1 Tapus niini may gisaulog nga usa ka fiesta sa mga Judio, ug si Jesus mitungas ngadto sa Jerusalem.

After that ther was a feast of the Iewes and Iesus went vp to Ierusalem.

2 Ug sa Jerusalem, duol sa pultahan sa mga karnero, anaay tuburan nga sa Hebreohanon ginatawag ug Betsata, nga may lima ka portico.

And ther is at Ierusalem by ye slaughterhousse a pole called in ye Ebrue toge Bethseda havinge five porches

5 Ug didtoy usa ka tawo nga nagmasakiton sulod na sa katloan ug walo ka tuig.

And a certayne ma was theare which had bene diseased. xxxviii. yeares

6 Sa pagkakita ni Jesus kaniya, ug sa nasayran niya nga siya naglubog didto sulod na sa hataas nga panahon, siya miingon kaniya, "Buot ka bang maayo?"

When Iesus sawe him lye and knewe that he now longe tyme had bene diseased he sayde vnto him. Wilt thou be made whoale?

7 Ang masakiton mitubag kaniya, "Senyor, wala akoy tawo nga makatunlob kanako ngadto sa tuburan inigkutaw na sa tubig, ug sa diha nga manlimbasug ako sa paglusad, adunay lain nga makauna kanako sa pag-ubog."

The sicke answered him: Syr I have no man whe the water is troubled to put me into the pole. But in the meane tyme whill I am about to come another steppeth doune before me.

8 Ug si Jesus miingon kaniya, "Bumangon ka, dad-a ang imong higdaan, ug lumakaw ka."

And Iesus sayde vnto him: ryse take vp thy beed and walke.

9 Ug dihadiha ang tawo naayo, ug gidala niya ang iyang higdaan ug milakaw.

And immediatly the man was made whole and toke vp his beed and went. And the same daye was the Saboth daye

10 Tungod niana ang mga Judio miingon sa tawo nga naayo, "Adlaw karon nga igpapahulay, ug ginadili kanimo ang pagdaladala mo sa imong higdaan."

The Iewes therfore sayde vnto him that was made whole. It is ye Saboth daye it is not laufull for the to cary thy beed

11 Apan siya mitubag kanila, "Ang tawo nga nag-ayo kanako miingon kanako, `Dad-a ang imong higdaan ug lumakaw ka.'"

He answered them: he that made me whole sayde vnto me: take vp thy beed and get the hence.

12 Ug sila nangutana kaniya, "Kinsa bang tawhana ang nag-ingon kanimo, `Dad-a ang imong higdaan ug lumakaw ka'?"

Then axed they him: what man is that which sayde vnto the take vp thy beed and walke.

13 Apan ang tawo nga giayo wala mahibalog kinsa, sanglit si Jesus milikay na man tungod sa panon sa katawhan niadtong dapita.

And he yt was healed wist not who it was. For Iesus had gotte him selfe awaye be cause yt ther was preace of people in ye place.

14 Human niini, gikahibalag siya ni Jesus sa sulod sa templo, ug si Jesus miingon kaniya, "Tan-awa, maayo na ikaw! Ayaw na pagpakasala aron dili mahitabo kanimo ang labi pang mangil-ad."

And after that Iesus founde him in the teple and sayd vnto him: beholde thou arte made whole synne no moore lest a worsse thinge happe vnto the.

15 Ug ang tawo milakaw ug iyang gisuginlan ang mga Judio nga ang nag-ayo kaniya mao si Jesus.

The man departed and tolde ye Iewes that yt was Iesus whiche had made him whole.

16 Ug mao kini ang hinungdan ngano nga si Jesus gilutos sa mga Judio, kay kini gibuhat man ugod niya sa adlaw nga igpapahulay.

And therfore the Iewes dyd persecute Iesus and sought the meanes to slee him because he had done these thinges on the Saboth daye.

17 Apan si Jesus mitubag kanila, "Ang akong Amahan nagapadayon sa pagbuhat bisan pa hangtud karon, ug ako nagabuhat sa ingon man."

And Iesus answered them: my father worketh hidder to and I worke.

18 Ug mao kini ang hinungdan ngano nga misamot pa ang tinguha sa mga Judio sa pagpatay kaniya, dili lamang tungod kay gilapas niya ang adlaw nga igpapahulay, kondili tungod usab kay ang Dios iya mang gitawag nga iyang kaugalingong Amahan, ug sa ingon niana nagpakigsama siya sa Dios.

