Jeremias 31

1 Niadtong panahona, nagaingon si Jehova: Ako mahimong Dios sa tanang mga banay sa Israel, ug sila mahimong akong katawohan.

At the same time, says the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

2 Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Ang katawohan nga nanghibilin sa espada nakakaplag sa akong gracia didto sa kamingawan; bisan ngani ang Israel sa pag-adto ko aron sa pagpapahulay kaniya.

Thus says the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

3 Si Jehova sa kanhi pa nagpakita kanako, nga nagaingon: Oo, gihigugma ko ikaw sa usa ka gugma nga walay katapusan: busa uban sa mahigugmaong-kalolot gidani ko ikaw.

The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.

4 Tukoron ko ikaw pag-usab, ug ikaw matukod, Oh ulay sa Israel pagadayan-dayanan ka pag-usab uban sa imong mga tambol nga gagmay, ug moadto sa mga sayaw nila nga magakalipay.

Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: you shall again be adorned with your timbrels, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

5 Magatanum ikaw pag-usab ug mga kaparrasan ibabaw sa mga bukid sa Samaria; ang mga magtatanum managtanum ug managpahimulos sa bunga niini.

You shall yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

6 Kay moabut ang usa ka adlaw, nga ang mga magbalantay sa bukid sa Ephraim maninggit: Tindog kamo, ug mangadto kita sa Sion ngadto kang Jehova nga atong Dios.

For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise all of you, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

7 Kay mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Mag-awit kamo nga malipayon alang kang Jacob, ug maninggit kamo alang sa pangulo sa mga nasud; manag-mantala kamo, managdayeg kamo, ug manag-ingon: Oh Jehova, luwasa ang imong katawohan; ang nanghibilin sa Israel.

For thus says the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish all of you, praise all of you, and say, O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.

8 Ania karon, dad-on ko sila gikan sa amihanan nga yuta, ug tigumon ko sila gikan sa kinatumyang mga bahin sa yuta, ug uban kanila ang buta ug ang bakul, ang babaye nga mabdos ug siya nga nanganak sa tingub; usa ka dakung pundok mobalik sila didto.

Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that labors with child together: a great company shall return thither.

9 Manganhi sila uban ang paghilak; ug uban ang mga pagpakilooy tultolan ko sila: palakton ko sila sa maoy sa ka amahan sa Israel, ug ang Ephraim maoy kamagulangan ko nga anak.

They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

10 Pamati sa pulong ni Jehova, Oh kamo nga mga nasud, ug ipahayag kini sa mga pulo nga halayo; ug manag-ingon kamo: Siya nga nagpatibulaag sa Israel magatigum kaniya, ug magbantay kaniya samasa usa ka magbalantay nga magabantay sa iyang panon.

Hear the word of the LORD, O all of you nations, and declare it in the isles far off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.

11 Kay si Jehova naglukat kang Jacob, ug nagtubos kaniya gikan sa kamot niadtong kusgan pa kay kaniya.

For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

12 Busa sila manganhi ug manag-awit sa kinahitas-an sa Sion, ug manag-ambahan ngadto sa kaayo ni Jehova, ngadto sa trigo, ug ngadto sa bag-ong vino, ug ngadto sa lana, ug ngadto sa nati sa panon sa carnero ug sa panon sa vaca: ug ang ilang kalag mahisama sa usa ka tanaman nga binobuan sa tubig; ug sila dili na gayud managsubo pag-usab.

Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

13 Unya ang ulay magamaya diha sa sayaw ug ang mga batan-ong lalake ug mga tigulang sa tingub; kay himoon ko nga kalipay ang ilang pagbalata, ug lipayon ko sila, ug himoon ko nga managmaya sila gikan sa ilang kasub-anan.

Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

14 Ug tagbawon ko ang kalag sa mga sacerdote sa katambok, ug ang akong katawohan pagabusgon ko sa akong kaayo, nagaingon si Jehova.

