1 Magulu a alonda a pa zipata: Kuchokera ku banja la Kora: Meselemiya mwana wa Kore, mmodzi mwa ana a Asafu.
And for the divisions of the gates: the sons of the Corites [were] Mosellemia, of the sons of Asaph.
2 Meselemiya anali ndi ana awa: woyamba Zekariya, wachiwiri Yediaeli, wachitatu Zebadiya, wachinayi Yatinieli,
And Mosellemia's first-born son [was] Zacharias, the second Jadiel, the third Zabadia, the fourth Jenuel,
3 wachisanu Elamu, wachisanu ndi chimodzi Yehohanani, ndipo wachisanu ndi chiwiri Elihunai.
the fifth Jolam, the sixth Jonathan, the seventh Elionai, the eighth Abdedom.
4 Obedi-Edomu analinso ndi ana awa: woyamba Semaya, wachiwiri Yehozabadi, wachitatu Yowa, wachinayi Sakara, wachisanu Netaneli,
And to Abdedom [there were born] sons, Samaias the first-born, Jozabath the second, Joath the third, Sachar the fourth, Nathanael the fifth,
5 wachisanu ndi chimodzi Amieli, wachisanu ndi chiwiri Isakara ndipo wachisanu ndi chitatu Peuletayi. (Pakuti Mulungu anadalitsa Obedi-Edomu).
Amiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Phelathi the eighth: for God blessed him.
6 Mwana wake Semaya analinso ndi ana amene anali atsogoleri mʼbanja la abambo awo chifukwa anali anthu amphamvu.
And to Samaias his son were born the sons of his first-born, chiefs over the house of their father, for they were mighty.
7 Ana a Semaya anali: Otini, Refaeli, Obedi ndi Elizabadi; abale ake, Elihu ndi Semakiya, analinso anthu amphamvu.
The sons of Samai; Othni, and Raphael, and Obed, and Elzabath, and Achiud, mighty men, Heliu, and Sabachia, and Isbacom.
8 Onsewa anali adzukulu a Obedi-Edomu. Iwo ndi ana awo ndiponso abale awo anali anthu aluso ndi amphamvu pogwira ntchito. Zidzukulu zonse za Obedi-Edomu zinalipo 62.
All [these were] of the sons of Abdedom, they and their sons and their brethren, doing mightily in service: in all sixty-two [born] to Abdedom.
9 Meselemiya anali ndi ana ndi abale ake amene anali aluso ndipo onse analipo 18.
And Mosellemia [had] eighteen sons and brethren, mighty men.
10 Hosa Mmerari anali ndi ana awa: woyamba anali Simiri (ngakhale kuti iye sanali woyamba kubadwa, abambo ake anamusankha kuti akhale mtsogoleri),
And to Osa of the sons of Merari [there were born] sons, keeping the dominion; though he was not the first-born, yet his father made him chief of the second division.
11 wachiwiri Hilikiya, wachitatu Tebaliya ndipo wachinayi Zekariya. Ana ndi abale onse a Hosa analipo 13.
Chelcias the second, Tablai the third, Zacharias the fourth: all these [were] the sons and brethren of Osa, thirteen.
12 Magulu amenewa a alonda a pa zipata, motsogozedwa ndi atsogoleri awo, anali ndi ntchito yotumikira mʼNyumba ya Yehova, monga momwe amachitira abale awo.
To these [were assigned] the divisions of the gates, to the chiefs of the mighty men the daily courses, even their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.
13 Iwo anachita maere mwa mabanja awo aangʼono ndi aakulu omwe kuti apeze mlonda pa chipata chilichonse.
And they cast lots for the small as well as for the great, for the several gates, according to their families.
14 Maere a chipata chakummwa anagwera Selemiya. Maere anachitikanso chifukwa cha mwana wake Zekariya, phungu wanzeru ndipo maere a chipata chakumpoto anagwera iye.
And the lot of the east gates fell to Selemias, and Zacharias: the sons of Soaz cast lots for Melchias, and the lot came out northward.
15 Maere a chipata chakummwera anagwera Obedi-Edomu, ndipo maere a nyumba yosungiramo katundu anagwera ana ake.
To Abdedom [they gave by lot] the south, opposite the house of Esephim.
16 Maere a chipata chakumadzulo ndi chipata cha Saleketi ku msewu wa ku mtunda anagwera Supimu ndi Hosa. Mlonda ankayangʼanana ndi mlonda mnzake:
[They gave the lot] for the second to Osa westward, after the gate of the chamber by the ascent, watch against watch.
17 Mbali ya kummawa kunkakhala Alevi 6 pa tsiku, kumpoto anayi pa tsiku, kummwera anayi pa tsiku ndipo awiri ankakhala pa nyumba yosungiramo katundu.
Eastward [were] six [watchmen] in the day; northward four by the day; southward four by the day; and two at the Esephim,
18 Ndipo ku bwalo cha kumadzulo, anayi amakhala mu msewu ndi awiri pabwalo penipeni.
to relieve guard, also for Osa westward after the chamber-gate, three. [There was] a ward over against the ward of the ascent eastward, six [men] in a day, and four for the north, and four for the south, and at the Esephim two to relieve guard, and four by the west, and two to relieve guard at the pathway.
