Josue 6
1 Karon ang Jerico tinakpan na pag-ayo tungod sa mga anak sa Israel: walay nakagula ug wala usab ing nakasulod.
Now Iericho was shut vp, and closed, because of the children of Israel: none might go out nor enter in.
2 Ug si Jehova miingon kang Josue: Tan-awa, gihatag ko na sa imong kamot ang Jerico, ingon man ang iyang hari, ug ang mga tawong maisug.
And the Lord saide vnto Ioshua, Behold, I haue giuen into thine hand Iericho and the King thereof, and the strong men of warre.
3 Ug magalibut kamo sa ciudad, ang tanang mga tawo nga manggugubat magalibut kamo sa ciudad sa makausa. Sa ingon niini buhaton kini ninyo sulod sa unom ka adlaw.
All ye therefore that be men of warre, shall compasse the citie, in going round about the citie once: thus shall you doe sixe dayes:
4 Ug pito ka mga sacerdote managdala ug pito ka mga trompeta nga sungay sa lakeng carnero nga mag-una sa arca; ug sa ikapito ka adlaw managlibut kamo sa ciudad sa makapito, ug ang mga sacerdote managpatunog sa mga trompeta.
And seuen Priests shall beare seuen trumpets of rams hornes before the Arke: and the seuenth day ye shall compasse the citie seuen times, and the Priests shall blow with the trumpets.
5 Ug mahitabo, nga, sa diha nga sila magapatingog sa hataas nga pagpalanog sa trompeta sa sungay sa lakeng carnero, ug sa diha nga kamo makadungog sa tingog sa trompeta, ang tibook katawohan managsinggit sa makusog nga pagsinggit; ug ang paril sa ciudad mangatumpag sa pagkapatag gayud, ug ang katawohan manaka sa itaas tagsatagsa ka tawo magasunod sa tawo dayon ngadto sa unahan.
And when they make a long blast with the rams horne, and ye heare the sound of the trumpet, al the people shall shoute with a great shoute: then shall the wall of the citie fall downe flat, and the people shall ascend vp, euery man streight before him.
6 Ug si Josue ang anak nga lalake ni Nun, mitawag sa mga sacerdote, ug miingon kanila: Kuhaa ang arca sa tugon, ug ang pito ka mga sacerdote padad-a ug mga trompeta nga sungay sa carnero nga magauna sa arca ni Jehova.
Then, Ioshua the sonne of Nun called the Priests and said vnto them, Take vp the Arke of the couenant, and let seuen Priests beare seuen trumpets of rams hornes before the Arke of the Lord.
7 Ug sila ming-ingon sa katawohan: Padayon kamo, ug libutan ninyo ang ciudad, ug ang mga tawo nga sangkap sa hinagiban paunha sa arca ni Jehova.
But he said vnto the people, Goe and compasse the citie: and let him that is armed, go forth before the Arke of the Lord.
8 Ug tuod man; sa pagsulti ni Josue sa katawohan, ang pito ka mga sacerdote nga nanagdala ug pito ka mga trompeta nga sungay sa carnero sa atubangan ni Jehova, mingpadayon, ug nagpatunog sa ilang trompeta, ug ang arca sa tugon ni Jehova nagsunod kanila.
And when Ioshua had spoken vnto the people, the seuen Priestes bare the seuen trumpets of rams hornes, and went foorth before the Arke of the Lord, and blew with the trumpets, and the Arke of the couenant of ye Lord followed them.
9 Ug ang mga tawo nga sangkap sa hinagiban nanag-una sa mga sacerdote nga nagapatunog sa trompeta, ug ang pangulahian nagasunod sa arca; ang mga sacerdote nagapatunog sa ilang mga trompeta sa nagalakaw sila.
And the men of armes went before the Priestes, that blewe the trumpets: then the gathering hoste came after the Arke, as they went and blewe the trumpets.