And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the LORD.

15 Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Usa ka tingog nadungog didto sa Rama, ang pagminatay, ug ang mapait nga paghilak, si Raquel naghilak tungod sa iyang mga anak; midumili siya nga pagalipayon tungod sa iyang mga anak, kay sila wala na man.

Thus says the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

16 Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Pugngi ang imong tingog sa paghilak, ug pugngi ang imong mga mata sa pagpatulo sa mga luha; kay ang imong buhat pagabalusan, nagaingon si Jehova; ug sila moanhi pag-usab gikan sa yuta sa kaaway.

Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

17 Ug adunay paglaum alang sa imong kaugmaon, nagaingon si Jehova; ug ang imong mga anak moanhi pag-usab sa ilang kaugalingong utlanan.

And there is hope in your end, says the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border.

18 Sa pagkamatuod nadungog ko si Ephraim nga nagabakho sa iyang kaugalingon sa pag-ingon: Gihampak mo ako, ug ako gihampak, sama sa usa ka nati nga vaca nga wala maanad sa yugo: pabalikon mo ako ug ako mobalik; kay ikaw mao si Jehova nga akong Dios.

I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock is not accustomed to the yoke: turn you me, and I shall be turned; for you are the LORD my God.

19 Sa pagkamatuod sa human na ako pabalika, ako naghinulsol; ug sa human na ako matudloi, akong gihampak ang akong paa: ako naulaw, oo, nalibog sa ngani, tungod kay ako nag-antus sa pagkatinamay sa akong pagkabatan-on.

Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I stroke upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

20 Si Ephraim ba ang akong minahal nga anak? pinalangga ba siyang anak? kay sa nakadaghan ako magsulti batok kaniya, ako sa mainiton gayud nahanumdum gihapon kaniya: busa ang akong kasingkasing nangandoy kaniya; ako sa pagkamatuod malooy kaniya, nagaingon si Jehova.

Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD.

21 Magpatindog ka ug mga mohon sa mga alagianan: magbuhat ka ug mga haligi nga magatultol sa dalan; ipahimutang ang imong kasingkasing ngadto sa dalan, bisan pa sa dalan nga imong giadtoan: bumalik ka pag-usab, Oh, ulay sa Israel, bumalik ka pag-usab niining imong mga ciudad.

Set you up guideposts, make you high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, even the way which you went: return, O virgin of Israel, return to these your cities.

22 Hangtud ba anus-a ang imong paglakat ngadto ug nganhi, Oh ikaw anak nga babaye nga masalaypon? kay si Jehova nagbuhat ug bag-ong butang sa yuta: Usa ka babaye magalimis sa sulod niya sa usa ka lalake.

How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

23 Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova sa mga panon, ang Dios sa Israel: Apan sila managgamit sa pag-usab niining pulonga sa yuta sa Juda ug sa mga ciudad didto, sa diha nga moapabalik ako kanila gikan sa ilang pagkabinihag: Si Jehova magapanalangin kanimo, Oh puloy-anan sa pagkamatarung, Oh bukid sa pagkabalaan.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

24 Ug didto magapuyo sa tingub ang Juda ug ang tanang mga ciudad didto, ang mga magbabaul, ug kadtong managsuroysuroy uban sa mga panon.

And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.

25 Kay gitagbaw ko ang kalag nga gilaayan, ug akong gibusog ang tagsatagsa ka kalag nga masulob-on.

For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

26 Dinhi niini ako nahigmata, ug nakakita; ug ang akong pagkatulog matam-is man kanako.

Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.

27 Ania karon, ang mga adlaw moabut na, nagaingon si Jehova, aron ako magasabod sa balay sa Israel ug sa balay sa Juda sa binhi sa tawo, ug sa binhi sa mananap.

