Mga Salmo 36
1 Ang kalapasan sa dautan nagaingon sulod sa akong kasingkasing: Walay kahadlok sa Dios sa atubangan sa iyang mga mata.
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid, the servant of the Lord. Wickedness sayeth to the wicked man, euen in mine heart, that there is no feare of God before his eyes.
2 Kay nagaulog-ulog siya sa iyang kaugalingon nga mga mata, Nga ang iyang kadautan dili hikaplagan ug dili pagadumtan.
For hee flattereth himselfe in his owne eyes, while his iniquitie is foud worthy to be hated.
3 Ang mga pulong sa iyang baba mao ang kasal-anan ug limbong: Mihunong siya sa pagkamasinabuton ug sa pagbuhat ug maayo.
The wordes of his mouth are iniquitie and deceit: hee hath left off to vnderstand and to doe good.
4 Sa iyang higdaanan nagalalang siya ug kadautan; Nagapahamutang siya sa usa ka dalan nga dili maayo; Ug sa dautan wala siya magadumot.
Hee imagineth mischiefe vpon his bed: he setteth himselfe vpon a way, that is not good, and doeth not abhorre euill.
5 Oh Jehova, ang imong mahigugmaong-kalolot anaa sa mga langit; Ang imong pagkamatinumanon nagaabut ngadto sa mga langit.
Thy mercy, O Lord, reacheth vnto the heauens, and thy faithfulnesse vnto the cloudes.
6 Ang imong pagkamatarung sama sa mga bukid sa Dios; Ang imong mga paghukom usa ka dakung kahiladman: Oh Jehova, sa tawo ug sa mananap ikaw nagabantay.
Thy righteousnesse is like the mightie moutaines: thy iudgements are like a great deepe: thou, Lord, doest saue man and beast.
7 Pagkabilihon sa imong mahigugmaong-kalolot, Oh Dios! Tungod niana ang mga anak sa mga tawo mingdangup sa ilalum sa landong sa imong mga pako.
How excellent is thy mercy, O God! therefore the children of men trust vnder the shadowe of thy wings.
8 (Sila) pagabusgon sa madagayaon gayud sa tambok sa imong balay; Ug ikaw magpainum kanila sa sapa sa imong mga kalipay.
They shall be satisfied with the fatnesse of thine house, and thou shalt giue them drinke out of the riuer of thy pleasures.
9 Kay kanimo anaa ang tuburan sa kinabuhi: Sa imong kahayag makakita kami ug kahayag.
For with thee is the well of life, and in thy light shall we see light.
10 Padayonon mo ang imong mahigugmaong-kalolot niadtong mga nakaila kanimo, Ug ang imong pagkamatarung niadtong mga matul-id sa kasingkasing.
Extend thy louing kindnes vnto them that knowe thee, and thy righteousnesse vnto them that are vpright in heart.
11 Ayaw itugot nga moabut batok kanako ang tiil sa palabilabi, Ug ang kamot sa dautan dili unta mohingilin kanako.
Let not ye foote of pride come against me, and let not the hand of ye wicked men moue me.
12 Didto ang mga mamumuhat sa kadautan nangapukan: Gipanukmod (sila) ug dili (sila) arang makatindog.
There they are fallen that worke iniquity: they are cast downe, and shall not be able to rise.
