Mga Salmo 64
1 Patalinghugi ang akong tingog, Oh Dios, sa akong pangamuyo: Bantayi ang akong kinabuhi gikan sa kahadlok sa kaaway.
God, listen to me as I tell you the things that I am worried about. I am afraid of my enemies; so save/rescue me from them.
2 Tagoa ako gikan sa tambag nga tinago sa mga mamumuhat sa kadautan, Gikan sa kagubot sa mga mamumuhat sa kasal-anan;
Protect me from what wicked men are planning to do to me; protect me from that gang of men who do what is evil.
3 Nga nagbaid sa ilang dila sama sa usa ka espada, Ug nagtion sa ilang mga pana, bisan sa mga pulong nga mapait,
The hostile things they say [MTY] are like [SIM] [sharp] swords; their cruel words are like [SIM] arrows.
4 Aron makapana (sila) sa mga hingpit diha sa awa-aw nga mga dapit: Sa kalit (sila) mopana kaniya, ug (sila) dili mahadlok.
Without being afraid, they [lie about people and slander people] who have not done what is wrong, like someone who suddenly jumps up from where he is hiding and shoots [arrows] at his enemy [MET].
5 Nanagdasig (sila) sa ilang kaugalingon sa usa ka dautan nga tuyo; Nanagsabut (sila) sa pagbutang ug mga lit-ag sa tago; Ug (sila) moingon: Kinsa man ang makakita kanila?
They encourage each other about doing the evil things that they are planning to do; they talk [with each other] about where they can set traps to catch people, and they think, “No one [RHQ] will see what we are doing,
6 Nanagpangita (sila) sa mga kadautan; Nakatuman kami, (sila) nanag-ingon, sa usa ka masingkamoton nga pagsusi: Ug ang hunahuna sa sulod, ug ang kasingkasing sa tagsatagsa halalum.
because we have planned very well the crime that we are going to commit!” No one can fully understand what people can think and plan!
7 Apan ang Dios magapana kanila; Sa usa ka udyong gilayon pagasamaran (sila)
But [it will be as though] God will shoot his arrows at them, and suddenly they will be wounded.
8 Sa ingon niini, (sila) mahisukamod, ang ilang kaugalingong dila mobatok kanila: Ang tanan nga makakita kanila magalingo-lingo sa ulo.
Because of what they say [MTY], he will get rid of them, and then everyone who sees [what has happened to] them will shake their heads [to ridicule them].
9 Ug ang tanang mga tawo mangahadlok; Ug (sila) magamantala sa buhat sa Dios, Ug sa pagkamanggialamon magapalandong (sila) sa iyang buhat.
And then everyone will be afraid [to sin because of what might happen to them, also]; they will tell others what God has done, and they themselves will think much about it.
10 Magakalipay ang mga matarung diha kang Jehova, ug modangup diha kaniya; Ug magahimaya ang tanang mga matul-id sa kasingkasing.
Righteous people should rejoice because of what Yahweh [has done]; they should go to him to (find protection/be safe); and all those who are godly will praise him.
