Mga Salmo 120

1 Sa akong kalisdanan mitu-aw ako kang Jehova, Ug iyang gitubag ako.

A Song of Ascents. Unto Yahweh, in the distress that befell me, I cried—and he answered me.

2 Luwasa ang akong kalag, Oh Jehova, gikan sa mga ngabil nga bakakon, Ug gikan sa dila nga malimbongon

O Yahweh! rescue thou my soul—from the false lip, from the deceitful tongue.

3 Unsa ba ang igahatag kanimo, ug unsa ba ang dugang nga pagabuhaton kanimo, Ikaw dila nga malimbongon?

What shall be given to thee, and what shall be added to thee, thou deceitful tongue?

4 Mga mahait nga udyong sa gamhanan, Nga adunay mga baga sa enebro.

The arrows of the hero sharpened, with burning coals of broom.

5 Alaut ako, nga milangyaw ako sa Mesech, Nga nagapuyo ako sa mga balong-balong sa Kedar!

Woe is me, That I sojourn in Meshek, —That I abide near the tents of Kedar!

6 Dugay na nga nagpuyo ang akong kalag Uban kaniya nga nagadumot sa pakigdait.

Long, hath my soul had her dwelling with him that hateth peace:

7 Ako uyon sa pakigdait: Apan kong ako mosulti, (sila) alang sa pakiggubat.

I, am for peace, and verily I speak, They, are for war!
