Mga Salmo 59
1 Luwasa ako gikan sa akong mga kaaway, Oh Dios ko: Ibutang mo ako sa itaas gikan kanila nga ming-alsa batok kanako.
Deliver me from my enemies, O my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me.
2 Luwasa ako gikan sa mga mamumuhat sa kasal-anan, Ug luwasa ako gikan sa mga tawo nga giuhaw sa dugo.
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from the bloodthirsty men.
3 Kay, ania karon, (sila) nanagbanhig alang sa akong kalag; Ang mga kusgan nanagtigum sa ilang kaugalingon batok kanako: Dili tungod sa akong kalapasan, dili tungod sa akong sala, Oh Jehova.
For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Jehovah.
4 Nanagdalagan ug nanag-andam (sila) sa dili ko sala: Pagmata ka sa pagtabang kanako, ug tan-awa.
They run and prepare themselves without my fault. Awake thou to help me, and behold.
5 Bisan ikaw, Oh Jehova, Dios sa mga panon, ang Dios sa Israel, Bumangon ka sa pagdu-aw sa tanang mga nasud: Ayaw pagkalooy sa mga dautang mga malapason. (Selah)
Even thou, O Jehovah God of hosts, the God of Israel, arise to visit all the nations. Be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. (Selah)
6 Mopauli (sila) sa kagabhion, (sila) manag-uwang sama sa usa ka iro, Ug magasuroy-suroy sa ciudad.
They return at evening. They howl like a dog, and go round about the city.
7 Ania karon, magabugwak (sila) ug panamastamas sa ilang baba; Mga espada anaa sa ilang mga ngabil: Kay kinsa; nagaingon (sila) ang magapatalinghug?
Behold, they belch out with their mouth. Swords are in their lips, for they say, Who hears?
8 Apan ikaw, Oh Jehova, magakatawa kanila; Himoon nimong kataw-anan ang tanang mga nasud.
But thou, O Jehovah, will laugh at them. Thou will have all the nations in derision.
9 Tungod sa iyang kusog mamati ako kanimo; Kay ang Dios mao ang akong torre nga hataas.
O my strength, I will give heed to thee, for God is my high tower.
10 Ang akong Dios uban sa iyang mahigugmaong-kalolot mosugat kanako: Ang Dios magapakita kanako sa akong tinguha sa ibabaw sa akong mga kaaway.
My God with his loving kindness will meet me. God will let me look upon my enemies.
11 Dili mo (sila) pagpatyon, tingali unya malimot ang akong katawohan: Papatlaaga (sila) pinaagi sa imong gahum, ug ipaubos mo (sila) Oh Ginoo nga among taming.
Kill them not, lest my people forget. Scatter them by thy power, and bring them down, O Lord our shield,
12 Tungod sa sala sa ilang baba, ug sa pulong sa ilang mga ngabil, Ipadakup (sila) bisan sa ilang pagpalabilabi, Ug tungod sa panunglo ug kabakakan nga ilang ginapamulong.
for the sin of their mouth, and the words of their lips. Let them even be taken in their pride, and for cursing and lying which they speak.
13 Ut-uta (sila) diha sa kapungot, ut-uta (sila) aron mangawala na (sila) Ug pailha (sila) nga ang Dios nagamando kang Jacob, Ngadto sa mga kinatumyan sa yuta. (Selah)
Consume them in wrath, consume them, so that they shall be no more. And let them know that God rules in Jacob, to the ends of the earth. (Selah)
14 Ug sa kagabhion papaulia (sila) ug pauwanga (sila) sama sa usa ka iro, Ug magasuroy-suroy sa ciudad.
And at evening let them return, let them howl like a dog, and go round about the city.
15 Managsuroy (sila) ngadto-nganhi sa pagpangita ug makaon, Ug managpabilin (sila) sa tibook nga gabii kong (sila) dili mangatagbaw.
They shall wander up and down for food, and tarry all night if they be not satisfied.
16 Apan magaawit ako mahatungod sa imong kusog; Oo, magaawit ako sa makusog gayud mahatungod sa imong mahigugmaong-kalolot sa kabuntagon: Kay ikaw mao ang akong hataas nga torre, Ug usa ka dalangpanan sa adlaw sa akong kaguol.
But I will sing of thy strength. Yea, I will sing aloud of thy loving kindness in the morning. For thou have been my high tower, and a refuge in the day of my distress.
17 Alang kanimo, Oh akong kusog, magaawit ako ug mga pagdayeg: Kay ang Dios maoy akong hataas nga torre, ang Dios sa akong kalooy.
To thee, O my strength, I will sing praises. For God is my high tower, the God of my mercy.
