Mga Salmo 53

1 Ang buang miingon sa iyang kasingkasing: Walay Dios. Mga dunot (sila) ug nanagbuhat ug dulumtanang kasal-anan; Walay bisan kinsa nga nagabuhat ug maayo.

To the Chief Musician. On Mahalath. A Psalm of Instruction, of David. The impious hath said in his heart, There is no God! They have acted corruptly, They have wrought abominable perversity, There is none that doeth good: —

2 Ang Dios nagsud-ong gikan sa langit sa ibabaw sa mga anak sa mga tawo, Sa pagtan-aw kong aduna bay bisan kinsa nga nakasabut, Nga nangita sa Dios.

God, out of the heavens, looked down upon the sons of men, —To see whether there was one that showed wisdom, Enquiring after God.

3 Ang tagsatagsa kanila mitalikod; (sila) ngatanan nahimong mahugaw; Walay bisan usa nga nagabuhat ug maayo, wala, walay bisan mausa.

They all, have turned back, together have they become tainted, —There is none that doeth good, Not so much as, one!

4 Wala bay kahibalo ang mga mamumuhat sa kasal-anan, Nga nagalamoy sa akong katawohan ingon sa pagkaon nila sa tinapay, Ug wala (sila) mosangpit sa Dios?

Are the workers of iniquity, without knowledge? Devouring my people, [as] they devour food? Upon God, have they not called.

5 Didto (sila) sa mga dagkung kahadlok, diin walay kahadlokan; Kay ang Dios nagakatag sa mga bukog niya nga nagapahamutang batok kanimo: Ikaw nagapakaulaw kanila, tungod kay ang Dios nagasalikway kanila.

There have they been in great dread where no dread was, Because, God, hath scattered the bones of thy besieger, —Thou hast put [him] to shame, Because, God, had, rejected, them.

6 Oh nga ang kaluwasan sa Israel magagula unta gikan sa Sion! Sa diha nga magapapauli na ang Dios sa iyang katawohan gikan sa pagkabinihag, Unya si Jacob magakalipay, ug ang Israel magamaya.

Oh that, out of Zion, were granted the salvations of Israel! When God bringeth back the captives of his people, Jacob, shall exult, Israel, shall be glad.
