Genesis 5
1 Kini mao ang basahon sa mga kaliwatan ni Adam. Sa adlaw nga gibuhat sa Dios ang tawo, sa kasama sa Dios siya gibuhat niya.
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him in God’s likeness.
2 Lalake ug babaye iyang gibuhat sila; ug gipanalanginan sila, ug gitawag niya ang ngalan nila ug Adam sa adlaw sa pagbuhat kanila.
He created them male and female, and blessed them. On the day they were created, he named them Adam.
3 Ug nakadangat si Adam ug usa ka gatus ug katloan ka tuig ug nanganak ug usa ka anak nga lalake nga liwat kaniya, ingon sa iyang dagway, ug nagtawag sa iyang ngalan si Seth.
Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
4 Ug ang mga adlaw ni Adam, sa human siya manganak kang Seth, walo ka gatus ka tuig; ug nanganak siya ug mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye.
The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.
5 Ug ang tanan nga mga adlaw sa kinabuhi ni Adam siyam ka gatus ug katloan ka tuig, ug namatay siya.
All the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years, then he died.
6 Ug nakadangat si Seth ug usa ka gatus ug lima ka tuig, ug nanganak kang Enos.
Seth lived one hundred and five years, then became the father of Enosh.
7 Ug si Seth sa human manganak kang Enos, nakadangat ug walo ka gatus ug pito ka tuig; ug nanganak siya ug mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye.
Seth lived after he became the father of Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
8 Ug ang tanan nga mga adlaw ni Seth siyam ka gatus ug napulo ug duha ka tuig, ug namatay siya.
All of the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years, then he died.
9 Ug nakadangat si Enos ug kasiyaman ka tuig ug nanganak kang Cainan.
Enosh lived ninety years, and became the father of Kenan.
10 Ug si Enos sa human manganak kang Cainan, nakadangat ug walo ka gatus ug napulo ug lima ka tuig; ug nanganak ug mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye.
Enosh lived after he became the father of Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
11 Ug ang tanan nga mga adlaw ni Enos, siyam ka gatus ug lima ka tuig, ug namatay siya.
All of the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, then he died.
12 Ug nakadangat si Cainan ug kapitoan ka tuig ug nanganak kang Mahalaleel.
Kenan lived seventy years, then became the father of Mahalalel.
13 Ug si Cainan sa human manganak kang Mahalaleel, nakadangat ug walo ka gatus ug kap-atan ka tuig; ug nanganak ug mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye.
Kenan lived after he became the father of Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters
14 Ug ang tanan nga mga adlaw ni Cainan siyam ka gatus ug napulo ka tuig, ug namatay siya.
and all of the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years, then he died.
15 Ug si Mahalaleel nakadangat ug kan-uman ug lima ka tuig, ug nanganak kang Jared.
Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Jared.
16 Ug si Mahalaleel sa human manganak kang Jared, nakadangat ug walo ka gatus ug katloan ka tuig; ug nanganak ug mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye.
Mahalalel lived after he became the father of Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
17 Ug ang tanan nga mga adlaw ni Mahalaleel, walo ka gatus kasiyaman ug lima ka tuig, ug namatay siya.
All of the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years, then he died.
18 Ug si Jared nakadangat ug usa ka gatus ug kan-uman ug duha ka tuig, ug nanganak kang Henoch.
Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, then became the father of Enoch.
19 Ug si Jared, sa human manganak kang Henoch, nakadangat ug walo ka gatus ka tuig; ug nanganak ug mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye.
Jared lived after he became the father of Enoch eight hundred years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
20 Ug ang tanan nga mga adlaw ni Jared siyam ka gatus kan-uman ug duha ka tuig, ug namatay siya.
All of the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years, then he died.
21 Ug si Henoch nakadangat ug kan-uman ug lima ka tuig, ug nanganak kang Mathusalam.
Enoch lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Methuselah.
22 Ug naglakaw si Henoch kuyog sa Dios sa human siya manganak kang Mathusalam, ug totolo ka gatus ka tuig; ug nanganak ug mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye.
After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters.
23 Ug ang tanan nga mga adlaw ni Henoch midangat ug totolo ka gatus ug kan-uman ug lima ka tuig.
All the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.
24 Ug si Henoch naglakaw uban sa Dios, ug nawala siya, kay gikuha siya sa Dios.
Enoch walked with God, and he was not found, for God took him.
25 Ug nakadangat si Mathusalam ug usa ka gatus kawaloan ug pito ka tuig, ug nanganak kang Lamech.
Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, then became the father of Lamech.
26 Ug si Mathusalam, sa human manganak kang Lamech, nakadangat ug pito ka gatus kawaloan ug duha ka tuig; ug nanganak siya ug mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye.
Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
27 Ug ang tanan nga mga adlaw ni Mathusalam siyam ka gatus kan-uman ug siyam ka tuig, ug namatay siya.
All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, then he died.
28 Ug nakadangat si Lamech ug usa ka gatus kawaloan ug duha ka tuig, ug nanganak ug usa ka anak nga lalake;
Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, then became the father of a son.
29 Ug gitawag niya ang iyang ngalan si Noe nga nagaingon: Kini siya magalipay kanato sa atong buhat, ug sa kabudlay sa atong mga kamot, nga moabut tungod sa yuta nga gitunglo ni Jehova.
He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”
30 Ug si Lamech sa human siya manganak kang Noe, nakadangat ug lima ka gatus kasiyaman ug lima ka tuig; ug nanganak ug mga anak nga lalake ug mga anak nga babaye.
Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred and ninety-five years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
31 Ug ang tanan nga mga adlaw ni Lamech pito ka gatus kapitoan ug pito ka tuig ug namatay siya.
All the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, then he died.
32 Ug ang panuigon ni Noe lima ka gatus ka tuig, ug nanganak siya kang Sem, Cham, ug Japhet.
Noah was five hundred years old, then Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
