutayira pansi. Ndidzabweretsa mbalame zamumlengalenga kuti zidzatere pa iwe, ndipo zirombo zonse za dziko lapansi zidzakudya.
And I have left you in the land, I cast you out on the face of the field, And I have caused every bird of the heavens to dwell on you, And have satisfied every beast of the earth with you.
5 Ndidzayanika mnofu wako pa mapiri ndipo zigwa zidzadzaza ndi zotsalira zako.
And I have put your flesh on the mountains, And filled the valleys [with] your heap,
6 Ndidzanyowetsa dziko ndi magazi ako, mpaka kumapiri komwe, ndipo mitsinje idzadzaza ndi mnofu wako.
And watered the land with your flowing, From your blood—to the mountains, And streams are filled with you.
7 Ndikadzakuwononga, ndidzaphimba miyamba ndikudetsa nyenyezi zake. Ndidzaphimba dzuwa ndi mtambo, ndipo mwezi sudzawala.
And in quenching you I have covered the heavens, And have made their stars black, I cover the sun with a cloud, And the moon does not cause its light to shine.
8 Zowala zonse zamumlengalenga ndidzazizimitsa; ndidzachititsa mdima pa dziko lako, akutero Ambuye Yehova.
I make all luminaries of light in the heavens black over you, And I have given darkness over your land, A declaration of Lord YHWH,
9 Ndidzasautsa mitima ya anthu a mitundu yambiri pamene ndidzakupititsa ku ukapolo pakati pa mitundu ya anthu, ku mayiko amene iwe sunawadziwe.
And I have distressed the heart of many peoples, In My bringing in your destruction among nations, To lands that you have not known.
10 Ine ndidzachititsa kuti anthu a mitundu yambiri adabwe nawe, ndipo mafumu awo adzanjenjemera ndi mantha aakulu chifukwa cha iwe pamene ndidzaonetsa lupanga langa pamaso pawo. Pa nthawi ya kugwa kwako, aliyense wa iwo adzanjenjemera moyo wake wonse.
And I have made many peoples astonished at you, And their kings are afraid because of you with trembling, In My brandishing My sword before their faces, And they have trembled every moment, Each for his life—in the day of your fall.
11 “‘Pakuti ndikunena Ine Ambuye Yehova kuti, “‘Lupanga la mfumu ya ku Babuloni lidzabwera kudzalimbana nawe.
For thus said Lord YHWH: A sword of the king of Babylon enters you,
12 Ndidzachititsa gulu lako lankhondo kuti ligwe ndi lupanga la anthu amphamvu, anthu ankhanza kwambiri pakati pa mitundu yonse ya anthu. Adzathetsa kunyada kwa Igupto, ndipo gulu lake lonse la nkhondo lidzagonjetsedwa.
I cause your multitude to fall by swords of the mighty, The terrible of nations—all of them, And they have spoiled the excellence of Egypt, And all her multitude has been destroyed.
13 Ndidzawononga ziweto zake zonse zokhala mʼmbali mwa madzi ambiri. Ku madziko sikudzaonekanso phazi la munthu kapena kudetsedwa ndi phazi la ziweto.
And I have destroyed all her beasts, From beside many waters, And a foot of man does not trouble them anymore, Indeed, the hooves of beasts do not trouble them.
14 Pambuyo pake ndidzayeretsa madzi ake ndipo mitsinje yake idzayenda mokometsera ngati mafuta, akutero Ambuye Yehova.
Then I cause their waters to sink, And I cause their rivers to go as oil, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
15 Ndikadzasandutsa dziko la Igupto kukhala bwinja; ndikadzawononga dziko lonse ndi kukantha onse okhala kumeneko, adzadziwa kuti ndine Yehova.’
In My making the land of Egypt a desolation, And the land has been desolated of its fullness, In My striking all the inhabitants in it, Then they have known that I [am] YHWH.
16 “Mawu angawa adzakhala nyimbo ya maliro. Ana a akazi amitundu ya anthu adzayimba, kuyimbira Igupto ndi gulu lake lonse la nkhondo, akutero Ambuye Yehova.”
It [is] a lamentation, and they have lamented her, Daughters of the nations lament her, For Egypt, and for all her multitude, they lament her, A declaration of Lord YHWH.”
17 Pa tsiku la 15 la mwezi woyamba, chaka cha khumi ndi chiwiri, Yehova anayankhula kuti:
And it comes to pass, in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth of the month, a word of YHWH has been to me, saying,
18 “Iwe mwana wa munthu, lirira gulu lankhondo la Igupto ndipo uwalowetse pamodzi ndi anthu ena amphamvu a mayiko ena ku dziko la anthu akufa.
“Son of man, Wail for the multitude of Egypt, And cause it to go down, It, and the daughters of majestic nations, To the lower parts of the earth, With those going down to the pit.
19 Ufunse kuti, ‘Ndani amene akukuposa kukongola? Tsikirani ku manda ndi kukhala pamodzi ndi anthu osachita mdulidwe.’
Whom have you surpassed in beauty? Go down, and be laid with [the] uncircumcised.
20 Aigupto adzagwa pakati pa amene akuphedwa ndi lupanga. Lupanga ndi losololedwa kale. Iye adzaphedwa pamodzi ndi gulu lake lankhondo.
