< Deuteronomo 27 >

1 Mose ndi akuluakulu a Israeli analamula anthu kuti, “Sungani malamulo onse amene ndikukupatsani lero lino.
Moses [Drawn out] and the elders of Israel [God prevails] enjoined the people, saying, “Keep all the mitzvot ·instructions· and statutes which I enjoin you today.
2 Mukawoloka mtsinje wa Yorodani kulowa mʼdziko limene Yehova Mulungu wanu akukupatsani, muyimiritse miyala ingapo ikuluikulu ndi kuyikulungiza.
It shall be on the day when you shall pass over the Jordan [Descender] to the land which Adonai your God gives you, that you shall set yourself up great stones, and coat them with plaster.
3 Mulembepo mawu onse a malamulo amenewa pamene muwoloka kulowa mʼdziko limene Yehova Mulungu wanu akukupatsani, dziko loyenda mkaka ndi uchi, monga momwe Yehova Mulungu wa makolo anu anakulonjezerani.
You shall write on them all the words of this Torah ·Teaching·, when you have passed over; that you may go in to the land which Adonai your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Adonai, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
4 Ndipo mukawoloka Yorodani muyimike miyala iyi pa Phiri la Ebala monga momwe ndikukulamulirani lero lino ndipo muyikulungize.
It shall be, when you have crossed over the Jordan [Descender], that you shall set up these stones, which I enjoin you today, on Mount Ebal, and you shall coat them with plaster.
5 Pamenepo mumange guwa lansembe la miyala la Yehova Mulungu wanu. Musagwiritse ntchito chida chilichonse chachitsulo pa miyalapo.
There you shall build an altar to Adonai your God, an altar of stones. You shall not use any iron tool on them.
6 Mumange guwa lansembe la Yehova Mulungu wanu ndi miyala yakutchire ndi kuperekerapo nsembe yopsereza kwa Yehova Mulungu wanu.
You shall build Adonai your God’s altar of uncut stones. You shall offer burnt offerings on it to Adonai your God.
7 Muperekerepo nsembe zopereka za chiyanjano, muzidye ndi kukondwera pamaso pa Yehova Mulungu wanu.
You shall sacrifice peace offerings, and shall eat there. You shall rejoice before Adonai your God.
8 Ndipo pa miyalapo mudzalembepo mawu onse a malamulo ndi malemba akuluakulu.”
You shall write on the stones all the words of this Torah ·Teaching· very plainly.”
9 Kenaka Mose ndi ansembe, amene ndi Alevi anati kwa Aisraeli onse, “Khalani chete Aisraeli inu ndipo mumvetsere! Tsopano inu ndinu anthu a Yehova Mulungu wanu.
Moses [Drawn out] and the priests the Levites [Descendants of United with] spoke to all Israel [God prevails], saying, “Be silent, and sh'ma ·hear obey·, Israel [God prevails]! Today you have become the people of Adonai your God.
10 Muzimvera Yehova Mulungu wanu ndi kutsata malamulo ake ndi malangizo ake omwe ndikukupatsani lero lino.”
You shall therefore sh'ma ·hear obey· Adonai your God’s voice, and do his instructions and his statutes, which I enjoin you today.”
11 Tsiku lomwelo Mose analamula anthu kuti:
Moses [Drawn out] enjoined the people the same day, saying,
12 Mukawoloka Yorodani, mafuko awa akayimirire pa Phiri la Gerizimu ndi kudalitsa anthu: Simeoni, Levi, Yuda, Isakara, Yosefe ndi Benjamini.
“These shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you have crossed over the Jordan [Descender]: Simeon [Hearing], Levi [United with], Judah [Praised], Issachar [Hire, Reward], Joseph [May he add], and Benjamin [Son of right hand, Son of south].
13 Ndipo mafuko awa akayimirire pa Phiri la Ebala ndi kutchula matemberero: Rubeni, Gadi, Aseri, Zebuloni, Dani ndi Nafutali.
These shall stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben [See, a son!], Gad [Good fortune], Asher [Happy], Zebulun [Living together], Dan [He judged], and Naphtali [My wrestling].
14 Alevi adzayankhula mokweza kwa Aisraeli onse kuti:
With a loud voice, the Levites [Descendants of United with] shall say to all the men of Israel [God prevails],
15 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene asema chifanizo kapena kupanga fano, ndi kuchiyika mobisa, pakuti chimenechi ndi chinthu chodetsedwa pamaso pa Yehova, ntchito za manja a anthu.”
‘Cursed is the man who makes an engraved or molten image, an abomination to Adonai, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ All the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
16 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene sachitira ulemu abambo ake kapena amayi ake.”
‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or his mother.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
17 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene amasuntha mwala wa malire wa mnzake.”
‘Cursed is he who removes his neighbor’s landmark.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
18 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene amasocheretsa munthu wosaona pa msewu.”
‘Cursed is he who leads the blind astray, intoxicated, unintentional sin ·error· on the road.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
19 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene sachitira chilungamo mlendo, ana amasiye kapena mkazi wamasiye.”
‘Cursed is he who withholds mishpat ·justice· from the foreigner, orphan, and widow.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
20 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene agonana ndi mkazi wa abambo ake pakuti iye sachitira ulemu pogona pa abambo ake.”
‘Cursed is he who lies with his father’s wife, because he dishonors his father’s bed.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
21 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene achita chigololo ndi nyama ya mtundu uli wonse.”
‘Cursed is he who lies with any kind of animal.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
22 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene agonana ndi mlongo wake, mwana wamkazi wa abambo ake kapena mwana wamkazi wa amayi ake.”
‘Cursed is he who lies with his sister, his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
23 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene agonana ndi apongozi ake.”
‘Cursed is he who lies with his mother-in-law.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
24 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene apha mnzake mwachinsinsi.”
‘Cursed is he who secretly kills his neighbor.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
25 “Ndi wotembereredwa munthu amene alandira chiphuphu kuti aphe munthu wosalakwa.”
‘Cursed is he who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
26 “Ndi wotembereredwa aliyense amene sachita kapena sasunga mawu a malamulo awa.”
‘Cursed is he who does not uphold the words of this Torah ·Teaching· by doing them.’ ‘All the people shall say, “Amen ·So be it·.’”
