1 Ug sa ikatulo ka adlaw may kasal sa Cana sa Galilea, ug didto ang inahan ni Jesus;
And the third day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee: and the mother of Jesus was there.
2 ug si Jesus usab gidapit ngadto sa kasal, uban ang iyang mga tinun-an.
And Jesus also was invited, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3 Ug sa pagkahurot na sa bino, ang inahan ni Jesus miingon kaniya, "Wala na silay bino."
And the wine failing, the mother of Jesus saith to him: They have no wine.
4 Ug si Jesus miingon kaniya, "Babaye, unsay imong labut kanako? Ang akong takna wala pa moabut."
And Jesus saith to her: Woman, what is that to me and to thee? my hour is not yet come.
5 Ug ang iyang inahan miingon sa mga sulogoon, "Unsa ganiy iyang isugo kaninyo, buhata ninyo."
His mother saith to the waiters: Whatsoever he shall say to you, do ye.
6 Ug didtoy nahimutang nga unom ka buok tadyaw nga bato, sumala sa batasan sa mga Judio sa pagpanghugas, nga ang matag-usa niini kasudlan ug kaluhaan o katloan ka galon.
Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three measures apiece.
7 Ug si Jesus miingon kanila, "Pun-a ninyog tubig ang mga tadyaw." Ug kini ilang gipanagpuno hangtud sa ngabil.
Jesus saith to them: Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 Ug unya siya miingon kanila, "Pagkabo na kamo niana ug dad-a ngadto sa punoan sa kombira." Ug kini ilang gidala ngadto kaniya.
And Jesus saith to them: Draw out now, and carry to the chief steward of the feast. And they carried it.
9 Ug sa natilawan sa punoan sa kombira ang tubig nga nahimo nang bino, ug kay wala man siya masayud diin kini gikan (bisan tuod nasayud niini ang mga sulogoon nga nanagkabo sa tubig), ang punoan sa kombira mitawag sa bana
And when the chief steward had tasted the water made wine, and knew not whence it was, but the waiters knew who had drawn the water; the chief steward calleth the bridegroom,
10 ug miingon kaniya, "Nabatasan baya sa mga tawo ang pagdalit pag-una sa maayong bino, ug unya sa diha nga ang mga dinapit makainom na pag-ayo, mao pay pagdalit sa minos nga bino; apan ikaw, imo hinoong gitagoan ang maayong bino hangtud karon."
And saith to him: Every man at first setteth forth good wine, and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse. But thou hast kept the good wine until now.
11 Kini, ang nahauna sa iyang mga milagro, gibuhat ni Jesus didto sa Cana sa Galilea, ug nagpadayag sa iyang himaya; ug ang iyang mga tinun-an nanagpanoo kaniya.
This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee; and manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
12 Ug tapus niini siya milugsong ngadto sa Capernaum, uban ang iyang inahan ug ang iyang mga igsoon ug ang iyang mga tinun-an; ug didto mipabilin sila sulod sa pipila lamang ka adlaw.
After this he went down to Capharnaum, he and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they remained there not many days.
13 Ug nagkahiduol na ang Pasko sa mga Judio, busa si Jesus mitungas ngadto sa Jerusalem.
And the pasch of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 Ug sa sulod sa templo iyang nakita ang mga nanagbaligyag mga baka ug mga karnero ug mga salampati, ug ang mga tigpangilis ug salapi nga diha sa ilang pamatigayon.
And he found in the temple them that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting.
15 Ug nagbuhat siyag latigo nga pisi ug iyang giabog silang tanan, uban ang mga karnero ug mga baka, ngadto sa gawas sa templo; ug iyang giyabo ang mga salapi sa mga tigpangilis ug iyang gipanglintuwad ang ilang mga lamisa.
And when he had made, as it were, a scourge of little cords, he drove them all out of the temple, the sheep also and the oxen, and the money of the changers he poured out, and the tables he overthrew.
16 Ug siya miingon sa mga nanagbaligyag mga salampati, "Kuhaa ninyo dinhi kining mga butanga; ang balay sa akong Amahan ayaw ninyo paghimoang merkado."
And to them that sold doves he said: Take these things hence, and make not the house of my Father a house of traffic.
17 Ug ang iyang mga tinun-an nahinumdom nga ang kasulatan nagaingon man, "Ang kamaampingon alang sa imong balay magaut-ot kanako."
And his disciples remembered, that it was written: The zeal of thy house hath eaten me up.
18 Busa ang mga Judio miingon kaniya, "Unsa man ang ilhanan nga imong ikapakita kanamo nga ikaw may pagbulot-an sa pagbuhat niini?"
The Jews, therefore, answered, and said to him: What sign dost thou shew unto us, seeing thou dost these things?
19 Ug si Jesus mitubag kanila, "Gubaa ninyo kining templo, ug patindugon ko kini sulod sa tulo ka adlaw."
Jesus answered, and said to them: Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Ug ang mga Judio nanagpanubag, "Kining temploha gitukod sulod sa kap-atan ug unom ka tuig, ug imong patindugon kini sulod sa tulo ka adlaw?"
The Jews then said: Six and forty years was this temple in building; and wilt thou raise it up in three days?
21 Apan ang templo nga iyang gipasabut mao ang iyang kaugalingong lawas.
But he spoke of the temple of his body.
22 Mao man gani nga sa pagkabanhaw na niya gikan sa mga patay, ang iyang mga tinun-an nahinumdom sa iyang pagsulti niini; ug sila nanagpanoo sa kasulatan ug sa pulong nga gisulti ni Jesus.
When therefore he was risen again from the dead, his disciples remembered, that he had said this, and they believed the scripture, and the word that Jesus had said.
23 Ug sa didto siya sa Jerusalem sa panahon sa fiesta sa Pasko, daghan ang misalig sa iyang ngalan sa pagkakita nila sa mga milagro nga iyang gibuhat;
Now when he was at Jerusalem, at the pasch, upon the festival day, many believed in his name, seeing his signs which he did.
24 apan sa iyang bahin wala ni Jesus isalig ang iyang kaugalingon ngadto kanila,
But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,
25 kay siya nasayud man sa tanang tawo ug wala siya magkinahanglan nga adunay magpanghimatuod ngadto kaniya mahitungod sa tawo, kay siya gayud nasayud man kon unsa ang anaa sa sulod sa tawo.
And because he needed not that any should give testimony of man: for he knew what was in man.
