1 Davide atadzimangira nyumba zina mu Mzinda wa Davide, iye anakonza malo a Bokosi la Mulungu ndipo analimangira tenti.
And he made for himself houses in [the] city of David and he prepared a place for [the] ark of God and he pitched for it a tent.
2 Pamenepo Davide anati, “Palibe wina ati anyamule Bokosi la Mulungu koma Alevi chifukwa Yehova anawasankha kuti azinyamula Bokosi la Yehova ndi kumatumikira pamaso pake nthawi zonse.”
Then he said David not to carry [the] ark of God that except the Levites for them - he had chosen Yahweh to carry [the] ark of Yahweh and to serve him until perpetuity.
3 Davide anasonkhanitsa Aisraeli onse mu Yerusalemu kuti abweretse Bokosi la Yehova ku malo amene analikonzera.
And he assembled David all Israel to Jerusalem to bring up [the] ark of Yahweh to place its which he had prepared for it.
4 Iye anayitanitsa pamodzi zidzukulu za Aaroni ndi Alevi:
And he gathered David [the] descendants of Aaron and the Levites.
5 kuchokera ku banja la Kohati, mtsogoleri Urieli ndi abale ake 120.
Of [the] descendants of Kohath Uriel the leader and relatives his one hundred and twenty.
6 Kuchokera ku banja la Merari, mtsogoleri Asaya ndi abale ake 220;
Of [the] descendants of Merari Asaiah the leader and relatives his two hundred and twenty.
7 kuchokera ku banja la Geresomu, mtsogoleri Yoweli ndi abale ake 130;
Of [the] descendants of Gershom Joel the leader and relatives his one hundred and thirty.
8 kuchokera ku banja la Elizafani, mtsogoleri Semaya ndi abale ake 200;
Of [the] descendants of Elizaphan Shemaiah the leader and relatives his two hundred.
9 kuchokera ku banja la Hebroni, mtsogoleri Elieli ndi abale ake 80;
Of [the] descendants of Hebron Eliel the leader and relatives his eighty.
10 kuchokera ku banja la Uzieli, mtsogoleri Aminadabu ndi abale ake 112.
Of [the] descendants of Uzziel Amminadab the leader and relatives his one hundred and two [plus] ten.
11 Kenaka Davide anayitanitsa ansembe Zadoki ndi Abiatara, ndi Alevi awa, Urieli, Asaya, Yoweli, Semaya, Elieli ndi Aminadabu.
And he summoned David Zadok and Abiathar the priests and the Levites Uriel Asaiah and Joel Shemaiah and Eliel and Amminadab.
12 Iye anawawuza kuti, “Inu ndinu atsogoleri a mabanja a Alevi ndipo inu ndi abale anu Alevi mudziyeretse nokha ndi kubweretsa Bokosi la Yehova Mulungu wa Israeli ku malo amene ine ndalikonzera.
And he said to them you [are] [the] chiefs of the fathers of the Levites consecrate yourselves you and relatives your and you will bring up [the] ark of Yahweh [the] God of Israel to [where] I have prepared for it.
13 Popeza kuti inu Alevi simunalinyamule poyamba paja, Yehova Mulungu wathu anatikantha. Sitinafunse momwe tikanachitira monga mmene Iyeyo anafotokozera.”
For to what? at the first [time] not you he burst out Yahweh God our against us for not we sought him according to the ordinance.
14 Kotero ansembe ndi Alevi anadziyeretsa ndi cholinga chakuti akatenge Bokosi la Yehova Mulungu wa Israeli.
And they consecrated themselves the priests and the Levites to bring up [the] ark of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
15 Ndipo Alevi ananyamula Bokosi la Mulungu pa mapewa awo pa mitengo yake yonyamulira monga momwe Mose analamulira molingana ndi mawu a Yehova.
And they carried [the] descendants of the Levites [the] ark of God just as he had commanded Moses according to [the] word of Yahweh on shoulders their with poles on them.
16 Davide anawuza atsogoleri a Alevi kuti asankhe abale awo kuti akhale oyimba nyimbo zachisangalalo, zoyimba ndi zida: azeze, apangwe ndi ziwaya za malipenga.
And he said David to [the] leaders of the Levites to appoint relatives their the singers with instruments of song lyres and harps and cymbals sounding aloud to raise a sound of joy.
17 Kotero Alevi anasankha Hemani mwana wa Yoweli; ndipo mwa abale ake anasankha Asafu mwana wa Berekiya; ndipo mwa ana a Merari, abale awo, anasankha Etani mwana wa Kusaya;
And they appointed the Levites Heman [the] son of Joel and of relatives his Asaph [the] son of Berekiah. And of [the] descendants of Merari relatives their Ethan [the] son of Kushaiah.
