1 Akorinto 6
1 Pamene wina wa inu ali ndi mlandu ndi mnzake, nʼchifukwa chiyani amatengera nkhaniyo kwa anthu akunja kuti akawaweruze mʼmalo mopita nayo kwa oyera mtima?
Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the holy ones?
2 Kodi inu simukudziwa kuti anthu a Mulungu adzaweruza dziko lapansi? Ndipo ngati inu mungaweruze dziko lapansi, kodi sindinu oyenera kuweruza milandu ingʼonoyingʼono?
Don’t you know that the holy ones will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3 Kodi simukudziwa kuti mudzaweruza angelo? Nanga bwanji zinthu za mʼmoyo uno!
Don’t you know that we will judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?
4 Nʼchifukwa chake, ngati pali milandu pa zinthu zotere, sankhani anthu ena kuti akhale oweruza ngakhale alibe udindo mu mpingo.
If then you have to judge things pertaining to this life, do you set them to judge who are of no account in the assembly?
5 Ndikunena izi kuti ndikuchititseni manyazi. Moti nʼkutheka kuti pakati panu palibe wina wanzeru zokwanira kuti aziweruza mlandu pakati pa Akhristu?
I say this to move you to shame. Isn’t there even one wise man among you who would be able to decide between his brothers?
6 Koma mʼmalo mwake mʼbale atengera ku bwalo la mlandu mʼbale mnzake kukaweruzidwa. Zonsezi pamaso pa akunja!
But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers!
7 Chokha choti mwakasumirana chikuonetseratu kuti mwagonjetsedwa kale. Bwanji osangolola kuti ena akulakwireni? Bwanji osangolola kuti ena akubereni?
Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?
8 Mʼmalo mwake, inuyo ndiye mumabera ena ndi kuwalakwira, ndipo mumachita izi kwa abale anu.
No, but you yourselves do wrong and defraud, and that against your brothers.
9 Kodi simukudziwa kuti munthu woyipa sadzalowa mu ufumu wa Mulungu? Musanyengedwe: achigololo, kapena opembedza mafano, kapena achiwerewere, kapena amuna adama, kapena ogonana ndi amuna okhaokha;
Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,
10 kapena akuba, kapena aumbombo, kapena oledzera, kapena achipongwe, kapena opeza ndalama mwachinyengo sadzalowa mu ufumu wa Mulungu.
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom.
11 Ndipo umu ndi mmene ena mwa inu munalili. Koma munatsukidwa, munayeretsedwa, munalungamitsidwa mʼdzina la Ambuye Yesu Khristu ndi Mzimu wa Mulungu wathu.
Some of you were such, but you were washed. You were sanctified. You were justified in the name of the Lord Yeshua, and in the Spirit of our God.
12 Inu mumati, “Ine ndili ndi ufulu wochita chilichonse.” Komatu si zonse zimene nʼzothandiza. “Ndili ndi ufulu wochita chilichonse.” Koma sindidzagonjetsedwa ndi chilichonse.
“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
13 Inu mumati, “Chakudya, kwake nʼkulowa mʼmimba ndipo mimba ntchito yake nʼkulandira chakudyacho.” Koma Mulungu adzawononga zonsezi. Thupi silochitira chigololo, koma la Ambuye, ndipo Ambuye ndiye mwini thupilo.
“Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods,” but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
14 Mwamphamvu zake Mulungu anaukitsa Ambuye kwa akufa, ndipo ifenso adzatiukitsa.
Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.
15 Kodi simukudziwa kuti matupi anuwo ndi ziwalo za Khristu mwini? Kodi tsono ndingatenge ziwalo za Khristu nʼkuzisandutsa ziwalo za mkazi wadama? Zosatheka!
Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Messiah? Shall I then take the members of Messiah and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!
16 Kodi simukudziwa kuti amene amadzipereka kwa mkazi wadama, iyeyo ndi mkaziyo amasanduka thupi limodzi? Paja kunalembedwa kuti, “Awiriwo adzakhala thupi limodzi.”
Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, “The two”, he says, “will become one flesh.”
17 Koma amene amadzipereka kwa Ambuye, iyeyo ndi Ambuye amakhala mzimu umodzi.
But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.
18 Thawani dama. Machimo onse amene munthu amachita amakhala kunja kwa thupi lake, koma amene amachita machimo okhudza chigololo, amachimwira thupi lake lomwe.
Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
19 Kodi simukudziwa kuti thupi lanu ndi Nyumba ya Mzimu Woyera, amene ali mwa inu, amene mwalandira kuchokera kwa Mulungu? Inu simuli panokha ayi.
Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,
20 Ndinu ochita kugulidwa. Nʼchifukwa chake lemekezani Mulungu mʼthupi lanu.
for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
