1 Akorinto 5
1 Mbiri yamveka kuti pakati panu pakuchitika chigololo. Ndipo chigololo cha mtunduwu ngakhale pakati pa akunja sichingapezeke; munthu akumagonana ndi mkazi wa abambo ake.
It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality amongst you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named amongst the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife.
2 Ndipo inu mukudzitukumulabe. Kodi simukanayenera kudzazidwa ndi chisoni ndipo mukanamuchotsa pa chiyanjano chanu munthu wochita zimenezi?
You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from amongst you.
3 Ngakhale sindili nanu mʼthupi, ndili nanu mu mzimu. Ndipo ineyo ndapereka kale chiweruzo pa munthu amene amachita zotere, ngati kuti ndili komweko.
For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.
4 Mukasonkhana mu dzina la Ambuye athu Yesu, ine ndili nanu mu mzimu, ndipo mphamvu ya Ambuye athu Yesu ili pomwepo,
In the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, when you are gathered together with my spirit with the power of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,
5 mumupereke munthuyu kwa Satana, kuti chikhalidwe chake cha uchimo chiwonongedwe ndikuti mzimu wake udzapulumuke pa tsiku la Ambuye.
you are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Yeshua.
6 Kudziwa kwanu si kwabwino. Kodi simukudziwa kuti yisiti wochepa amafufumitsa mphumphu yaufa wonse wa tirigu?
Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?
7 Chotsani yisiti wakale kuti mukhale ndi mphumphu yopanda yisiti, monga inu muli. Pakuti Khristu, Mwana Wankhosa wa Paska wathu, anaperekedwa nsembe.
Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Messiah, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.
8 Choncho, tiyeni tisunge chikondwererochi, osati ndi yisiti wakale, wowononga ndi woyipa, koma ndi buledi wopanda yisiti, buledi woona mtima ndi choonadi.
Therefore let’s keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9 Ndakulemberani mʼkalata yanga kuti musayanjane nawo anthu achigololo.
I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;
10 Pamenepatu sindikutanthauzatu anthu a dziko lapansi lino amene ndi achigololo, kapena aumbombo, kapena opeza ndalama mwachinyengo, kapena opembedza mafano. Kukanatero mukanangochoka mʼdziko lapansi lino.
yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world.
11 Koma tsopano ndikukulemberani kuti musayanjane ndi aliyense amene adzitcha mʼbale koma ndi wachigololo, kapena waumbombo, kapena wopembedza mafano, kapena wonamizira anzake, woledzera kapena wopeza ndalama mwachinyengo. Munthu wotere ngakhale kudya, osadya naye pamodzi.
But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person.
12 Kodi ndipindulanji kuti ndiweruze anthu amene si a mu mpingo? Kodi simuyenera kuweruza iwo amene ali mu mpingo?
For what do I have to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?
13 Mulungu adzaweruza akunja. “Chotsani woyipayo pakati panu.”
But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from amongst yourselves.”
