And these were the sons of David, who were born unto him in Hebron: The first-born, Amnon, of Achino'am the Jizre'elitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigayil the Carmelitess;
2 wachitatu anali Abisalomu, mwana wa Maaka mwana wa Talimai mfumu ya Gesuri; wachinayi anali Adoniya amayi ake anali Hagiti;
The third, Abshalom the son of Ma'achah the daughter of Thalmai the king of Geshur; the fourth, Adoniyah the son of Chaggith;
3 wachisanu anali Sefatiya, amayi ake anali Abitali; wachisanu ndi chimodzi anali Itireamu, amayi ake anali Egila.
The fifth, Shephatyah of Abital; the sixth, Yithre'am of 'Eglah his wife.
4 Ana asanu ndi mmodzi awa a Davide anabadwira ku Hebroni kumene analamulirako zaka zisanu ndi ziwiri ndi miyezi isanu ndi umodzi. Davide analamuliranso mu Yerusalemu kwa zaka 33,
Six were born unto him in Hebron: and he reigned there seven years and six months; and thirty and three years he reigned in Jerusalem.
5 ndipo ana amene anabadwira ku Yerusalemuko anali awa: Samua, Sobabu, Natani ndi Solomoni. Ana anayi awa anali a Batisuwa mwana wa Amieli.
And these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shim'a! and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bathshua' the daughter of 'Ammiel;
6 Anaberekanso Ibihari, Elisua, Elipeleti,
And Yibchar, and Elishama', and Eliphelet,
7 Noga, Nefegi, Yafiya,
And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia'.
8 Elisama, Eliada ndi Elifeleti, onse analipo asanu ndi anayi.
And Elishama', and Elyada', and Eliphelet, nine.
9 Onsewa anali ana a Davide, osawerengera ana a azikazi. Ndipo mlongo wawo anali Tamara.
[These were] all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Thamar their sister.
10 Mwana wa Solomoni anali Rehabiamu, Rehabiamu anabereka Abiya, Abiya anabereka Asa, Asa anabereka Yehosafati,
And Solomon's son was Rehobo'am. Abiyah his son, Assa his son, Jehoshaphat his son.
11 Yehosafati anabereka Yehoramu, Yehoramu anabereka Ahaziya, Ahaziya anabereka Yowasi,
Joram his son, Achazyahu his son, Joash his son,
12 Yowasi anabereka Amaziya, Amaziya anabereka Azariya, Azariya anabereka Yotamu,
Amazyahu his son, 'Azaryah his son, Jotham his son,
13 Yotamu anabereka Ahazi, Ahazi anabereka Hezekiya, Hezekiya anabereka Manase,
Achaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Menasseh his son,
14 Manase anabereka Amoni, Amoni anabereka Yosiya.
Amon his son, Josiah his son.
15 Ana a Yosiya anali awa: Yohanani mwana wake woyamba, Yehoyakimu mwana wake wachiwiri, Zedekiya mwana wake wachitatu, Salumu mwana wake wachinayi.
And the sons of Josiah were, the first-born Jochanan, the second Jehoyakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.
16 Ana a Yehoyakimu: Yekoniya ndi Zedekiya mwana wake.
And the sons of Jehoyakim: Jechonyah his son, Zedekiah his son.
17 Zidzukulu za Yekoniya wa mʼndende zinali izi: mwana wake Silatieli,
And the sons of Jechonyah: Assir, Shealthiel his son,
18 Malikiramu, Pedaya, Senazara, Yekamiya, Hosama ndi Nedabiya.
And Malkiram, and Pedayah, and Shenazzar, Jekamyah, Hoshama', and Nedabyah.
19 Ana a Pedaya anali awa: Zerubabeli ndi Simei. Ana a Zerubabeli anali awa: Mesulamu ndi Hananiya. Mlongo wawo anali Selomiti.
And the sons of Pedayah were, Zerubbabel, and Shim'i: and the sons of Zerubbabel were, Meshullam, and Chananyah, and Shelomith their sister;
20 Panalinso ana ena asanu awa: Hasubu, Oheli, Berekiya, Hasabiya ndi Yusabu-Hesedi.
And Chashubah, and Ohel, and Berechyah, and Chassadyah, Jushab-chessed, five.
21 Zidzukulu za Hananiya zinali izi: Pelatiya ndi Yesaiya, ndiponso ana a Refaya, ana a Arinani, ana a Obadiya ndi ana a Sekaniya.
And the sons of Chananyah: Pelatyah, and Jesha'yah; the sons of Rephayah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of 'Ohadiah, the sons of Shechanyah.
22 Zidzukulu za Sekaniya zinali izi: Semaya ndi ana ake: Hatusi, Igala, Bariya, Neariya ndi Safati. Onse anali asanu ndi mmodzi.
And the sons of Shechanyah: Shema'yah: and the sons of Shema'yah were Chattush, and Yigal, and Bariach, and Ne'aryah, and Shaphat, six.
23 Ana a Neariya anali awa: Eliyoenai, Hezekiya ndi Azirikamu. Onse anali atatu.
And the sons of Ne'aryah: Elyo'enai, and Hezekiah, and 'Azrikam, three.
24 Ana a Eliyoenai: Hodaviya, Eliyasibu, Pelaya, Akubu, Yohanani, Delaya ndi Anani, onse anali asanu ndi awiri.
And the sons of Elyo'enai were, Hodavyahu, and Elyashib, and Pelayah, and 'Akkub, and Jochanan, and Delayah, and 'Anani, seven.
