Hebreohanon 7
1 Kay kini si Melquisedec, nga hari sa Salem, sacerdote sa labing halangdong Dios, misugat kang Abraham sa nagpauli kini gikan sa pagpamatay sa mga hari, ug nanalangin kaniya;
For this Malki-Zedeq, king of Shalim, priest of God Most High, who met Avraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
2 ug alang kaniya gigahin ni Abraham ang ikapulo sa tanang butang. Una sa tanan, sumala sa hubad sa iyang ngalan, siya hari sa katarungan, ug unya hari usab siya sa Salem, nga sa ato pa, hari sa kadaitan.
to whom also Avraham divided "a tenth part of everything" (being first, by interpretation, king of righteousness, and then also king of Shalim, which is king of peace;

without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God), remains a priest continually.
4 Ug palandunga unsa ka tinamud gayud niadtong tawhana! Bisan gani si Abraham nga patriarca migahin alang kaniya sa ikapulo sa mga inagaw sa gubat.
Now consider how great this man was, to whom even Avraham, the patriarch, gave a tenth out of the most valuable plunder.

6 Apan kadtong tawhana nga dili sa ilang kagikanan midawat sa ikapulo gikan kang Abraham ug nanalangin kaniya nga nagbaton sa mga saad.
but he whose genealogy is not counted from them has accepted tithes from Avraham, and has blessed him who has the promises.
7 Maoy usa ka butang nga dili malalis, nga ang ubos ug kahimtang pagapanalanginan sa labaw ug kahimtang.
But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater.
8 Dinhi ang ikapulo ginadawat sa mga tawong may kamatayon; apan didto ginadawat kini niadtong usa nga gipanghimatud-an nga buhi sa dayon.
Here people who die receive tithes, but there one receives tithes of whom it is testified that he lives.
9 Ug ikaingon man gani nga bisan si Levi, nga nagadawat sa ikapulo, mihatag sa ikapulo pinaagi kang Abraham,

10 kay si Levi didto pa man sa bat-ang sa iyang ginikanan sa paghisugat ni Melquisedec kang Abraham.
for he was yet in the body of his father when Malki-Zedeq met him.
11 Karon kon ang pagkahingpit nakab-ot pa pinaagi sa kang Levi nga pagkasacerdote (kay ubos niini gidawat man sa mga tawo ang kasugoan), nganong gikinahanglan pa man nga mobarug ang laing sacerdote sumala sa laray ni Melquisedec, ug dili ang usa nga sumala sa laray ni Aaron?
Now if there was perfection through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people have received the law), what further need was there for another priest to arise after the order of Malki-Zedeq, and not be called after the order of Ahrun?
12 Kay kon aduna may pag-ilis sa pagkasacerdote, kinahanglan usab adunay pag-ilis sa kasugoan.
For the priesthood being changed, there is of necessity a change made also in the law.
13 Kay siya nga bahin kaniya kining mga butanga gikahisgutan, sakop sa laing banay nga gikan niini walay bisan usa nga nakaalagad sa halaran.
For he of whom these things are said belongs to another tribe, from which no one has officiated at the altar.
14 Kay dayag man kaayo nga ang atong Ginoo natawo gikan kang Juda, ug labut niadtong banaya si Moises wala maghisgot ug mga sacerdote.
For it is evident that our Lord has sprung out of Yehudah, about which tribe Mushe spoke nothing concerning priests.
15 Ug kini milabi pa gayud gani sa ka dayag sa diha nga mibarug ang laing sacerdote nga may pagkasama kang Melquisedec,
This is yet more abundantly evident, if after the likeness of Malki-Zedeq there arises another priest,
16 nga nahimong sacerdote, dili sumala sa kasugoan mahitungod sa lawasnon nga kagikanan, kondili pinaagi sa gahum sa kinabuhi nga walay pagkalaglag.
who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:
17 Kay ang pagpanghimatuod kaniya nagaingon, Ikaw sacerdote hangtud sa kahangturan, sumala sa laray ni Melquisedec." (aiōn g165)
for it is testified, "You are a priest forever, according to the order of Malki-Zedeq." (aiōn g165)
18 Kay sa usa ka bahin, ang nahaunang kasugoan gihiklin tungod sa kahuyang ug kawalay kapusalan niini
For there is an annulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness and uselessness
19 (kay walay nahimong hingpit pinaagi sa kasugoan); ug sa laing bahin, gikapasulod ang usa ka labi pa ka maayong paglaum nga pinaagi niini magaduol kita sa Dios.
(for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
20 Ug kini dili nga walay panumpa.
Inasmuch as he was not made priest without the taking of an oath,
21 Sila nga kaniadto nahimong mga sacerdote nahimong ingon sa walay panumpa, apan kini siya gipamulongan ug panumpa nga nag-ingon, Ang Ginoo nanumpa ug dili siya magausab sa iyang hunahuna, `Ikaw sacerdote hangtud sa kahangturan.'" (aiōn g165)
for they indeed have been made priests without an oath, but he with an oath by him that says of him, "The Lord swore and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.'" (aiōn g165)
22 Kini nagahimo kang Jesus ingon nga pasalig sa labi pa ka maayong pakigsaad.
Accordingly Yeshua has become the guarantor of a better covenant.
23 Ang nahaunang mga sacerdote daghan, kay dili man sila molungtad sa katungdanan tungod sa kamatayon;
Many, indeed, have been made priests, because they are hindered from continuing by death.
24 apan kini siya sa dayon nagahupot sa iyang pagkasacerdote, kay siya molungtad man hangtud sa kahangturan. (aiōn g165)
But he, because he lives forever, has his priesthood unchangeable. (aiōn g165)
25 Busa, sa tanang panahon, siya arang makaluwas sa mga moduol sa Dios pinaagi kaniya, sanglit buhi man siya sa kanunay aron sa pagpangamuyo alang kanila.
Therefore he is also able to save completely those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.
26 Kay angay alang kanato ang pagpakabaton sa maong labaw nga sacerdote, balaan, walay sala, walay lama, linain gikan sa mga makasasala, tinuboy ngadto sa kahitas-an labaw pa sa kalangitan.
For such a high priest was indeed fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 Lahi sa uban nga mga labawng sacerdote, siya wala magkinahanglan sa adlaw-adlaw nga paghimog mga halad-inihaw, nahauna alang sa iyang kaugalingong mga sala ug unga alang sa mga sala sa katawhan; kay kini gihimo niya sa makausa ra sa wala nay pagsublisubli, sa paghalad niya sa iyang kaugalingon.
who does not need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices daily, first for his own sins, and then for those of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered up himself.
28 Sa pagkatinuod, ang kasugoan nagatudlog mga tawo nga may kaluyahon ingon nga mga labawng sacerdote, apan ang pulong sa panumpa, nga miabut ulahi sa kasugoan, nagatudlog Anak nga nahimong hingpit hangtud sa kahangturan. (aiōn g165)
For the Law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath which came after the Law appoints a Son forever who has been perfected. (aiōn g165)