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

28 Ug mahitabo nga, maingon nga ako nagbantay kanila sa pagluka ug sa pagdaug ug sa paglumpag ug sa paglaglag ug sa pagsakit, mao usab pagabantayan ko sila, sa pagtukod ug sa pagtanum kanila, nagaingon si Jehova.

And it shall come to pass, that like I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, says the LORD.

29 Niadtong mga adlawa sila dili na mag-ingon pag-usab: Ang mga amahan nakakaon ug maaslom nga parras, ug ang mga ngipon sa mga anak may kangilo.

In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.

30 Apan ang tagsatagsa kanila mamatay tungod sa iyang kaugalingong kasal-anan: ang tagsatagsa ka tawo nga makakaon sa maaslom nga parras, mao ang may kangilo sa iyang mga ngipon.

But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

31 Ania karon, ang mga adlaw moabut na, nagaingon si Jehova, nga ako magabuhat ug usa ka bag-ong tugon uban sa balay sa Israel, ug uban sa balay sa Juda:

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 Dili sama sa tugon nga gibuhat ko uban sa ilang mga amahan sa adlaw nga giagak ko sila sa kamot sa pagpagula kanila gikan sa yuta sa Egipto; nga ang maong tugon ilang gilapas, bisan ako mao ang ilang bana, nagaingon si Jehova.

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, says the LORD:

33 Apan kini mao ang tugon nga pagabuhaton ko uban sa balay sa Israel sa tapus niadtong mga adlawa, nagaingon si Jehova: Ibutang ko ang akong Kasugoan sa ilang sulod nga mga bahin, ug diha sa ilang kasingkasing kini isulat ko; ug ako mahimong ilang Dios, ug sila mahimong akong katawohan.

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34 Ug sila dili na gayud magtudlo ang tagsatagsa ka tawo sa iyang isigkatawo ug ang tagsatagsa ka tawo sa iyang igsoon, sa pag-ingon: Ilhon mo si Jehova: kay silang tanan managpakaila kanako, gikan sa labing diyutay kanila ngadto sa labing daku kanila, nagaingon si Jehova: kay pasayloon ko ang ilang kasal-anan, ug dili na gayud hinumduman ko ang ilang sala.

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

35 Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova, nga nagahatag sa adlaw sa paghatag kahayag sa adlaw, ug sa mga tulomanon sa bulan ug sa mga bitoon alang sa paghatag sa kahayag sa kagabhion, nga nagakutaw sa dagat, sa pagkaagi nga ang mga balud niini managdaguok; si Jehova sa mga panon mao ang iyang ngalan.

Thus says the LORD, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

36 Kong kini nga mga tulomanon mahamulag gikan sa akong atubangan, nagaingon si Jehova, nan ang kaliwatan sa Israel mohunong sa pagkahimong nasud sa akong atubangan sa walay katapusan.

If those ordinances depart from before me, says the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

37 Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Kong ang langit sa kahitas-an masukod, ug ang mga patukoranan sa yuta masusi sa kinahiladman, nan isalikway ko usab ang tibook kaliwatan sa Israel tungod sa tanan nilang nabuhat, nagaingon si Jehova.

Thus says the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says the LORD.

38 Ania karon, ang mga adlaw moabut na, nagaingon si Jehova, nga ang ciudad pagatukoron alang kang Jehova gikan sa torre sa Hananeel ngadto sa ganghaan nga nasikohan.

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.

39 Ug ang igsulokod nga pisi moabut sa unahan ngadto sa ibabaw sa bungtod sa Gareb, ug moliko ngadto sa Goa.

And the measuring line shall yet go forth opposite to it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.

40 Ug ang tibook nga walog sa mga minatay, ug sa mga abo, ug ang tanang mga uma ngadto sa sapa-sapa sa Cedron, ngadto sa nasikohan sa ganghaan sa kabayo paingon ngadto sa silangan, mahimong balaan alang kang Jehova; kini dili pagalukahon, ni pagalaglagon pag-usab sa walay katapusan.

And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
