Mga Salmo 74
1 Oh Dios, ngano nga gisalikway mo kami sa walay katapusan? Ngano ba nga nag-aso ang imong kapungot batok sa mga carnero sa imong sibsibanan?
“A Maskil of Assaph.” Why, O God, hast thou cast us off for ever? why will thy anger smoke against the flock of thy pasture?
2 Hinumdumi ang imong katilingban nga imong nasapol sa kakaraanan, Nga imong gitubos aron mahimo nga banay sa panulondon mo; Ug niining bukid sa Sion, nga imong ginapuy-an.
Remember thy congregation, which thou didst acquire of old; which thou didst redeem as the tribe of thy inheritance: this mount Zion, whereon thou hast dwelt.
3 Sakwata ang imong mga tiil ngadto sa mga pagkalaglag nga walay katapusan, Sa tanang mga kadautan nga gibuhat sa kaaway didto sa balaang puloy-anan.
Lift up thy steps unto the perpetual heaps of ruins: the enemy hath ill-used every thing in the sanctuary.
4 Ang imong mga kabatok nanagngulob diha sa kinataliwad-an sa imong katigumanan; Gibutang nila ang ilang mga bandila aron mahimong mga ilhanan.
Thy adversaries have roared in the midst of thy places of assembly: they have set up their signs for signs.
5 (Sila) nanag-ingon sa mga tawo nga nanagpahitaas Mga wasay sa ibabaw sa usa ka masiut nga kakahoyan.
[The enemy] is known as one that lifteth up high axes against the thickets of a forest.
6 Ug karon ang tanang mga buhat nga kinulit niana Ilang gipanagdugmok uban sa wasay ug sa mga pakang.
And now they hew in pieces the carved work thereof altogether with hatchets and hammers.
7 Ilang gisunog sa kalayo ang imong balaang puloy-anan; Ilang gipasipalahan ang dapit-nga-puloy-anan sa imong ngalan pinaagi sa pagpukan niini ngadto sa yuta.
They have set on fire thy sanctuary; to the ground have they profaned the dwelling-place of thy name.
8 Nanag-ingon (sila) sa ilang kasing-kasing: Pagalaglagon nato (sila) sa tingub: Gisunog nila ang tanang mga sinagoga sa Dios nga didto sa yuta.
They have said in their heart, We will oppress them altogether: they have burnt up all the places of assembly of God in the land.
9 Wala nato makita ang atong mga ilhanan: Wala nay usa nga manalagna; Ni may mausa sa taliwala nato nga nahibalo hangtud anus-a.
Our signs do we not see: there is no more any prophet: and there is no one among us that knoweth how long.
10 Hangtud ba anus-a, Oh Dios, nga ang kabatok magatamay? Magapasipala ba ang kaaway sa imong ngalan sa walay katapusan?
How long, O God, shall the adversary utter defiance? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
11 Ngano ba nga gitagoan mo ang imong kamot, bisan ang too mong kamot? Laksi-a kini gikan sa imong sabakan ug ut-uta (sila)
Why withdrawest thou thy hand, and thy right hand? [draw it] out of thy bosom—exterminate [them];
12 Bisan pa ang Dios mao ang akong Hari sa kakaraanan, Nagabuhat ug kaluwasan diha sa kinataliwad-an sa yuta.
Since [thou] God art my King from olden days, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
13 Imong gibahin ang dagat pinaagi sa imong kusog: Imong gidugmok ang mga ulo sa mga mananap sa mga tubig.
It was thou that didst divide by thy strength the sea: thou brokest in pieces the heads of the crocodiles on the waters.
14 Gidugmok mo ang mga ulo sa leviathan; Imong gihatag siya nga kalan-on sa katawohan nga nanagpuyo sa kamingawan
Thou didst crush the heads of leviathan, and gavest them as food to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
15 Imong gipabuswak ang tinubdan ug ang baha: Gipauga mo ang mga suba nga mabaskug.
Thou didst cleave fountain and stream: thou didst dry up ever-flowing rivers.
16 Imo ang adlaw ug imo usab ang gabii: Imong giandam ang kahayag ug ang adlaw.
Thine is the day and thine is the night: it is thou who hast prepared the luminary and the sun.
17 Gipahamutang mo ang tanang mga utlanan sa yuta: Ang panahon sa ting-init ug katugnaw gibuhat mo.
It is thou who hast set up all the boundaries of the earth: summer and winter—thou thyself hast formed them.
18 Hinumdumi kini, nga ang kaaway nagpakaulaw, Oh Jehova, Ug nga ang buangbuang nga katawohan nagpasipala sa imong ngalan.
Remember this, that the enemy hath defied the Lord, and that a worthless foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
19 Oh ayaw itugyan sa mga mananap nga ihalas ang kalag sa imong tukmo: Ayaw hikalimti ang kinabuhi sa imong mga kabus sa walay katapusan.
Oh give not up unto the multitude of enemies the soul of thy turtle-dove: the congregation of thy afflicted do not thou forget for ever.
20 Tahuron mo ang tugon; Kay ang mga dapit nga mangitngit sa yuta napuno sa mga puloy-anan sa pagpanlupig.
Look unto the covenant; for the dark places of the earth are full of habitations of violence.
21 Oh dili mo itugot nga ang gidaug-daug magabalik sa kaulawan: Papagdayega ang mga kabus ug ang mga hangul sa imong ngalan.
Oh let not the oppressed return confounded: let the poor and needy praise thy name.
22 Tumindog ka, Oh Dios, labani ang imong kaugalingong katungod: Hinumdumi giunsa sa buangbuang nga tawo ang pagtamay kanimo sa tibook nga adlaw.
Arise, O God, plead thy own cause: remember thy defiance from the worthless fool all the day.
23 Ayaw hikalimti ang tingog sa imong mga kabatok: Ang kasaba niadtong mga mingtindog batok kanimo nagasaka sa kanunay.
Forget not the voice of thy adversaries: the tumult of those that rise up against thee ascendeth continually.