They fall in the midst of the pierced of the sword, She has been given [to] the sword, They drew her out, and all her multitude.
21 Mʼkati mwa manda atsogoleri amphamvu pamodzi ndi ogwirizana nawo azidzakambirana za Igupto nʼkumati, ‘Afika kuno anthu osachita mdulidwe aja! Ndi awa agona apawa, ophedwa pa nkhondo.’ (Sheol h7585)
The gods of the mighty speak to him out of the midst of Sheol, With his helpers—they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword. (Sheol h7585)
22 “Asiriya ali komweko ndipo ankhondo ake onse ali mʼmanda omuzungulira. Onsewo anaphedwa pa nkhondo.
There [is] Asshur, and all her assembly, His graves [are] around him, All of them [are] wounded, who are falling by sword,
23 Manda awo ali kumalo ozama a dzenje, ndipo ankhondo ake azungulira manda ake. Onse amene anaopseza dziko la anthu amoyo aphedwa, agwa ndi lupanga.
Whose graves are appointed in the sides of the pit, And her assembly is around her grave, All of them wounded, falling by sword, Because they gave terror in the land of the living.
24 “Elamu ali komweko ndipo ankhondo ake ali mʼmanda omuzungulira. Onsewa anaphedwa pa nkhondo, natsikira ku manda ali osachita mdulidwe. Iwowa kale ankaopseza anthu pa dziko lapansi. Tsopano akuchita manyazi pamodzi ndi amene ali mʼmanda.
There [is] Elam, and all her multitude, Around her grave, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, Because they gave their terror in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.
25 Amukonzera pogona pakati pa anthu ophedwa, pamodzi ndi gulu lake lonse la nkhondo litazungulira manda ake. Onsewo ndi anthu osachita mdulidwe ophedwa ndi lupanga. Paja anthuwa ankaopsa mʼdziko la anthu a moyo. Koma tsopano akuchita manyazi pamodzi ndi amene ali mʼmanda. Iwo ayikidwa pakati pa anthu ophedwa.
They have appointed a bed for her in the midst of the wounded, With all her multitude, Her graves [are] around them, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For their terror was given in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit, He has been set in the midst of the pierced.
26 “Mesaki ndi Tubala ali komweko, pamodzi ndi gulu lonse la nkhondo litazungulira manda awo. Onsewo ndi anthu osachita mdulidwe, ophedwa ndi lupanga. Paja ankaopsa mʼdziko la anthu amoyo.
There [is] Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude, Her graves [are] around them, All of them uncircumcised, pierced by the sword, For they gave their terror in the land of the living,
27 Iwo sanayikidwe mwaulemu ngati ankhondo amphamvu amakedzana, amene anatsikira ku dziko la anthu akufa ndi zida zawo zomwe za nkhondo. Malupanga awo anawayika ku mitu yawo, ndipo zishango zawo anaphimba mafupa awo. Kale anthu amphamvu amenewa ankaopsa dziko la anthu amoyo. (Sheol h7585)
And they do not lie with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to Sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty [is] in the land of the living. (Sheol h7585)
28 “Iwenso Farao, udzaphwanyidwa ndi kuyikidwa pakati pa anthu osachita mdulidwe, amene anaphedwa ndi lupanga.
And you are broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, And lie with the pierced of the sword.
29 “Edomu ali kumeneko pamodzi ndi mafumu ake ndi akalonga ake onse. Ngakhale anali amphamvu, koma anayikidwa. Ayikidwa pamodzi ndi anthu osachita mdulidwe, pamodzi ndi iwo amene akutsikira ku dzenje.
There [is] Edom, her kings, and all her princes, Who have been given up in their might, With the pierced of the sword, They lie with the uncircumcised, And with those going down to the pit.
30 “Akalonga onse akumpoto pamodzi ndi anthu onse a ku Sidoni ali kumeneko. Anatsikira ku dziko la anthu akufa mwamanyazi ngakhale anali owopsa ndi mphamvu zawo. Iwo akugona osachita mdulidwe pamodzi ndi amene anaphedwa ndi lupanga ndipo akuchita manyazi pamodzi ndi iwo amene anatsikira kale ku manda.
There [are] princes of the north, All of them, and every Zidonian, Who have gone down with the pierced in their terror, They are ashamed of their might, And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced of the sword, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.
31 “Farao ndi gulu lake lankhondo akadzawaona iwowa adzathunza mtima pokumbukira kuchuluka kwa gulu lake lankhondo limene linaphedwa pa nkhondo. Ndikutero Ine Ambuye Yehova.
Then Pharaoh sees, And he has been comforted for all his multitude, The pierced of the sword—Pharaoh and all his force, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
32 Paja ankaopsa mʼdziko la anthu amoyo. Koma Faraoyo pamodzi ndi ankhondo ake onse adzayikidwa pamodzi ndi anthu osachita mdulidwe, pamodzi ndi amene anaphedwa pa nkhondo. Ndikutero Ine Ambuye Yehova.”
For I have given his terror in the land of the living, And he has been laid down in [the] midst of [the] uncircumcised, With [the] pierced of [the] sword—Pharaoh, and all his multitude, A declaration of Lord YHWH!”