19 Awa anali magulu a alonda a pa zipata amene anali zidzukulu za Kora ndi Merari.
These [are] the divisions of the porters for the sons of Core, and to the sons of Merari.
20 Abale awo Alevi, motsogozedwa ndi Ahiya, anali oyangʼanira chuma cha nyumba ya Mulungu ndi zinthu zoperekedwa kwa Mulungu.
And the Levites their brethren [were] over the treasures of the house of the Lord, and over the treasures of the hallowed things.
21 Adzukulu a Ladani, mmodzi mwa ana a Geresoni, amene anali atsogoleri a mabanja a Ageresoni, anali awa: Yehieli,
These [were] the sons of Ladan, the sons of the Gersonite: to Ladan [belonged] the heads of the families: [the son] of Ladan the Gersonite [was] Jeiel.
22 ana a Yehieli, Zetamu ndi mʼbale wake Yoweli. Iwo amayangʼanira chuma cha ku Nyumba ya Mulungu wa Yehova.
The sons of Jeiel [were] Zethom, and Joel; brethren [who were] over the treasures of the house of the Lord.
23 Kuchokera ku banja la Amramu, banja la Aizihara, banja la Ahebroni ndi banja la Auzieli:
To Ambram and Issaar belonged Chebron, and Oziel.
24 Subaeli, chidzukulu cha Geresomu, mwana wa Mose, anali mkulu woyangʼanira chuma.
And Subael the [son] of Gersam, the [son] of Moses, [was] over the treasures.
25 Abale ake obadwa mwa Eliezara, anali Rekabiya mwana wake, Yesaya mwana wake, Yoramu mwana wake, Zikiri mwana wake ndi Selomiti mwana wake.
And Rabias [was] son to his brother Eliezer, and [so was] Josias, and Joram, and Zechri, and Salomoth.
26 Selomiti ndi abale ake amayangʼanira zinthu zonse zoperekedwa kwa Mulungu ndi mfumu Davide, atsogoleri a mabanja amene anali olamulira ankhondo 1,000, olamulira ankhondo 100, ndi olamulira ankhondo ena.
This Salomoth and his brethren [were] over all the sacred treasures, which David the king and the heads of families consecrated, [and] the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, and princes of the host,
27 Zina zofunkha ku nkhondo anazipereka kuti zikhale zokonzera Nyumba ya Yehova.
things which he took out of cities and from the spoils, and consecrated some of them, so that the building of the house of God should not want [supplies];
28 Ndipo zonse zimene zinaperekedwa ndi Mlosi Samueli, Sauli mwana wa Kisi, Abineri mwana wa Neri ndiponso Yowabu mwana wa Zeruya ndi zinthu zonse zimene zinkaperekedwa zimasungidwa ndi Selomiti ndi abale ake.
and over all the holy things of God dedicated by Samuel the prophet, and Saul the son of Kis, and Abenner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Saruia, whatsoever they sanctified [was] by the hand of Salomoth and his brethren.
29 Kuchokera ku banja la Izihari: Kenaniya ndi ana ake anapatsidwa ntchito kutali ndi Nyumba ya Mulungu ngati akuluakulu ndi oweruza Israeli.
For the Issaarites, Chonenia, and [his] sons [were over] the outward ministration over Israel, to record and to judge.
30 Kuchokera ku banja la Ahebroni: Hasabiya ndi abale ake, anthu anzeru 1,700. Iwo ankayangʼanira ntchito zonse za Yehova ndi ntchito yonse ya mfumu cha kumadzulo kwa Yorodani.
For the Chebronites, Asabias and his brethren, a thousand and seven hundred mighty men, [were] over the charge of Israel beyond Jordan westward, for all the service of the Lord and work of the king.
31 Pa banja la Ahebroni, Yeriya anali mtsogoleri monga mwa mbiri ya mibado ya mabanja awo. Mʼchaka cha 40 cha ufumu wa Davide, panachitika kafukufuku ndipo ena mwa anthu aluso a banja la Hebroni anapezeka kuti anali ku Yazeri ku Giliyadi.
Of the [family] of Chebron Urias [was] chief, even of the Chebronites according to their generations, according to their families. In the fortieth year of his reign they were numbered, and there were found mighty men among them in Jazer of Galaad.
32 Yeriya anali ndi abale 2,700 amene anali aluso ndiponso atsogoleri a mabanja. Mfumu Davide anawayika iwowa kuti aziyangʼanira fuko la Rubeni, fuko la Gadi ndi theka la fuko la Manase pa zinthu zonse za Mulungu ndi za mfumu.
And his brethren [were] two thousand seven hundred mighty men, chiefs of their families, and king David set them over the Rubenites, and the Gaddites, and the half-tribe of Manasse, for every ordinance of the Lord, and business of the king.
