Mga Salmo 124

1 Kong dili pa si Jehova maoy kakapig namo, Ipasulti sa Israel karon,

A Song of Degrees. If it had not been that the Lord was amongst us, let Israel now say;

2 Kong dili pa si Jehova maoy kadapig namo, Sa diha nga ming-alsa ang mga tawo batok kanamo;

if it had not been that the Lord was amongst us, when men rose up against us;

3 Nan (sila) minglamoy na unta kanamo nga mga buhi, Sa diha nga misilaub ang ilang kaligutgut batok kanamo:

verily they would have swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled against us:

4 Nan minglunop na unta kanamo ang mga tubig, Ang baha mibanlas na unta ibabaw sa among kalag;

verily the water would have drowned us, our soul would have gone under the torrent.

5 Nan mingsalanap na unta sa ibabaw sa among kalag ang mga tubig nga palabilabihon.

Yes, our soul would have gone under the overwhelming water.

6 Dalayegon si Jehova, Nga wala magtugyan kanamo ingon nga tulokbonon ngadto sa ilang mga ngipon.

Blessed be the Lord, who has not given us for a prey to their teeth.

7 Ang among kalag giluwas ingon sa langgam nga gikan sa lit-ag sa mga mangangayam: Ang lit-ag nabungkag, ug kami gipalingkawas.

Our soul has been delivered as a sparrow from the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are delivered.

8 Ang among tabang anaa sa ngalan ni Jehova, Nga nagbuhat sa langit ug sa yuta.

Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
