< 1 Timoteyo 6 >
1 Onse amene ali mu ukapolo ayenera kuona ambuye awo ngati oyenera kuwachitira ulemu, kuti anthu anganyoze dzina la Mulungu ndi chiphunzitso chathu.
Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and [his] doctrine may not be blasphemed.
2 Amene ambuye awo ndi okhulupirira, asawapeputse chifukwa ambuye ndi abale mʼchikhulupiriro. Mʼmalo mwake akuyenera kuwatumikira bwino chifukwa ambuye wawo ndi okondedwa monga okhulupirira ndiponso ndi odzipereka kusamalira akapolo awo. Zinthu izi ukuyenera kuziphunzitsa ndi kuwalamula anthu.
And they that have believing masters, let them not despise [them], because they are brethren; but rather do [them] service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
3 Ngati wina aphunzitsa zosiyana ndi zimenezi, wosagwirizana ndi malangizo woona a Ambuye athu Yesu Khristu ndi chiphunzitso cholemekeza Mulungu,
If any man teacheth otherwise, and consenteth not to wholesome words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the doctrine which is according to godliness,
4 ameneyo ndi wodzitukumula ndipo sakudziwa chilichonse. Iyeyo ali ndi maganizo oyipa, wokonda kusemphana mawu ndi kutsutsana. Zimenezi zimabweretsa nsanje, mikangano, mʼnyozo, kuganizirana zoyipa,
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, from which cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 ndi kulimbana kosatha pakati pa anthu amitima yopotoka amene alandidwa choonadi ndipo amaganiza kuti kulemekeza Mulungu ndi njira yopezera chuma.
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 Koma kulemekeza Mulungu kuli ndi phindu lalikulu.
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 Pakuti sitinabweretse kanthu mʼdziko lapansi, ndipo sitingatengenso kanthu pochoka mʼdziko lapansi.
For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out.
8 Koma ngati tili ndi chakudya ndi zovala, zimenezi zitikwanire.
And having food and raiment, with these let us be content.
9 Anthu amene amafuna kulemera amagwa mʼmayesero ndi mu msampha ndi mʼzilakolako zambiri zopusa ndi zoopsa zimene zimagwetsera anthu mʼchitayiko ndi mʼchiwonongeko.
But they that will be rich, fall into temptation, and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 Pakuti kukonda ndalama ndiye muzu wa zoyipa za mitundu yonse. Anthu ena ofunitsitsa ndalama, asochera ndipo asiya njira yachikhulupiriro ndipo adzitengera zowawitsa zambiri.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some have coveted, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 Koma iwe, munthu wa Mulungu, thawa zinthu zonsezi. Tsatira chilungamo, moyo wolemekeza Mulungu, chikhulupiriro, chikondi, kupirira ndi kufatsa.
But thou, O man of God, flee from these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Menya nkhondo yabwino yachikhulupiriro. Gwiritsitsa moyo wosatha umene anakuyitanira pamene unavomereza bwino lomwe pamaso pa mboni zambiri. (aiōnios )
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
13 Ndikukulamula pamaso pa Mulungu amene amapatsa moyo zinthu zonse, ndiponso pamaso pa Khristu Yesu amene pochitira umboni pamaso pa Pontiyo Pilato, ananena zoona zenizeni.
I give thee charge in the sight of God, who maketh alive all things, and [before] Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate testified a good confession;
14 Usunge lamuloli mopanda banga ndi cholakwa kufikira Ambuye athu Yesu Khristu ataonekera.
That thou keep [this] commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 Pa nthawi yake Mulungu adzamubweretsa kwa ife. Mulungu ndi wodalitsika ndipo Iye yekha ndiye Wolamulira, Mfumu ya mafumu, Mbuye wa ambuye.
Which in his times he will show [who is] the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16 Ndiye yekha wosafa ndipo amakhala mʼkuwala koopsa. Mulungu amene munthu aliyense sanamuone. Kwa Iye kukhale ulemu ndi mphamvu mpaka muyaya. Ameni. (aiōnios )
Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honor and power everlasting. Amen. (aiōnios )
17 Anthu onse amene ali ndi chuma uwalamule kuti asanyade kapena kuyika mitima yawo pa chuma chimene nʼchosadalirika. Koma chiyembekezo chawo chikhale mwa Mulungu amene amatipatsa mowolowamanja zonse zotisangalatsa. (aiōn )
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (aiōn )
18 Uwalamule kuti azichita zabwino, kuti azikhala olemera pa ntchito zabwino, owolowamanja ndi okonda kugawana zinthu zawo ndi anzawo.
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
19 Potero adzadziwunjikira chuma chokhalitsa ngati maziko okhazikika a nthawi zakutsogolo, kuti akalandire moyo, umene ndi moyo weniweni.
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 Timoteyo, samalitsa zimene unapatsidwa. Upewe nkhani zopanda pake zosalemekeza Mulungu ndiponso maganizo otsutsana amene amaganizidwa molakwika kuti ndi nzeru.
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane [and] vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called;
21 Anthu ena chifukwa chovomereza nzeru zotere, asochera nʼkutaya chikhulupiriro chawo. Chisomo chikhale nawe.
Which some professing, have erred concerning the faith. Grace [be] with thee. Amen.
