Y Checho Y Apostoles Sija 13

1 YA estaba güije gui ilesia guiya Antioquia, profeta sija yan maestro, sija: Barnabé, yan si Simeon ni y mafanaan Niger, yan si Lucio, taotao Sirene, yan si Manaen, ni y chamapogsae yan Herodes tetrarca, yan si Saulo.

NOW there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

2 Ya mientras sija sumesetbe y Señot, yan manayuyunat, y Espiritu Santo ilegña: Abatta guiya guajo Barnabé yan Saulo para y checho anae guinin juagange sija.

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

3 Ayonae anae esta manayunat yan manmanayuyut yan japolo y canaeñija gui jilo ayo sija, jatago sija na ufanjanao.

And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

4 Ya manmatago sija pot y Espiritu Santo, ya manunog para Seleusia; ya desde ayo mumamaya para Chipre.

So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

5 Ya anae mangaegue gui Salamina, japredica y sinangan Yuus gui sinagogan y Judiosija: ya mañisijaja locue yan si Juan ni y sumesetbe sija.

And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.

6 Ya anae jajanagüe todo inanaco y isla asta Pafo, jasoda un taotao na cacana, fatso na profeta, Judio, na y naanña si Bar-Jesus:

And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus:

7 Ni y estaba yan y magalajen y tano, si Sergio Paulo, gaetiningo na taotao; ya jaaagang si Barnabé yan Saulo, sa malago na ujungog y sinangan Yuus.

Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

8 Lao manquinentra as Elymas, taotao na cacana (taegüine nae comequilegña y naanña), jaaliligao na unamabira guinin jinenggue y magalaje.

But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

9 Ayonae si Saulo ni y naanña locue Pablo, bula ni y Espiritu Santo, inaatanja güe,

Then Saul, (who also is called Paul, ) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,

10 Ya ilegña: O bula jao todo dinague, yan tinaelaye, jago lajin anite, jago enemigun todo y tininas, ada ti pumapara jao unnataelaye y tinas na chalan y Señot?

And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

11 Ya pago estagüiya y canae y Señot gui jilomo, ya unbachet ya ti unlie y atdao pot un tiempo. Ya enseguidas podong gui jiloña y nublado ya jomjom, ya jumanao manaligao jaye uminantiene y canaeña para uinesgaejongüe.

And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

12 Ya anae jalie y magalaje jafa y mafatinas, jajonggue ya ninasenmanman ni y finanagüen y Señot.

Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

13 Ya anae si Pablo yan y mangachongña jadingo Pafo, ya mumamaya ya manmato Petga guiya Pamfilia, ya si Juan jumanao guiya sija ya tumalo guato Jerusalem.

Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.

14 Lao sija manmalofan inanaco guinin Petga, manmato Antioquia guiya Pisidia; ya manjalom gui sinagoga gui sabado na jaane ya manmatachong.

But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

15 Ya anae munjayan jataetae y lay yan y profeta sija, y magas y sinagoga ninafamnaagange sija ilegñija: Jamyo mañelo, yaguin guaja jafa na finijo para insangane y taotao sija, sangan.

And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

16 Ayonae si Pablo tumojgue julo ya mañeñas ni y canaeña, ilegña: Taotao Israel, yan jamyo ni y manmaañao as Yuus, ecungog.

Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.

17 Y Yuus este na taotao iya Israel, jaayeg y mañaenata, yan jajatsa y taotao sija anae mañasaga taegüije y taotao juyong guiya Egipto, ya ni y taquilo na canaeña jacone sija juyong güije.

The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.

18 Ya y cuarenta años ni tiempo, jasungon ni y costumbreñija gui jalomtano.

And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.

19 Ya guinin mujayan jayulang siete na nasion gui tano Cananea, ya japatte y tanoñija guiya sija para y erensiañija nae mañasaga, como cuatro siento y sincuenta años;

And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.

20 Ya despues di ayo sija, manninae sija jues sija asta qui mato y profeta Samuel.

And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.

21 Ya despues manmalago ray: ya manninae as Yuus as Saulo lajin Sis, un taotao gui tribon Benjamin para cuarenta años.

And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.

22 Yaanae jarechasa si Saulo, janacajulo guiya sija si David para rayñija. Sa si Yuus numae güe locue testimonio, ilegña: Guajo jusoda si David lajin Isai, un taotao na parejoja yan y corasonjo, ya güiya ucumple todo y malagojo.

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

23 Ya y semiyan este na taotao nae, unacajulo si Yuus guiya Israel y Satbadot Jesus jaftaemanoja y promesa:

Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

24 Ya si Juan finena prumedica, antes di y finatoña, y tinagpangen sinetsot para todo y taotao guiya Israel.

When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

25 Ya anae jacumple si Juan y chechoña, ilegña: Jayeyo jinasonmimiyo? Ti guajo güe. Lao estagüe na mamamaela uno gui tateco, na ni y sapatos gui adengña ti dignoyo na jupula.

