And, the sons of Tola, were Uzzi and Rephaiah and Jeriel and Jahmai and Ibsam and Shemuel, chiefs of their ancestral house, pertaining to Tola, heroes of valour, in their generations, —their number, in the days of David, twenty-two thousand and six hundred.

And, the sons of Uzzi, Izrahiah, —and, the sons of Izrahiah, Michael and Obadiah and Joel, Isshiah—five, chiefs, all of them;
4 Monga mwa chiwerengero cha mabanja awo, panali anthu 36,000 odziwa kumenya nkhondo, pakuti iwo anali ndi akazi ndi ana ambiri.
and, with them by their generations, pertaining to their ancestral house, were bands of a host for war, thirty-six thousand, —for they had many wives and sons;
5 Abale awo onse a mʼbanja la Isakara amene anali odziwa kumenya nkhondo analipo 87,000, olembedwa potsata mibado yawo.
and, their brethren, of all the families of Issachar, heroes of great valour, were eighty-seven thousand, when they had, all, registered themselves.
6 Ana atatu a Benjamini anali awa: Bela, Bekeri ndi Yediaeli.
Benjamin, Bela and Becher and Jediael, three.
7 Ana a Bela anali awa: Eziboni, Uzi, Uzieli, Yerimoti ndi Iri. Iwowa anali atsogoleri a mabanja awo ndipo onse pamodzi analipo asanu. Pa mndandanda wa mʼbado wawo panali anthu 22,034 odziwa kumenya nkhondo.
And, the sons of Bela, Ezbon and Uzzi and Uzziel and Jerimoth and Iri, five, chiefs of the ancestral house, heroes of great valour, —who, when they had registered themselves, were twenty-two thousand and thirty-four,
8 Ana a Bekeri anali awa: Zemira, Yowasi, Eliezara, Eliyoenai, Omiri, Yeremoti, Abiya, Anatoti ndi Alemeti. Onsewa anali ana a Bekeri.
And, the sons of Becher, Zemirah and Joash and Eliezer and Elioenai and Omri, and Jeremoth and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these, were sons of Becher.
9 Pa mndandanda wa mʼbado wawo panali atsogoleri a mabanja ndi anthu 20,200 odziwa kumenya nkhondo.
And, when they had registered themselves by their generations, the chiefs of their ancestral house, the heroes of valour, were twenty thousand and two hundred.
10 Mwana wa Yediaeli anali Bilihani. Ana a Bilihani anali awa: Yeusi, Benjamini, Ehudi, Kenaana, Zetani, Tarisisi ndi Ahisahara.
And, the sons of Jediael, Bilhan, —and, the sons of Bilhan, Jeish and Benjamin and Ehud and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahah.
11 Ana onsewa a Yediaeli anali atsogoleri a mabanja. Analipo anthu 17,200 amene anali okonzeka kupita ku nkhondo.
All these—sons of Jediael, by ancestral chiefs, heroes of great valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred, ready to go forth as a host to war: —
12 Asupi ndi Ahupi anali zidzukulu za Iri, ndipo Ahusimu anali zidzukulu za Aheri.
Shuppim also and Huppim, sons of Ir, Hushim sons of Aher.
13 Ana a Nafutali anali awa: Yahazieli, Guni, Yezeri ndi Salumu, zidzukulu za Biliha.
the sons of Naphtali, Jahziel and Guni, and Jezer and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.
14 Ana a Manase anali awa: Asirieli ndi mwana amene anabereka kwa mzikazi wake wa ku Aramu. Mzikazi yemweyo anaberekanso Makiri abambo ake a Giliyadi.
The sons of Manasseh, Asriel, whom, [his wife] bare, —his concubine, the Syrian, bare Machir the father of Gilead;
15 Makiri anatenga mkazi wa banja la Ahupi ndi Asupi. Mlongo wake anali Maaka. Mwana wake wina anali Zelofehadi, amene anabereka ana aakazi okhaokha.
and, Machir, took a wife pertaining to Huppim and Shuppim, and, the name of his sister, was Maacah, and, the name of the second, Zelophehad, —and, Zelophehad, had, daughters.
16 Maaka mkazi wa Makiri anabereka mwana wamwamuna ndipo anamutcha Perezi. Mʼbale wake anamutcha Seresi, ndipo ana ake anali Ulamu ndi Rakemu.
So then Maacah, wife of Machir, bare a son, and called his name Peresh, and, the name of his brother, was Sheresh, —and, his sons, were Ulam and Rakem;
17 Mwana wa Ulamu anali Bedani. Awa anali ana a Giliyadi mwana wa Makiri, mwana wa Manase.
and, the sons of Ulam, Bedan. These, were the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh.
18 Mlongo wake Hamoleketi anabereka Isihodi, Abiezeri ndi Mahila.
And, his sister, Hammolecheth, bare Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 Ana a Semida anali: Ahiyani, Sekemu, Likihi ndi Aniyamu.
And, the sons of Shemida, were Ahian and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
20 Ana a Efereimu anali awa: Sutela, Beredi, Tahati, Eliada, Tahati,
And, the sons of Ephraim, Shuthelah, —and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son;
21 Zabadi, Sutela. Ezeri ndi Eladi anaphedwa ndi anthu a ku Gati, pamene anabwera kudzalanda zoweta zawo.
and Zabad his son and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead, —but the men of Gath who had been born in the land slew them, because they had come down to take away their cattle.
22 Efereimu, abambo awo, anawalira masiku ambiri, ndipo abale ake anabwera kudzamutonthoza.
And Ephraim their father mourned many days, —and his brethren came to comfort him.

