Mga Salmo 14

1 Ang buang diha sa iyang kasingkasing miingon: Walay Dios. Mga dunot (sila) nanagbuhat (sila) sa mga buhat nga makaluod; Walay bisan kinsa nga nagabuhat ug maayo.

“To the chief musician, by David.” The worthless fool saith in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they are abominable [in their] doings, there is none that doth good.

2 Si Jehova nagsud-ong sukad sa langit sa ibabaw sa mga anak sa mga tawo, Sa pagtan-aw kong may usa ba nga nakasabut, Nga nangita sa Dios.

The Lord looketh down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there be one intelligent, one who seeketh for God.

3 Silang tanan nanghisalaag, nangadunot (sila) sa tingub; Walay bisan kinsa nga nagabuhat ug maayo, wala, walay bisan usa.

They are all gone aside, they are altogether become corrupt: there is none that doth good, no, not even one.

4 Wala bay kahibalo ang tanan nga mamumuhat sa kadautan, Nga nanaglamoy sa akong katawohan sama sa nagakaon (sila) ug tinapay, Ug kang Jehova wala (sila) managtawag?

Is there no knowledge in all the workers of wickedness? who eat up my people as they eat bread; [while] they do not call on the Lord.

5 Anaa (sila) sa dakung kahadlok; Kay ang Dios anaa man sa kaliwatan sa mga matarung.

There are they terrified in terror; for God is with the righteous generation:

6 Ang tambag sa kabus gipakaulawan ninyo, Tungod kay si Jehova mao ang iyang dalangpanan.

The counsel of the poor [though] you put to shame; because the Lord is his protection.

7 Agad pa unta nga ang kaluwasan sa Israel moabut gikan sa Sion! Sa diha nga si Jehova magabawi sa pagkabinihag sa iyang katawohan, Unya si Jacob magakalipay ug ang Israel magamaya.

Oh that some one might bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion! When the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, then will Jacob be glad, and Israel will rejoice.
