Mga Salmo 60
1 Oh Dios, ikaw nagsalikway kanamo, ikaw nagbungkag kanamo; Ikaw naligutgut; oh ipahauli mo kami pag-usab.
“For the leader of the music; upon the Shushan-Eduth; a psalm of David for instruction; when he was at strife with the Syrians of Mesopotamia, and the Syrians of Zoba; when Joab returned, and smote twelve thousand Edomites in the valley of Salt.” O God! thou hast forsaken us; thou hast broken us in pieces; Thou hast been angry! O revive us again!
2 Ginapalinog mo ang yuta; ginagisi mo kini: Ayoha ang mga nangatumpag niini; kay nagakurog siya.
Thou hast made the land tremble; thou hast rent it; O heal its breaches, for it tottereth!
3 Gipakita mo ang imong katawohan sa mga malisud nga butang: Gipainum mo kami sa ilimnon nga makapasapinday.
Thou hast caused thy people to see hard things; Thou hast made us drink the wine of reeling.
4 Nagahatag ikaw ug bandila niadtong mga nangahadlok kanimo, Aron ilang pakayabon kini tungod sa kamatuoran. (Selah)
Lift up a banner for them that fear thee, For the sake of thy faithfulness, that they may escape!
5 Aron maluwas ang imong mga hinigugma, Luwasa pinaagi sa imong toong kamot, ug tubaga kami.
That thy beloved may be delivered, Save with thy right hand, and answer me!
6 Ang Dios nagapamulong diha sa iyang pagkabalaan: Ako magakalipay; Pagabahinon ko ang Sichem, ug magasukod ako sa walog sa Succoth.
God promiseth in his holiness; I will rejoice; I shall yet divide Shechem, And measure out the valley of Succoth.
7 Ang Galaad ako man, ug ang Manases ako man; Ang Ephraim usab mao ang panalipod sa akong ulo; Ang Juda mao ang akong maghahatag sa balaod.
Gilead shall be mine, and mine Manasseh; Ephraim shall be my helmet, And Judah my sceptre;
8 Ang Moab mao ang akong dolang nga hunawanan; Sa ibabaw sa Edom isalibay ko ang akong sapin: Filistia, suminggit ka tungod kanako.
Moab shall be my wash-bowl; Upon Edom shall I cast my shoe; I shall triumph over Philistia!
9 Kinsa ba ang magadala kanako ngadto sa ciudad nga malig-on? Kinsa ba ang nagmando kanako ngadto sa Edom?
Who will bring me to the strong city? Who will lead me into Edom?
10 Wala ba ikaw, Oh Dios, magsalikway kanamo? Ug ikaw, Oh Dios, wala umoban sa among mga kasundalohan.
Wilt not thou, O God! who didst forsake us, And didst not go forth with our armies?
11 Hatagi kami ug tabang batok sa kaaway; Kay kawang lamang ang tabang sa tawo.
Give us thine aid in our distress, For vain is the help of man!
12 Pinaagi sa Dios magabuhat kita sa kaisug gayud; Kay siya mao man ang magatunob sa atong mga kabatok.
Through God we shall do valiantly; For he will tread down our enemies.
