Mga Salmo 34
1 Pagadayegon ko si Jehova sa tanang mga panahon: Ang pagdayeg kaniya magakanunay sa akong baba.
For David, when he changed his countenance before Achimelech, who dismissed him, and he went his way. I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall be always in my mouth.
2 Ang akong kalag magapangandak tungod kang Jehova: Managpatalinghug niini ang mga maaghup, ug managkalipay (sila)
In the Lord shall my soul be praised: let the meek hear and rejoice.
3 Oh padakuon ninyo si Jehova uban kanako, Ug usahan ta ang pagbayaw sa iyang ngalan.
O magnify the Lord with me; and let us extol his name together.
4 Gipangita ko si Jehova, ug gitubag niya ako, Ug giluwas niya ako gikan sa tanan ko nga mga kahadlok.
I sought the Lord, and he heard me; and he delivered me from all my troubles.
5 Nanagtutuk (sila) kaniya, ug gihayagan (sila) Ug ang ilang mga nawong dili gayud maulawan.
Come ye to him and be enlightened: and your faces shall not be confounded.
6 Kining kabus nga tawo nagtu-aw, ug gipatalinghugan siya ni Jehova, Ug giluwas siya gikan sa tanang mga kalisdanan niya.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him: and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 Ang manolonda ni Jehova magapahaluna sa paglibut sa mga nangahadlok kaniya, Ug magaluwas kanila.
The angel of the Lord shall encamp round about them that fear him: and shall deliver them.
8 Oh tilawi ug tan-awa ninyo nga si Jehova maayo: Bulahan ang tawo nga modangup kaniya.
O taste, and see that the Lord is sweet: blessed is the man that hopeth in him.
9 Pangahadlok kamo kang Jehova, Oh kamong mga balaan niya; Kay sa mga nangahadlok kaniya wala ing makulang.
Fear the Lord, all ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 Ang mga magagmay nga leon makulangan, ug nag-antus sa kagutom; Apan ang mga nagapangita kang Jehova dili makulangan sa bisan unsang butang nga maayo.
The rich have wanted, and have suffered hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not be deprived of any good.
11 Umari kamo, mga anak, patalinghug kamo kanako: Ang pagkahadlok kang Jehova igatudlo ko kaninyo.
Come, children, hearken to me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Kinsa ba ang tawo nga magatinguha ug kinabuhi, Ug mahagugma sa daghang mga adlaw, aron makita niya ang maayo?
Who is the man that desireth life: who loveth to see good days?
13 Bantayi ang imong dila gikan sa dautan, Ug ang imong ngabil gikan sa pagsulti ug limbong.
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Pahalayo ka gikan sa dautan, ug buhaton mo ang maayo; Pangitaon mo ang pakigdait, ug sundon mo kini.
Turn away from evil and do good: seek after peace and pursue it.
15 Ang mga mata ni Jehova anaa sa ibabaw sa mga matarung, Ug nagapatalinghug ang iyang mga igdulungog sa ilang pagtu-aw.
The eyes of the Lord are upon the just: and his ears unto their prayers.
16 Ang nawong ni Jehova batok sa mga nagabuhat ug dautan, Aron sa pagputol sa handumanan nila gikan sa yuta.
But the countenance of the Lord is against them that do evil things: to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 Nanagtu-aw ang mga matarung, ug nagpatalinghug si Jehova, Ug nagluwas kanila gikan sa tanan nilang mga kalisdanan.
The just cried, and the Lord heard them: and delivered them out of all their troubles.
18 Si Jehova haduol niadtong mga dugmok ug kasingkasing, Ug nagaluwas siya niadtong mahinulsulon sa espiritu.
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a contrite heart: and he will save the humble of spirit.
19 Daghan ang mga kagul-anan sa matarung; Apan si Jehova magaluwas kaniya gikan kanilang tanan.
Many are the afflictions of the just; but out of them all will the Lord deliver them.
20 Siya nagabantay sa tanan niyang mga bukog: Walay usa kanila nga madugmok.
The Lord keepeth all their bones, not one of them shall be broken.
21 Ang dautan magapatay sa dautan; Ug ang nagadumot sa tawong matarung pagahukman sa silot.
The death of the wicked is very evil: and they that hate the just shall be guilty.
22 Si Jehova nagatubos sa kalag sa iyang mga ulipon; Ug walay mausa sa modangup kaniya nga pagahukman sa silot.
The Lord will redeem the souls of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall offend.
