Isaias 31
1 Alaut kanila nga manugbong sa Egipto aron tabangan, ug managsalig sa mga kabayo, ug managsalig sa mga carro tungod kay sila daghan, ug sa mga magkakabayo tungod kay sila mabaskug, wala managtutok sa Balaan sa Israel, ni mangita kang Jehova!
Wo to hem that goon doun in to Egipt to help, and hopen in horsis, and han trist on cartis, for tho ben manye, and on knyytis, for thei ben ful stronge; and thei tristiden not on the hooli of Israel, and thei souyten not the Lord.
2 Apan siya usab maalam man, ug magadala ug kadautan, ug dili mobakwi sa iyang mga pulong, kondili motindog hinoon batok sa balay sa mga mamumuhat sa kadautan, ug batok sa panabang niadtong managhimo sa kasal-anan.
Forsothe he that is wijs, hath brouyt yuel, and took not awei hise wordis; and he schal rise togidere ayens the hous of worste men, and ayens the helpe of hem that worchen wickidnesse.
3 Karon ang mga Egiptohanon mga tawo man, ug dili Dios; ug ang ilang mga kabayo unod man, ug dili espiritu: ug sa diha nga si Jehova mobakyaw sa iyang kamot, lakip siya nga magatabang mahadugmo, ug siya nga tinabangan mapukan, ug silang tanan pagaut-uton sa tingub.
Egipt is a man, and not God; and the horsis of hem ben fleisch, and not spirit; and the Lord schal bowe doun his hond, and the helpere schal falle doun, and he schal falle, to whom help is youun, and alle schulen be wastid togidere.
4 Kay kini mao ang giingon ni Jehova kanako: Ingon nga ang leon ug itoy sa leon magangulob sa ibabaw sa iyang tinukob, kong ang usa ka panon sa mga magbalantay sa carnero pagatawgon batok kaniya, nga dili mahadlok sa ilang tingog, ni magapaubos sa iyang kaugalingon tungod sa ilang kagahub: mao man si Jehova sa mga panon manaug aron sa pagpakig-away batok sa bukid sa Sion, ug batok sa bungtod niini.
For whi the Lord seith these thingis to me, If a lioun rorith, and a whelp of a lioun on his prey, whanne the multitude of schipherdis cometh ayens hym, he schal not drede of the vois of hem, and he schal not drede of the multitude of hem; so the Lord of oostis schal come doun, for to fiyte on the mounteyn of Sion, and on the litil hil therof.
5 Ingon sa mga langgam nga managlupadlupad mao man si Jehova sa mga panon, manalipod sa Jerusalem; siya manalipod ug magaluwas niini, ug moagi siya sa ibabaw ug magabantay niini.
As briddis fleynge, so the Lord of oostis schal defende Jerusalem; he defendynge and delyuerynge, passynge forth and sauynge.
6 Pamalik kamo ngadto kaniya kang kinsa kamo nanukol sa hilabihan gayud, Oh mga anak sa Israel.
Ye sones of Israel, be conuertid, as ye hadden go awei in to depthe.
7 Kay niadtong adlawa ang tagsatagsa ka tawo mosalibay sa iyang diosdios nga salapi, ug sa iyang mga diosdios nga bulawan, nga gibuhat sa inyong kaugalingong mga kamot alang kaninyo aron sa pagpakasala.
Forsothe in that dai a man schal caste awei the idols of his siluer, and the idols of his gold, whiche youre hondis maden to you in to synne.
8 Ug ang Asirianhon mangapukan tungod sa pinuti, nga dili sa tawo; ug ang pinuti nga dili iya sa tawo, magalamoy kaniya; ug siya mokalagiw gikan sa pinuti, ug ang iyang mga batan-ong lalake igapasakup sa bulohaton sa pintakasi.
And Assur schal falle bi swerd, not of man, and a swerd, not of man, schal deuoure hym; and he schal fle, not fro the face of swerd, and hise yonge men schulen be tributaries;
9 Ug ang iyang bato moagi tungod sa kahadlok, ug ang iyang mga principe mangaluya tungod sa bandila, miingon si Jehova, kang kansang kalayo anaa sa Sion, ug ang iyang hasohasan anaa sa Jerusalem.
and the strengthe of hym schal passe fro ferdfulnesse, and hise princes fleynge schulen drede. The Lord seide, whos fier is in Sion, and his chymeney is in Jerusalem.
