Mga Salmo 58
1 Magapakahilum ka ba lamang sa pagsulti sa pagkamatarung? Magahukom ba kamo sa matul-id gayud, Oh kamo nga mga anak sa mga tawo?
For the Leader; Al-tashheth. A Psalm of David; Michtam. Do ye indeed speak as a righteous company? Do ye judge with equity the sons of men?
2 Wala; sa sulod sa kasingkasing kamo nagabuhat ug kadautan; Ginatimbang ninyo ang kapintas sa inyong mga kamot diha sa yuta.
Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh out in the earth the violence of your hands.
3 Ang mga dautan gilain sukad pa sa tagoangkan: Nanghisalaag (sila) dayon diha sa ilang paghimugso, kabakakan ang ginasulti.
The wicked are estranged from the womb; the speakers of lies go astray as soon as they are born.
4 Ang ilang kalala maoy sama sa kalala sa usa ka bitin: Ingon (sila) sa sawa nga bungol nga nagasongsong sa iyang igdulungog,
Their venom is like the venom of a serpent; they are like the deaf asp that stoppeth her ear;
5 Nga wala magapatalinghug sa tingog sa mga maglalamat, Nga nagalamat sa wala pay ingon ka maalamon.
Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, or of the most cunning binder of spells.
6 Luboa ang ilang mga ngipon, Oh Dios, diha sa ilang mga baba: Dugmoka ang mga bag-ang sa mga gagmayng leon, Oh Jehova.
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth; break out the cheek-teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
7 Palanaya (sila) ingon sa tubig nga nagabaha sa matulin: Sa diha nga magati-on siya sa iyang pana, himoa nga ingon sa nangaputolputol (sila)
Let them melt away as water that runneth apace; when he aimeth his arrows, let them be as though they were cut off.
8 Himoa silang ingon sa usa ka hila-hila nga matunaw ug mahanaw, Sama sa usa ka babaye nga nakuhaan, nga wala makakita sa adlaw.
Let them be as a snail which melteth and passeth away; like the untimely births of a woman, that have not seen the sun.
9 Sa dili pa mobati ang inyong mga kolon sa mga tunok, Pagapapahaon niya (sila) pinaagi sa usa ka alimpulos, ang hilaw ug ang nagasiga nga managsama.
Before your pots can feel the thorns, He will sweep it away with a whirlwind, the raw and the burning alike.
10 Ang matarung magakalipay sa diha nga makita niya ang panimalus: Manghimitiis siya sa iyang mga tiil sa dugo sa mga dautan;
The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance; he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 Aron ang mga tawo manag-ingon: Sa pagkamatuod adunay balus alang sa mga matarung: Sa pagkamatuod adunay usa ka Dios nga magahukom dinhi sa yuta.
And men shall say: 'Verily there is a reward for the righteous; verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.'
