Genesis 41
1 Ug nahitabo nga sa ming-agi na gayud ang duha ka tuig, nagdamgo si Faraon ug usa ka damgo. Ug, ania karon, nga didto siya sa haduol sa suba;
And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.
2 Ug ania karon, gikan sa suba misaka ang pito ka mga vaca nga maanindot sa panagway, ug hilabihan gayud pagkatambok, ug nanagsibsib sila sa mga kabugangan:
And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favored cows and fat; and they fed in a meadow.
3 Ug ania karon, may laing pito ka mga vaca nga misaka sa ulahi nila gikan sa suba, mangil-ad sa panagway, ug mga maniwang sa unod, ug nanag-urong sila duol sa mga vaca nga mga maanindot didto sa daplin sa suba.
And, behold, seven other cows came up after them out of the river, ill favored and skinney; and stood by the other cows on the brink of the river.
4 Ug ang mga vaca nga mangil-ad sa panagway ug maniwang sa unod, mingsubad sa pito ka mga vaca nga maanindot ug matambok kaayo. Ug nahagmata si Faraon.
And the ill favored and skinney cows did eat up the seven well favored and fat cows. So Pharaoh awoke.
5 Ug mikatulog siya pag-usab, ug nagdamgo siya sa ikaduha; ug, ania karon, may pito ka uhay nga puno ug maanindot mibuswak kini sa usa lamang ka uhot.
And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up on one stalk, rank and good.
6 Ug ania karon, may pito ka uhay nga gagmay ug nakusokuso sa hangin sa silangan, nga nanagpanggula sa ulah niini;
And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.
7 Ug ang pito ka uhay nga gagmay mingsubad sa pito ka uhay nga matambok ug puno. Ug nahagmata si Faraon, ug, tan-awa, nga damgo man diay kadto.
And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.
8 Ug nahitabo nga sa pagkabuntag naghiwasa ang iyang espiritu; ug nagsugo siya ug gipatawag niya ang tanan nga mga salamangkero sa Egipto, ug ang tanan niya nga mga manggialamon: ug si Faraon nagsugilon kanila sa iyang mga damgo, apan walay bisan kinsa nga nakagsaysay sa kahulogan niini kang Faraon.
And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them to Pharaoh.
9 Unya ang pangulo sa mga magtitiing misulti kang Faraon nga nagaingon: Nahinumdum ako karong adlawa sa akong mga sayup:
Then spoke the chief butler to Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
10 Si Faraon nasuko sa iyang mga alagad, ug ako gibutang niya sa bilanggoan sa balay sa pangulo sa magbalantay, ako ug ang pangulo sa mga magbubuhat sa tinapay:
Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker:
11 Ug nagdamgo kami ug usa ka damgo sa maong gabii, ako ug siya: kami nagdamgo, ang tagsatagsa sumala sa pahayag sa kahulogan sa iyang damgo.
And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.
12 Ug nakaipon kanamo didto ang usa ka batan-on nga Hebreohanon, nga mag-aalagad sa pangulo sa mga bantay; ug siya gisuginlan namo, ug siya nagpahayag kanamo sa kahulogan sa among mga damgo; sa tagsatagsa gipahayag niya ang tagsatagsa ingon sa iyang damgo.
And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.
13 Ug nahatabo nga ingon sa iyang gipahayag kanamo, natuman kini; gipabalik ako sa akong katungdanan, ug gipabitay ang usa.
And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored to my office, and him he hanged.
14 Unya si Faraon nagsugo ug gipatawag niya si Jose; ug siya gipagula nila sa madali gikan sa bilanggoan; ug nanghimungot usa siya, ug nag-ilis sa iyang mga bisti, ug miadto kang Faraon.
Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in to Pharaoh.
15 Ug miingon si Faraon kang Jose: Ako nagdamgo ug usa ka damgo, ug walay bisan kinsa nga nakasaysay sa kahulogan niini; ug nakadungog ako ug balita mahatungod kanimo, nga kong ikaw makadungog ug mga damgo, ikaw makahimo sa pagsaysay sa kahulogan niini.
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of you, that you can understand a dream to interpret it.
16 Ug mitubag si Jose kang Faraon, nga nagaingon: Kini wala kanako; ang Dios mao ang magahatag ug tubag sa pakigdait kang Faraon.
And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
17 Unya si Faraon miingon kang Jose: Sa akong damgo, ania karon, nga didto ako sa daplin sa suba.
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood on the bank of the river:
18 Ug ania karon, misaka gikan sa suba ang pito ka vaca nga matambok ug unod ug maanindot sa panagway, ug sila nanagsibsib sa kabugangan.