Therfore the Iewes sought the moare to kill him not only because he had broken the Saboth: but sayde also that God was his father and made him selfe equall with God.

19 Ug si Jesus miingon kanila, "Sa pagkatinuod, sa pagkatinuod, magaingon ako kaninyo, nga walay bisan unsa nga arang mabuhat sa Anak sa iyang kaugalingong kabubut-on, gawas lamang sa iyang makita nga ginabuhat sa Amahan. Kay bisan unsay ginabuhat sa Amahan, ginabuhat usab kana sa Anak sa samang paagi.

Then answered Iesus and sayde vnto them: verely verely I saye vnto you: the sonne can do no thinge of him selfe but that he seeth ye father do. For whatsoever he doeth yt doeth the sonne also.

20 Kay ang Amahan nahigugma sa Anak, ug iyang ginapakita kaniya labi pa niini ka dagkung mga buhat ang iyang igapakita kaniya aron kamo manghibulong.

For the father loveth ye sonne and sheweth him all thinges whatsoever he him selfe doeth. And he will shewe him greter workes then these because ye shoulde marvayle.

21 Kay maingon nga ang Amahan nagabanhaw sa mga patay ug nagahatag kanilag kinabuhi, maingon man usab ang Anak nagahatag ug kinabuhi kang bisan kinsa nga iyang kahimut-an.

For lykwyse as the father rayseth vp ye deed and quickeneth them even so the sonne quyckeneth whom he will.

22 Ang Amahan dili magahukom kang bisan kinsa, hinonoa ang tanang paghukom gitugyan niya ngadto sa Anak,

Nether iudgeth ye father eny ma: but hath comitted all iudgemet vnto the sonne

23 aron ang tanang tawo magapasidungog sa Anak maingon sa ilang pagpasidungog sa Amahan. Ang wala magpasidungog sa Anak wala magpasidungog sa Amahan nga mao ang nagpadala kaniya.

because that all men shuld honoure the sonne eve as they honoure the father. He that honoureth not ye sonne the same honoureth not the father which hath sent him.

24 Sa pagkatinuod, sa pagkatinuod, magaingon ako kaninyo, nga ang magapatalinghug sa akong pulong ug magatoo kaniya nga nagpadala kanako, may kinabuhi nga dayon; siya dili pagahukman, hinonoa nabalhin na siya gikan sa kamatayon ngadto sa kinabuhi. (aiōnios g166)

Verely verely I saye vnto you: He that heareth my wordes and beleveth on him that sent me hath everlastinge lyfe and shall not come into damnacion: but is scaped fro deth vnto lyfe. (aiōnios g166)

25 "Sa pagkatinuod, sa pagkatinuod, magaingon ako kaninyo, nga ang takna nagasingabut, ug karon mao na, nga ang mga patay managpakabati sa tingog sa Anak sa Dios, ug kadtong magapatalinghug mabuhi.

Verely verely I saye vnto you: the tyme shall come and now is when the deed shall heare the voyce of the sonne of God. And they yt heare shall live.

26 Kay maingon nga ang Amahan may kinabuhi diha sa iyang kaugalingon, maingon man gitugot niya sa Anak ang pagpakabaton usab ug kinabuhi diha sa iyang kaugalingon,

For as the father hath life in him silfe: so lyke wyse hath he geven to ye sonne to have lyfe in him silfe:

27 ug gihatagan niya siyag kagahum sa pagpanghukom tungod kay siya Anak man sa Tawo.

and hath geven him power also to iudge in that he is the sonne of man.

28 Ayaw kamo kahibulong niini, kay ang takna nagasingabut na nga ang tanan nga anaa sa mga lubong managpakabati sa iyang tingog,

Marvayle not at this ye houre shall come in the which all yt are in the graves shall heare his voice

29 ug ang mga nanagbuhat ug maayo managpanggula nga binanhaw ngadto sa kinabuhi, ug ang mga nanagbuhat ug mangil-ad managpanggula nga binanhaw ngadto sa pagkahinukman sa silot.

and shall come forthe: they that have done good vnto the resurreccion of lyfe: and they that have done evyll vnto the resurreccion of dampnacion.

30 "Ako walay arang mahimo sa akong kaugalingong pagbulot-an; sumala sa akong nadungog, ako magahukom. Ug ang akong hukom matarung, kay wala ko man tinguhaa ang pagbuhat sa akong kaugalingong kabubut-on kondili sa kabubut-on sa nagpadala kanako.