And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.

26 Mañelo lalaje, fumaguon y rasan Abraham, yan jayeja guiya jamyo y maañao as Yuus, sa para jamyo na matago y sinangan este na satbasion.

Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

27 Pot ayo sija y mañasaga Jerusalem, yan y magasñija sa ti matungo si Yuus, ni y sinangan y profeta ni y jatataetaeja cada sabado, anae masentensia güe jacumple sija.

For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

28 Ya achogja ti jasoda sija jafa na causa guiya güiya na umapuno, lao magagao si Pilatos na umapuno.

And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.

29 Ya anae macumple todo ayo y esta matugue pot güiya, machule papa guinin y jayo, ya mapolo gui jalom y naftan.

And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.

30 Lao si Yuus munacajulo guinen y manmatae:

But God raised him from the dead:

31 Ya malie megae na jaane ni ayo sija y mangachochongña mangajulo guinin Galilea para Jerusalem, ni y pago testiguña sija gui taotao.

And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

32 Ya jame chumule guiya jamyo y mauleg na notisia, ni ayo na promesa y mafatinas gui mañaena,

And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

33 Jaftaemano si Yuus cumunple guiya jita, ni y famaguonñija, sa ayonae janacajulo si Jesus talo; taegüije locue y esta matugue gui mina dos gui Salmos: Jago y Lajijo ya pago na jaane nae julilis jao.

God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

34 Ya ninacajulo guinin y manmatae, ya pago ti utalo guato gui minitong guinin jasangan taegüine: Guajo junae jao ni y santos yan magajet na bendisjon David.

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

35 Enaomina ilegña locue y otro Salmo: Na chamo pumopolo y Santosmo na ulie y minitong.

Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

36 Sa si David anae munjayan jasetbe y generasionña pot y pinagat Yuus, maego ya mapolo manafandaña yan y mañaenaña, ya jalie y minitong.

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

37 Lao ayo y ninacajulo as Yuus talo ti jalie minitong.

But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

38 Ya umatungo guiya jamyo mañelo lalaje, na pot este na taotao na mapredidica guiya jamyo y inasiin y isao:

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

39 Ya pot güiya na todo ayo y jumonggue manunas ni todo y güinaja, sa ti siña jamyo manunas, pot y lay Moises.

And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

40 Adaje na nosea ufato guiya jamyo, y masangan gui profeta sija;

Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

41 Estagüe, jamyo ni y manmañatlilie, yan infanmanman, yan infanmalingo. Sa machochochoyo ni y checho y jaanemniyo, ayo na chocho y ti injengue, ni jaye na taotao unaclaro guiya jamyo.

Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

42 Ya anae manjuyong gui sinagoga, jagagao na umapredica este na sinangan guiya sija gui siguiente sabado.

And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

43 Ya anae manadingo y inetnon gui sinagoga, megae na Judios yan y deboto na proselito sija dumalalag si Pablo yan Barnabé; ni y sumangangane siga yan jaeepogna ufañaga gui grasian Yuus.

Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

44 Ya y siguiente sabado canaja todo y taotao y siuda mandaña para ujajungog y sinangan Yuus.

And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

45 Lao anae jalie y Judios y linajyan taotao, manbula linatga, ya manguentos contra ayo y sinangan Pablo ya jachatfino contra si Yuus.

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

46 Ayonae si Pablo yan Barnabé jausa y minatatngañija, ilegñija: Nesesita ayo y sinangan Yuus ni y esta manmasangane jamyo finena, lao pot innasuja guiya jamyo, injisganmaesa jamyo na ti dignojamyo y taejinecog na linâlâ, ya estagüe na tabirajit para y Gentiles. (aiōnios g166)

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. (aiōnios g166)

47 Sa taegüenao tinagoña si Yuus nu jita, ilegña: Jupolo jamyo para candet y Gentiles, na jamyo siña para satbasion asta y uttimon patte y tano.

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

48 Ya anae jajungog este y Gentiles, ninafansenmagof, ya maalaba y sinangan Yuus: ya megae manmanjonggue ni ayo sija y manmatancho para y taejinecog na linâlâ. (aiōnios g166)

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. (aiōnios g166)

49 Ya machalapon y sinangan Yuus todo güije na tano.

And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

50 Lao y Judio sija, janafangalamten y mandebota yan y manonra na famalaoan, yan y manmagas na taotao sija gui siuda, ya janafangajulo pinetsigue contra si Pablo yan Barnabé, ya janafanmayute juyong gui tanoñija.

But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.

51 Lao sija, jasacude y petbos gui adengñija contra sija, ya manjanao para Iconio.

But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.

52 Ya y disipulo sija, manbula minagof yan y Espiritu Santo.

And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
