Miquias 6
1 Pamati kamo karon sa ginaingon ni Jehova: Tindog ka, asdangon mo ang mga bukid, ug himoa nga ang mga bungtod makadungog sa imong tingog.
Hearken ye nowe what the Lord sayth, Arise thou, and contende before the mountaines, and let the hilles heare thy voyce.
2 Pamati, Oh kamo nga mga bukid, sa pagpakigbisog ni Jehova, ug kamo nga malig-ong mga patukoranan sa kalibutan; kay si Jehova adunay pagpakigbisog sa iyang katawohan, ug siya makigbisog sa Israel.
Heare ye, O mountaynes, the Lordes quarel, and ye mightie foundations of the earth: for the Lord hath a quarell against his people, and he will pleade with Israel.
3 Oh katawohan ko, unsay nabuhat ko kanimo? ug diin ako makapalaay kanimo? magpamatuod ka batok kanako.
O my people, what haue I done vnto thee? or wherin haue I grieued thee? testifie against me.
4 Kay gikuha ko ikaw gikan sa yuta sa Egipto, ug gilukat ko ikaw gikan sa balay sa pagkaulipon; ug ipadala ko kanimo si Moises, si Aaron, ug si Miriam.
Surely I brought thee vp out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of seruants, and I haue sent before thee, Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
5 Oh akong katawohan, hinumdumi karon kong unsa ang gimugna ni Balac nga hari sa Moab, ug kong unsa ang gitubag ni Balaam ang anak nga lalake ni Beor kaniya; hinumdumi gikan sa Sittim ngadto sa Gilgal, aron kamo mahibalo sa matarung nga mga buhat ni Jehova.
O my people, remember nowe what Balak King of Moab had deuised, and what Balaam the sonne of Beor answered him, from Shittim vnto Gilgal, that ye may knowe the righteousnes of the Lord.
6 Unsa ang dad-on ko sa moduol ako sa atubangan ni Jehova, ug sa moyukbo ako sa akong kaugalingon sa atubangan sa halangdon nga Dios? moatubang ba ako kaniya uban sa mga halad-nga-sinunog, ug uban sa mga nating vaca nga tagsa ka tuig ang kagulangon?
Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bowe my selfe before the hie God? Shall I come before him with burnt offrings, and with calues of a yeere olde?
7 Mahimuot ba si Jehova sa mga linibo nga lakeng carnero, kun sa napulo ka libo nga mga suba sa lana? igahatag ko ba ang akong kamagulangang anak tungod sa akong kasal-anan, ang bunga sa akong lawas tungod sa sala sa akong kalag?
Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousand riuers of oyle? shall I giue my first borne for my transgression, euen the fruite of my bodie, for the sinne of my soule?
8 Gipakita na niya kanimo, Oh tawo, kong unsa ang maayo; ug unsa ba ang gikinahanglan ni Jehova kanimo, kondili ang pagbuhat sa minatarung ug ang paghigugma sa kalolot, ug ang paglakaw nga mapinaubsanon uban sa imong Dios?
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good, and what the Lord requireth of thee: surely to doe iustly, and to loue mercie, and to humble thy selfe, to walke with thy God.
9 Ang tingog ni Jehova nagatu-aw sa ciudad, ug ang tawo sa kaalam makakita sa imong ngalan: pamati kamo sa sungkod, ug kaniya nga nagatudlo niana.
The Lordes voyce cryeth vnto the citie, and the man of wisedome shall see thy name: Heare the rodde, and who hath appoynted it.
10 Anaa pa bay mga bahandi sa kadautan diha sa balay sa kadautan, ug diyutayng takus niadtong butang nga dulumtanan?
Are yet the treasures of wickednes in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure, that is abominable?
11 Magmaputli ba ako pinaagi sa dautan nga mga timbangan, ug pinaagi sa usa ka puntil sa mga bato nga malimbongon?
Shall I iustifie the wicked balances, and the bag of deceitfull weightes?
12 Kay ang mga tawo nga adunahan niana napuno sa pagpanlupig, ug ang mga pumoluyo niana nagapamulong sa kabakakan, ug ang ilang dila limbongan sulod sa ilang baba.
For the rich men thereof are full of crueltie, and the inhabitants thereof haue spoken lyes, and their tongue is deceitfull in their mouth.
13 Busa gihampak ko usab ikaw sa mahapdos nga samad; gihimo ko ikaw nga biniyaan tungod sa imong mga sala.
Therefore also will I make thee sicke in smiting thee, and in making thee desolate, because of thy sinnes.
14 Magakaon ikaw, apan dili ka matagbaw: ug ang imong pagpaubos anha sa imong kinataliwad-an: ug ikaw magatipig, apan dili ka makatigum; ug kadtong imong matigum igahatag ko sa espada.
Thou shalt eate and not be satisfied, and thy casting downe shall be in the mids of thee, and thou shalt take holde, but shalt not deliuer: and that which thou deliuerest, will I giue vp to the sworde.
15 Magapugas ka, apan dili ka makapangani; magagiuk ka sa mga olivo, apan dili ka makapanihog sa imong kaugalingon sa lana; ug makapuga ka sa abut nga parras, apan dili ka makainum sa vino.
Thou shalt sowe, but not reape: thou shalt treade the oliues, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oyle, and make sweete wine, but shalt not drinke wine.
16 Kay ang kabalaoran ni Omri gisunod ninyo, ug ang tanang mga buhat sa balay ni Achab, ug kamo nagalakaw sa ilang mga patambag; aron ikaw himoon ko nga biniyaan, ug ang mga molupyo niana himoon ko nga sinitsitan uban ang pagbiaybiay: ug kamo magaantus sa mga pagtamay sa akong katawohan.
For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the maner of the house of Ahab, and ye walke in their counsels, that I should make thee waste, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall beare the reproche of my people.
