Mga Salmo 128

1 Bulahan ang tagsatagsa nga may kahadlok kang Jehova, Nga nagalakaw sa iyang mga dalan.

(Happy are/Yahweh is pleased with) those of you who revere him and do what he wants you to do [IDM].

2 Kay ikaw magakaon sa kinabudlayan sa imong mga kamot: Magamalipayon ikaw, ug adunay kaayohan uban kanimo.

You will [be able to earn the money] that you [MTY] need to buy food; you will be happy and you will be prosperous.

3 Ang imong asawa mahimong ingon sa mabungaon nga parras, Sa mga kasuokang dapit sa imong balay; Ang imong mga anak ingon sa mga tanum nga oliva, Nga managlibut sa imong lamesa.

Your wife will be like a grapevine that bears many grapes [SIM]; she will give birth to many children. Your children who sit around your table will be like a strong olive [tree that has many] shoots [growing up around it] [SIM].

4 Ania karon, sa ingon niini pagabulahanon ang tawo Nga may kahadlok kang Jehova.

Every man who reveres Yahweh will be blessed like that.

5 Si Jehova magapanalangin kanimo gikan sa Sion: Ug masud-ong mo ang kaayohan sa Jerusalem sa tanang mga adlaw sa imong kinabuhi.

I wish/hope that Yahweh will bless all of you from [where he dwells] (on Zion [Hill]/[in Jerusalem]) and that you will see [the people of] Jerusalem prospering every day that you live!

6 Oo, masud-ong mo ang imong mga anak sa imong mga anak. Ang pakigdait sa ibabaw sa Israel.

I desire that you will live many years, long enough to see your grandchildren. I desire/hope that things will go well for [the people in] Israel!
