1 Pamenepo Solomoni anayamba kumanga Nyumba ya Yehova mu Yerusalemu pa Phiri la Moriya, pamene Yehova anaonekera Davide abambo ake. Panali pabwalo lopunthirapo tirigu la Arauna Myebusi, malo amene anapereka Davide.
Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where he appeared to David his father, at the place that David had designated, on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 Iye anayamba kumanga pa tsiku lachiwiri la mwezi wachiwiri mʼchaka chachinayi cha ulamuliro wake.
And he began to build in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Maziko amene Solomoni anayika pomanga Nyumba ya Mulungu ndi awa: Mulitali munali mamita 27, mulifupi munali mamita asanu ndi anayi (potsata miyeso yakale).
Now these are the foundations which Solomon laid for the building of God's house. The length, using the former standard measure, was one hundred three feet and four inches, and the breadth was thirty-four feet and five inches, and its height was fifty-one feet and eight inches.
4 Chipinda cha polowera mulitali mwake chinali mamita asanu ndi anayi ofanana ndi mulifupi mwake mwa nyumbayo. Msinkhu wake unali mamita 54. Iye anakuta nyumbayo mʼkati mwake ndi golide woyengeka bwino.
The porch that was in front of the house was the same as the width of the house, thirty-four feet and five inches, and the depth was seventeen feet and three inches; and he overlaid it on the inside with pure gold.
5 Chipinda chachikulu, khoma lake anakhomera matabwa a payini ndipo analikutira ndi golide wabwino ndi kulikongoletsa ndi zithunzi za kanjedza ndi maunyolo.
The greater house he made a ceiling with fir wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and ornamented it with palm trees and chains.
6 Iye anakongoletsa Nyumba ya Mulunguyo ndi miyala yokongola. Ndipo golide amene anagwiritsa ntchito anali golide wa ku Paravaimu.
He garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7 Iye anakutira ndi golide mitanda ya ku denga, maferemu a zitseko, makoma ndi zitseko za Nyumba ya Mulungu, ndipo anajambula Akerubi mʼmakoma mwake.
He overlaid also the house, the beams, the thresholds, and its walls, and its doors, with gold; and engraved cherubim on the walls.
8 Iye anamanga Malo Opatulika Kwambiri ndipo mulitali mwake munali mofanana ndi mulifupi mwa Nyumba mamita asanu ndi anayi. Anakuta mʼkati mwake ndi golide wosalala wolemera matani makumi awiri.
He made the most holy house: its length, according to the breadth of the house, was thirty-four feet and five inches, and its breadth thirty-four feet and five inches; and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9 Misomali yagolide imalemera magalamu 570. Anakutanso ndi golide zipinda zapamwamba.
The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. He overlaid the upper rooms with gold.
10 Ku Malo Opatulika Kwambiri iye anapangako Akerubi awiri achitsulo ndipo anawakuta ndi golide.
In the most holy house he made two cherubim of sculptured work; and he overlaid them with gold.
11 Kutalika kwa mapiko onse a Akerubi kunali mamita asanu ndi anayi. Phiko la Kerubi woyamba linali loposerapo mamita awiri ndipo limakhudza khoma la Nyumba ya Mulungu, pamene phiko linalo, lotalikanso koposerapo mamita awiri, limakhudza phiko la Kerubi winayo.
The wings of the cherubim were thirty-four feet and five inches: the wing of the one was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 Chimodzimodzinso phiko la Kerubi wachiwiri linali loposerapo mamita awiri ndipo limakhudza mbali ina ya khoma la Nyumba ya Mulungu, ndipo linalo limene linalinso loposera mamita awiri, limakhudza phiko la Kerubi woyamba uja.
The wing of the other cherub was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was eight feet and seven inches, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13 Mapiko a Akerubiwa akawatambasula amatalika mamita asanu ndi anayi. Akerubiwa anayimirira pa mapazi awo, kuyangʼana chipinda chachikulu.
The wings of these cherubim were extended thirty-four feet and five inches: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.
14 Solomoni anapanga nsalu zotchingira zobiriwira, zapepo ndi zofiira ndi nsalu zofewa zosalala, atajambulapo Akerubi.
He made the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and ornamented it with cherubim.
15 Kutsogolo kwa Nyumba ya Mulungu anamangako zipilala ziwiri, zimene zonse pamodzi zinali zotalika mamita khumi ndi asanu ndi theka; chipilala chilichonse chinali ndi mutu woposera mamita awiri.
Also he made before the house two pillars sixty feet and three inches high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was eight feet and seven inches.
16 Iye anapanga maunyolo olumikizanalumikizana ndipo anawayika pamwamba pa zipilalazo. Anapanganso makangadza 100 ndipo anawalumikiza ku maunyolo aja.
He made chains in the inner sanctuary, and put them on the tops of the pillars; and he made one hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17 Solomoni anayimika nsanamirazo kutsogolo kwa Nyumba ya Mulungu, imodzi mbali ya kummwera ndi inayo mbali ya kumpoto. Nsanamira ya kummwera anayitcha Yakini ndipo ya kumpoto anayitcha Bowazi.
He set up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jakin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