18 ndipo pamodzi ndi iwowa abale awo otsatana nawo: Zekariya, Yaazieli, Semiramoti, Yehieli, Uni, Eliabu, Benaya, Maaseya, Matitiya, Elifelehu, Mikineya, Obedi-Edomu ndi Yeiyeli, alonda a pa chipata.
And with them relatives their the second in rank Zechariah Ben and Jaaziel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel - and Unni Eliab and Benaiah and Maaseiah and Mattithiah and Eliphelehu and Mikneiah and Obed-Edom and Jeiel the gatekeepers.
19 Anthu oyimba aja Hemani, Asafu ndi Etani ndiwo ankayimba ziwaya za malipenga zamkuwa;
And the singers Heman Asaph and Ethan with cymbals bronze [were] to sound aloud.
20 Zekariya, Azieli, Semiramoti, Yehieli, Uni, Eliabu, Maaseya ndi Benaya ankayimba azeze a liwu lokwera;
And Zechariah and Aziel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel and Unni and Eliab and Maaseiah and Benaiah with lyres on alamoth.
21 ndipo Matitiya, Elifelehu, Mikineya, Obedi-Edomu, Yeiyeli ndi Azaziya ankayimba apangwe a liwu lotsika.
And Mattithiah and Eliphelehu and Mikneiah and Obed-Edom and Jeiel and Azaziah with harps on the sheminith to act as overseers.
22 Kenaniya, mtsogoleri wa Alevi anali woyangʼanira mayimbidwe; uwu ndiye unali udindo wake pakuti anali waluso pa zimenezi.
And Kenaniah [the] leader of the Levites in a lifting up an instructor in the lifting up for [was] a teacher he.
23 Berekiya ndi Elikana anali olondera pa khomo la bokosilo.
And Berekiah and Elkanah [were] gatekeepers for the ark.
24 Ansembe awa; Sebaniya, Yehosafati, Netaneli, Amasai, Zekariya, Benaya ndi Eliezara ndiwo ankayimba malipenga patsogolo pa Bokosi la Mulungu. Obedi-Edomu ndi Yehiya analinso alonda a pa khomo la bokosilo.
And Shebaniah and Joshaphat and Nethanel and Amasai and Zechariah and Benaiah and Eliezer the priests ([were] blowing a trumpet *Q(k)*) on trumpets before [the] ark of God and Obed-Edom and Jehiah [were] gatekeepers for the ark.
25 Choncho Davide pamodzi ndi akuluakulu a Israeli ndiponso asilikali olamulira magulu a anthu 1,000, anapita kukatenga Bokosi la Chipangano la Yehova ku nyumba ya Obedi-Edomu akukondwera.
And it was David and [the] elders of Israel and [the] leaders of the thousands [were] the [ones who] went to bring up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh from [the] house of Obed-Edom with joy.
26 Popeza Mulungu anathandiza Alevi amene ananyamula Bokosi la Chipangano la Yehova, anapereka nsembe ngʼombe zazimuna zisanu ndi ziwiri ndiponso nkhosa zazimuna zisanu ndi ziwiri.
And it was because helped God the Levites [the] bearers of [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and they sacrificed seven young bulls and seven rams.
27 Ndipo Davide anali atavala mkanjo wa nsalu yofewa yosalala, monga anavalira Alevi onse amene ananyamula bokosi pamodzi anthu oyimba, ndiponso Kenaniya, amene anali woyangʼanira magulu oyimba. Davide anavalanso efodi ya nsalu yofewa yosalala.
And David [was] wrapped - in a robe of fine linen and all the Levites who were carrying the ark and the singers and Kenaniah the leader the lifting up the singers and [was] on David an ephod of linen.
28 Kotero Aisraeli onse anabweretsa Bokosi la Chipangano la Yehova ndi mfuwu, ndiponso akuyimba zitoliro zanyanga zankhosa zazimuna, malipenga ndi maseche ndiponso akuyimba azeze ndi apangwe.
And all Israel [was] bringing up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh with a shout and with [the] sound of a ram's horn and with trumpets and with cymbals sounding aloud with lyres and harps.
29 Bokosi la Chipangano la Yehova likulowa mu Mzinda wa Davide, Mikala mwana wamkazi wa Sauli ankaona ali pa zenera. Ndipo ataona Mfumu Davide ikuvina ndi kukondwera, iye ananyoza Davideyo mu mtima mwake.
And it was [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh [was] coming to [the] city of David and Michal [the] daughter of Saul she looked down - through the window and she saw the king David dancing and making merry and she despised him in heart her.