10 Ug si Josue nagsugo sa katawohan, nga nag-ingon: Dili kamo magsinggit, ni ipadungog ninyo ang inyong tingog, ni magpagula kamo bisan usa ka pulong sa inyong mga baba, hangtud nga modangat ang adlaw nga isugo ko kaninyo ang pagpasinggit; unya maninggit kamo.
(Nowe Ioshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall nor shout, neither make any noyse with your voyce, neither shall a worde proceede out of your mouth, vntill the day that I say vnto you, Shout, then shall ye shoute)
11 Busa iyang gipalibut ang arca ni Jehova sa ciudad, nga nagalibut niini sa makausa; ug sila nangadto sa campo, ug namuyo sila sa campo.
So the Arke of the Lord compassed the citie, and went about it once: then they returned into the hoaste, and lodged in the campe.
12 Ug si Josue misayo pagbangon sa pagkabuntag ug ang mga sacerdote nagyayong sa arca ni Jehova.
And Ioshua rose early in the morning, and the Priestes bare the Arke of the Lord:
13 Ug ang pito ka mga sacerdote nga nanagdala sa pito ka trompeta nga sungay sa carnero nanag-una sa arca ni Jehova nagapadayon gihapon, ug nagpatunog sa mga trompeta; ug nag-una kanila ang mga tawo nga sangkap sa hinagiban: ug ang pangulahian nagsunod sa arca ni Jehova: ang mga sacerdote nagapatunog sa mga trompeta sa nagalakaw sila.
Also seuen Priests bare seuen trumpets of rams hornes, and went before the Arke of the Lord, and going blewe with the trumpets: and the men of armes went before them, but the gathering hoste came after the Arke of the Lord, as they went and blewe the trumpets.
14 Ug sa ikaduhang adlaw minglibut sila sa ciudad sa makausa, ug namalik ngadto sa campo: gihimo nila kini sulod sa unom ka adlaw.
And the second day they compassed the citie once, and returned into the host: thus they did sixe dayes.
15 Ug nahitabo sa ikapito ka adlaw nga sila namangon pagsayo sa pagbanagbanag, ug minglibut sa ciudad sa makapito sa ingon gihapon nga pagkaagi; ugaling niadtong adlawa minglibut sila sa ciudad sa nakapito.
And when the seuenth day came, they rose early, euen with the dawning of the day, and compassed the citie after ye same maner seuen times: only that day they compassed the citie seuen times.
16 Ug nahitabo sa ikapito na, sa pagpatunog sa mga sacerdote sa mga trompeta, si Josue misulti sa katawohan: Suminggit kamo; kay si Jehova naghatag kaninyo sa ciudad.
And when the Priests had blowen ye trumpets the seuenth time, Ioshua said vnto ye people, Shoute: for the Lord hath giuen you the citie.
17 Ug ang ciudad pagalaglagon, bisan kana ug ang tanang mga butang nga anaa kaniya, tungod kang Jehova: si Rahab lamang, ang bigaon, ang mabuhi, siya ug ang tanan nga uban kaniya sa balay, tungod kay gitagoan niya ang mga sinugo nga atong gisugo.
And the citie shalbe an execrable thing, both it, and all that are therein, vnto the Lord: onely Rahab the harlot shall liue, shee, and all that are with her in the house: for shee hid the messengers that we sent.
18 Apan mahatungod kaninyo, magpahalayo lamang kamo sa mga laglagonong butang, kay tingali unya kong sa paglaglag ninyo niana, makuha ninyo ang butang nga pagalaglagon; sa ingon niana inyong himong tinunglo ang campo sa Israel, ug magasamok kaniya.
Notwithstanding, be ye ware of the execrable thing, lest ye make your selues execrable, and in taking of the execrable thing, make also the hoste of Israel execrable, and trouble it.
19 Apan ang tanang salapi, ug bulawan, ug tanang mga sudlanan nga tumbaga ug puthaw, gipakabalaan alang kang Jehova: igasulod kana sa tipiganan sa bahandi ni Jehova.