And, his daughter, was Sheerah, who built Beth-horon the nether and the upper, —and Uzzen-sheerah.
25 Mwana wina wa Efereimu anali Refa amene zidzukulu zake zinali Resefu, Tela, Tahani,
And Rephah his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son, —
26 Ladani, Amihudi, Elisama,
Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son, —
27 Nuni ndi Yoswa.
Non his son, Joshua his son.
28 Malo amene ankakhala anali Beteli ndi midzi yozungulira, cha kummawa kunali Naarani, Gezeri ndi midzi yake ya kumadzulo ndi Sekemu ndi midzi yake mpaka ku Aya ndi midzi yake.
And, their possessions, and their dwellings, were Bethel, and the villages thereof; and, eastward, Naaran, and, westward, Gezer, and the villages thereof, and Shechem, and the villages thereof, —as far as Aiyah, and the villages thereof; —

And, the sons of Beriah, Heber, and Malchiel, —the same, was the father of Birzaith.
32 Heberi anabereka Yafuleti, Someri, Hotamu ndi Suwa, mlongo wawo.
And, Heber, begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, —and, Shua, their sister.
33 Ana a Yafuleti anali awa: Pasaki, Bimuhali ndi Asivati. Awa anali ana a Yafuleti.
And, the sons of Japhlet, Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These, were the sons of Japhlet.
34 Ana a Someri anali awa: Ahi, Rohiga, Yehuba ndi Aramu.
And, the sons of Shemer, Ahi, and Rohgah, Jahbah, and Aram.
35 Ana a mʼbale wake Helemu anali awa: Zofa, Imuna, Selesi ndi Amali.
And, the sons of Helem, his brother, Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh and Amal.
36 Ana a Zofa anali awa: Suwa, Harineferi, Suwali, Beri, Imula,
The sons of Zophah, Suah and Harnepher, and Shual and Beri, and Imrah, —
37 Bezeri, Hodi, Sama, Silisa, Itirani ndi Bera.
Bezer and Hod, and Shamma and Shilshah, and Ithran and Beera.
38 Ana a Yeteri anali awa: Yefune, Pisipa ndi Ara.
And, the sons of Jether, Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.
39 Ana a Ula anali awa: Ara, Hanieli ndi Riziya.
And, the sons of Ulla, Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 Onsewa anali zidzukulu za Aseri, atsogoleri a mabanja, anthu omveka, ankhondo olimba mtima, ndi akuluakulu pakati pa atsogoleri anzawo. Chiwerengero cha anthu odziwa kumenya nkhondo chomwe chinalembedwa chinali 26,000.
All these, were sons of Asher, chiefs of the ancestral house, choice men, heroes of great valour, chiefs of the leaders, —and, when they registered themselves, in host, for war, the number of the men, was twenty-six thousand.