And, behold, there came up out of the river seven cows, fat and well favored; and they fed in a meadow:
19 Ug ania karon, nga may laing pito ka mga vaca nga misaka sa ulahi nila, nga maniwang ug nga mangil-ad kaayo sa panagway, nga hilabihan pagkaniwang nga wala pa ako makakita ug sama niini sa kangil-ad sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto:
And, behold, seven other cows came up after them, poor and very ill favored and skinney, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:
20 Ug ang mga vaca nga maniwang ug nga mangil-ad, misubad sa nahaunang pito ka vaca nga matambok:
And the lean and the ill favored cows did eat up the first seven fat cows:
21 Ug sa nasubad na nila, dili hiilhan nga nakasubad sila niini, kay mangil-ad man gihapon sila, ingon sa sinugdan. Niana nahagmata ako.
And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favored, as at the beginning. So I awoke.
22 Ug, nakita ko sa akong damgo ug ania karon, ang pito ka uhay nga mga puno ug maayo mibuswak sa usa ka uhot.
And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good:
23 Ug, ania karon, ang laing pito ka uhay nga laya, manipis, ug kinusokuso sa hangin sa silangan, mibuswak sa ulahi niini.
And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:
24 Ug ang uhay nga manipis mingsubad sa pito ka mga uhay nga maanindot: ug gisugilon ko kini sa mga manggialamon, apan walay bisan kinsa nga nakagsaysay sa kahulogan kanako niini.
And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this to the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.
25 Ug mitubag si Jose kang Faraon: Ang damgo ni Faraon usa lamang: ang Dios nagpahayag kang Faraon sa haduol na niyang pagabuhaton.
And Joseph said to Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God has showed Pharaoh what he is about to do.
26 Ang pito ka mga vaca nga maanindot mao ang pito ka tuig; ug ang mga uhay nga maanindot mao ang pito ka tuig: ang damgo usa lamang.
The seven good cows are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.
27 Ug ang pito ka mga vaca nga maniwang ug mangil-ad, nga misaka sa ulahi niini, mao ang pito ka tuig; ug ang pito ka uhay nga walay unod nga kinusokuso sa hangin sa silangan, sila mao ang pito ka tuig nga gutom.
And the seven thin and ill favored cows that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.
28 Mao kini ang ginasulti ko kang Faraon. Ang haduol nang pagabuhaton sa Dios, ginapakita niya kang Faraon.
This is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh: What God is about to do he shows to Pharaoh.
29 Ania karon, moabut ang pito ka tuig sa dakung pagkadagaya sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto:
Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:
30 Ug niini sa ulahi moabut ang pito ka tuig nga gutom; ug ang tibook nga pagkadagaya pagahikalimtan sa yuta sa Egipto; ug ang gutom magalaglag sa yuta.
And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;
31 Ug kadtong kadagaya dili na hibaloan tungod sa gutom nga mosunod, nga hilabihan pagkalisud.
And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous.
32 Ug tungod niini ang damgo gihimo sa nakaduha kang Faraon tungod kay ang maong butang gitukod sa Dios, ug nga ang Dios nagadali sa pagbuhat niini.
And for that the dream was doubled to Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
33 Busa, mangita karon si Faraon ug usa ka tawo nga buotan ug makinaadmanon, ug igabutang siya sa ibabaw sa yuta sa Egipto.
Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.
34 Buhaton kini ni Faraon, ug magbutang siya ug mga magtatan-aw sa ibabaw sa kayutaan ug pagakuhaon, ang ikalima ka bahin sa yuta sa Egipto sulod sa pito ka tuig nga kadagaya.
Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.
35 Ug ipatigum nila ang tanan nga kalan-on niining maayong tuig nga moabut, ug ang trigo nga moabut tingbon nila sa ilalum sa kamot ni Faraon nga sa kalan-on sa mga kalungsoran; ug kini patipigan mo kanila.
And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.
36 Ug ang kalan-on patipigan mo alang sa kayutaan, tagana sa pito ka tuig nga gutom nga mahitabo sa yuta sa Egipto; aron ang yuta dili malaglag tungod sa gutom.
And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.
37 Ug ang butang nakapahamuot sa mga mata ni Faraon ug sa mga mata sa iyang mga alagad.
And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.
38 Ug si Faraon nagaingon sa iyang mga alagad, Makakaplag ba kaha kita ug usa ka tawo nga ingon niini, nga kaniya anaa ang Espiritu sa Dios?
