Mga Salmo 111
1 Dayegon ninyo si Jehova. Magapasalamat ako kang Jehova sa bug-os ko nga kasingkasing, Diha sa pagkatigum sa mga tawong matul-id ug sa katilingban.
Praise Yahweh! I will thank Yahweh with my entire inner being, every time I am with a large group of godly/righteous people.
2 Dagku ang mga buhat ni Jehova, Ginapangita sa tanang mga nahamuot kanila.
The things that Yahweh has done are wonderful! All those who are delighted/pleased with those things desire to (study/think about) them.
3 Dungganon ug halangdon ang iyang buhat; Ug ang iyang pagkamatarung nagalungtad sa walay katapusan.
[Because of everything] that he does, people greatly honor him and respect him because he is a great king; the righteous/just things that he does will endure forever.
4 Iyang gihimo ang iyang mga buhat nga katingalahan nga pagahandumon: Puno sa gracia ug maloloy-on si Jehova.
He has [appointed/established festivals in which] we remember the wonderful things that he has done; Yahweh [always] is kind and merciful.
5 Nagahatag siya ug makaon kanila nga may kahadlok kaniya: Sa gihapon siya mahinumdum sa iyang tugon.
He provides food for those who revere him; he never forgets the agreement that he made [with our ancestors].
6 Ang gahum sa iyang mga buhat gipakita niya sa iyang katawohan, Sa paghatag kanila sa panulondon sa mga nasud.
By enabling his people to capture the lands that belonged to other people-groups, he has shown to [us], his people, that he is very powerful.
7 Ang mga buhat sa iyang mga kamot mao ang kamatuoran ug ang justicia; Kalauman ang tanan niyang mga lagda.
He [MTY] faithfully [does what he has promised] and always does what is just/fair, and we can depend on him [to help us] when he commands us to do things.
8 Napamatud-an (sila) sa gihapon nga sa walay katapusan; Nabuhat (sila) sa kamatuoran ug sa katul-iran.
What he commands must be obeyed forever; and he acted in a true and righteous manner when he gave us those commands.
9 Gipadala niya ang pagtubos sa iyang katawohan; Nagsugo siya sa iyang tugon sa walay katapusan: Balaan ug talahuron ang iyang ngalan.
He rescued [us], his people, [from being slaves in Egypt], and he made an agreement [with us] that will last forever. He [MTY] is holy and awesome!
10 Ang pagkahadlok kang Jehova mao ang sinugdanan sa kaalam; Ang tanan nga nanagtuman sa iyang mga sugo adunay maayong salabutan: Ang iyang pagdayeg nagapadayon sa walay katapusan.
Revering Yahweh is the way to become wise. All those who obey [his commands] will know what is good [for them to decide to do]. We should praise him forever!