I can of myne awne selfe do nothinge at all. As I heare I iudge and my iudgemet is iust because I seke not myne awne will but the will of ye father which hath sent me.

31 Kon ako mao ang magpanghimatuod mahitungod sa akong kaugalingon, ang akong panghimatuod maisip nga dili tinuod.

Yf I beare witnes of my selfe my witnes is not true.

32 Apan adunay lain nga nagapanghimatuod mahitungod kanako, ug ako nahibalo nga tinuod ang iyang panghimatuod mahitungod kanako.

Ther is a nother that beareth witnes of me and I am sure that the witnes whiche he beareth of me is true.

33 Inyong gipasugoan si Juan, ug gipanghimatud-an niya ang tinuod.

Ye sent vnto Iohn and he bare witnes vnto the truthe.

34 Hinoon wala ako magsalig sa tawhanong pagpanghimatuod, apan gihisgutan ko lang kini aron maluwas kamo.

But I receave not the recorde of man. Neverthelesse these thinges I saye that ye might be safe.

35 Si Juan maoy usa ka suga nga nagsiga ug nagdan-ag, ug sulod sa usa ka panahon gikahimut-an ninyo ang pagkalipay diha sa iyang kahayag.

He was a burninge and a shyninge light and ye wolde for a season have reioysed in his light.

36 Apan mahitungod kanako adunay panghimatuod kay ang mga buhat nga gipiyal kanako maong mga buhat nga ginahimo ko karon, nagapanghimatuod mahitungod nagpadala kanako.

But I have greater witnes then the witnes of Iohn. For ye workes which ye father hath geve me to fynisshe: the same workes which I do beare witnes of me that ye father sent me.

37 Ug ang Amahan nga mao ang nagpadala kanako, siya gayud nanghimatuod na mahitungod kanako.

And the father him silfe which hath sent me beareth witnes of me. Ye have not hearde his voyce at eny tyme nor ye have sene his shape:

38 ug kaninyo ang iyang pulong wala magpabilin kay kamo wala man motoo kaniya nga iyang gipadala.

therto his wordes have ye not abydinge in you. For whome he hath sent: him ye beleve not.

39 Kamo nagasusi sa mga kasulatan kay nagahunahuna man kamo nga pinaagi niini makakaplag kamo sa kinabuhing dayon; ngani kini mao ang nagapanghimatuod mahitungod kanako; (aiōnios g166)

Searche the scriptures for in them ye thinke ye have eternall lyfe: and they are they which testify of me. (aiōnios g166)

40 apan dili kamo moari kanako aron unta makabaton kamog kinabuhi.

And yet will ye not come to me that ye might have lyfe.

41 Ako wala magpaabut ug dungog nga gikan sa tawo.

I receave not prayse of men.

42 Apan ako nasayud nga diha kaninyo wala ang paghigugma alang sa Dios.

But I knowe you that ye have not the love of God in you

43 Ako mianhi sa ngalan sa akong Amahan, apan wala ako ninyo dawata. Kon aduna hinooy lain nga moanhi sa iyang kaugalingon nga ngalan, siya inyong pagadawaton.

I am come in my fathers name and ye receave me not. Yf another shall come in his awne name him will ye receave.

44 Unsaon man ninyo sa pagpakatoo, kamo nga ngadawat ug dungog gikan sa usag usa, apan wala magapangita sa dungog nga gikan sa bugtong nga Dios?

How can ye beleve which receave honoure one of another and seke not the honoure that commeth of God only?

45 Ayaw kamo paghunahuna nga ako mao ang magasumbong batok kaninyo sa atubangan sa Amahan; ang magasumbong batok kaninyo mao si Moises, siya nga maoy inyong ginalauman.

Doo not thinke that I wyll accuse you to my father. Ther is one that accuseth you eve Moses in whom ye trust.

46 Kon kamo nagatoo man kang Moises, nan, matoo usab unta kamo kanako, kay siya nagsulat man mahitungod kanako.

For had ye beleved Moses ye wold have beleved me: for he wrote of me.

47 Apan kon kamo dili motoo sa iyang mga sinulat, unsaon man ninyo pagtoo sa akong mga gipamulong?"

But now ye beleve not his writinge: how shall ye beleve my wordes.