And Pharaoh said to his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
39 Ug si Faraon miingon kang Jose: Tungod kay ang Dios nagpahibalo kanimo niining tanan, walay bisan kinsa nga buotan ug manggialamon nga sama kanimo.
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, For as much as God has showed you all this, there is none so discreet and wise as you are:
40 Ikaw magagahum sa akong panimalay, ug sumala sa imong pulong magadumala ikaw sa akong tibook nga katawohan. Sa akong trono lamang nga ako labaw kay kanimo.
You shall be over my house, and according to your word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than you.
41 Ug si Faraon miingon kang Jose: Tan-awa, ginabutang ko ikaw sa ibabaw sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto.
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.
42 Ug gikuha ni Faraon ang singsing sa iyang kamot, ug gibutang niya sa kamot ni Jose, ug gibistihan siya sa mga panapton nga lino nga labing fino, ug gibutangan siya ug usa ka kolintas nga bulawan sa liog.
And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it on Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in clothing of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;
43 Ug gipasakay siya sa iyang ikaduha ka carro nga iyang kaugalingon, ug nanagsinggit sila sa atubangan niya: Pangluhod kamo. Ug gibutang siya ibabaw sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto.
And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.
44 Ug si Faraon miingon kang Jose: Ako mao si Faraon, gawas kanimo walay tawo nga makapatindog sa iyang kamot kun sa iyang tiil sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto.
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without you shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.
45 Ug si Faraon naghingalan kang Jose, Zaphnath-paaneah, ug gihatag kaniya nga asawa si Asenath, anak nga babaye ni Potipherah, sacerdote sa On. Ug milibod si Jose sa yuta sa Egipto.
And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.
46 Ug si Jose may panuigon na nga katloan ka tuig, sa pag-atubang niya kang Faraon nga hari sa Egipto. Ug si Jose mipahawa sa atubangan ni Faraon, ug milibod sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto.
And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.
47 Ug giabut ang yuta niadtong pito ka mga tuig sa kadagaya sa daghanan nga mga tinapok.
And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls.
48 Ug gitigum niya sulod sa pito ka tuig ang tanan nga makaon nga diha sa yuta sa Egipto, ug gitigum kini sa mga dapa sa mga kalungsoran; ginabutang niya sa tagsa ka lungsod ang makaon sa kaumahan libot sa maong lungsod.
And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.
49 Ug gitigum ni Jose ang trigo nga ingon sa balas sa dagat, hilabihan pagkadaghan, hangtud nga wala na siya makaihap; kay dili na gayud maihap.
And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.
50 Ug nangatawo kang Jose ang duruha ka anak nga mga lalake sa wala pa umabut ang nahauna nga tuig sa gutom, nga sila gianak kaniya ni Asenath, anak nga babaye ni Potipherah, nga sacerdote sa On.
And to Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bore to him.
51 Ug gihinganlan ni Jose ang ngalan sa panganay si Manases; kay, matud niya, ang Dios nagpahikalimot kanako sa tanan ko nga kahago, ug sa tibook nga panimalay sa akong amahan.
And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, has made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.
52 Ug ang ngalan sa ikaduha gihinganlan niya si Ephraim: kay ang Dios naghimo kanako nga mabungaon sulod sa yuta sa akong kaguol.
And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.
53 Ug natapus ang pito ka tuig sa kadagaya didto sa yuta sa Egipto.
And the seven years of plenty, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended.
54 Ug misugod sa pag-abut ang pito ka tuig nga gutom, sumala sa giingon ni Jose: ug dihay gutom sa tanan nga kayutaan, apan sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto dihay tinapay.
And the seven years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.
55 Ug sa pagbati ug gutom sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto, ang katawohan mitu-aw kang Faraon tungod sa makaon. Ug miingon si Faraon sa tanan nga mga Egiptohanon: Pangadto kamo kang Jose; ug buhaton ninyo ang iyang igaingon kaninyo.
And when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, Go to Joseph; what he says to you, do.
56 Ug ang gutom milukop na sa tibook nga nawong sa yuta. Unya gibuksan ni Jose ang tanan nga kamalig, ug gibaligyaan niya ang mga Egiptohanon; ug daku uyamut ang gutom sa yuta sa Egipto.
And the famine was over all the face of the earth: and Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold to the Egyptians; and the famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt.
57 Ug ang tanan nga kayutaan miadto sa Egipto sa pagpamalit ug trigo kang Jose, kay sa tibook nga kayutaan midaku na ang gutom.
And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.