But all siluer, and gold, and vessels of brasse, and yron shalbe consecrate vnto the Lord, and shall come into the Lordes treasury.
20 Busa ang katawohan naninggit, ug ang mga sacerdote nanagpatunog sa mga trompeta; ug nahitabo nga sa pagkadungog sa katawohan sa tingog sa trompeta, nga ang katawohan naninggit sa usa ka makusog nga tingog, ug ang kuta nagun-ob nga nahapla; sa pagkaagi nga ang mga tawo mingsulod sa ciudad, tagsatagsa ka tawo dayon ngadto sa iyang unahan, ug ilang gikuha ang ciudad.
So the people shouted, whe they had blowen trumpets: for when the people had heard the sound of the trumpet, they shouted with a great shoute: and the wall fel downe flat: so the people went vp into the citie, euery man streight before him: and they tooke the citie.
21 Ug ang tanan nga diha sa ciudad, lalake ug babaye, bata ug tigulang, mga vacang lake, carnero ug asno, ilang gihurot paglaglag sa sulab sa pinuti.
And they vtterly destroyed all that was in the citie, both man and woman, yong, and olde, and oxe, and sheepe, and asse, with the edge of the sword.
22 Ug si Josue miingon sa duha ka tawo nga nagsusi sa yuta: Lakaw sa balay sa bigaon, ug pagul-a ang babaye, ug ang tanan nga anaa sa iyang balay, sumala sa inyong gipanumpa kaniya.
But Ioshua had said vnto the two men that had spied out the countrey, Go into the harlots house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware to her.
23 Ug ang mga batan-on nga magsususi mingsulod ug gidala sa gawas si Rahab ug ang iyang amahan, ug ang iyang inahan, ug ang iyang mga igsoon ug ang tanan nga iya; gipagula usab nila ang tanan niyang mga kabanayan; ug sila gibutang nila sa gawas sa campo sa Israel.
So the yong men that were spies, went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that shee had: also they brought out all her familie, and put them without the host of Israel.
24 Ug ang ciudad ug ang tanang mga butang nga dinha kaniya ilang gisunog sa kalayo; ang salapi lamang ug bulawan, ug mga sudlanan nga tumbaga ug puthaw maoy ilang gibutang sa tipiganan sa bahandi sa balay ni Jehova.
After they burnt the citie with fire, and all that was therein: onely the siluer and the gold, and the vessels of brasse and yron, they put vnto the treasure of the house of the Lord.
25 Apan si Rahab, ang bigaon, ug ang tanan nga didto sa sulod sa balay sa iyang amahan, ug ang tanan nga iya, giluwas nga buhi ni Josue; ug hangtud niining adlawa siya nagapuyo sa kinataliwad-an sa Israel, tungod kay gitagoan man niya ang mga sinugo nga gipaadto ni Josue sa pagsusi sa Jerico.
So Ioshua saued Rahab the harlot, and her fathers houshold, and all that shee had; and shee dwelt in Israel euen vnto this day, because shee had hid the messengers, which Ioshua sent to spie out Iericho.
26 Ug niadtong panahona, sila gipapanumpa ni Josue sa pag-ingon: Tinunglo sa atubangan ni Jehova ang tawo nga magabangon ug magaugbok niining ciudad sa Jerico: iyang igaugbok ang tukoranan niana uban ang kapildihon sa iyang anak nga kamagulangan, ug igapatindog niya ang mga ganghaan niana uban ang kapildihon sa iyang anak nga kamanghuran.
And Ioshua sware at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before ye Lord, that riseth vp, and buildeth this citie Iericho: hee shall lay the foundation thereof in his eldest sonne, and in his yongest sonne shall hee set vp the gates of it.
27 Busa si Jehova nagauban kang Josue: ug ang iyang kabantug nasangyaw sa tibook nga yuta.
So the Lord was with Ioshua, and he was famous through all the world.
