Esdras 8

1 Karon kini mao ang mga pangulo sa mga balay sa ilang mga amahan, ug kini mao ang kagikanan niadtong ming-adto uban kanako gikan sa Babilonia, sa paghari ni Artajerjes nga hari:

These are now the chiefe fathers of them, and the genealogie of them that came vp with mee from Babel, in the reigne of King Artahshashte.

2 Sa mga anak nga lalake ni Phinees, si Gerson. Sa mga anak nga lalake ni Ithamar, si Daniel. Sa mga anak nga lalake ni David, si Hattus.

Of the sonnes of Phinehas, Gershom: of the sonnes of Ithamar, Daniel: of the sonnes of Dauid, Hattush:

3 Sa mga anak nga lalake ni Sechanias, sa mga anak nga lalake ni Phares, si Zacharias; ug uban kaniya giihap sumala sa kaagi sa kagikanan sa mga lalake ang usa ka gatus ug kalim-an.

Of the sonnes of Shechaniah, of the sonnes of Pharosh, Zechariah, and with him the count of the males, an hundreth and fiftie.

4 Sa mga anak nga lalake ni Pahath-moab, si Elioenai, ang anak nga lalake ni Zarahi; ug uban kaniya may duha ka gatus ka lalake.

Of the sonnes of Pahath Moab, Elihoenai, the sonne of Zerahiah, and with him two hundreth males.

5 Sa mga anak nga lalake ni Sechanias, ang anak nga lalake ni Jahasiel; ug uban kaniya may totolo ka gatus ka lalake.

Of the sonnes of Shechaniah, the sonne of Iahaziel, and with him three hundreth males.

6 Ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Adin, si Ebed ang anak nga lalake ni Jonathan; ug uban kaniya may kalim-an ka lalake,

And of the sonnes of Adin, Ebed the sonne of Ionathan, and with him fiftie males.

7 Ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Elam, si Isia ang anak nga lalake ni Athalias; ug uban kaniya may kapito-an ka lalake.

And of the sonnes of Elam, Ieshaiah the sonne of Athaliah, and with him seuentie males.

8 Ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Sephatias, si Zebadias ang anak nga lalake ni Michael; ug uban kaniya may kawaloan ka lalake.

And of the sonnes of Shephatiah, Zebadiah the sonne of Michael, and with him fourescore males.

9 Sa mga anak nga lalake ni Joab, si Obadias ang anak nga lalake ni Jehiel; ug uban kaniya may duha ka gatus napulo ug walo ka lalake.

Of the sonnes of Ioab, Obadiah the sonne of Iehiel, and with him two hundreth and eighteene males.

10 Ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Solomith, ang anak nga lalake ni Josiphias; ug uban kaniya may usa ka gatus kan-uman ka lalake.

And of the sonnes of Shelomith the sonne of Iosiphiah, and with him an hundreth and threescore males.

11 Ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Bebai, si Zacharias ang anak nga lalake ni Bebai, ug uban kaniya may kaluhaan ug walo ka lalake.

And of the sonnes of Bebai, Zechariah the sonne of Bebai, and with him eight and twentie males.

12 Ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Azgad, si Johanan ang anak nga lalake ni Catan; ug uban kaniya may usa ka gatus ug napulo ka lalake.

And of the sonnes of Azgad, Iohanan the sonne of Hakkatan, and with him an hundreth and ten males.

13 Ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Adonican, nga mao ang naulahi; ug kini mao ang ilang mga ngalan: si Eliphelet, si Jeiel, ug si Semaias; ug uban kanila may kan-uman ka lalake.

And of the sonnes of Adonikam, that were the last, whose names are these: Eliphelet, Iehiel and Shemaiah, and with them three score males.

14 Ug sa mga anak nga lalake ni Bigvai, si Utai ug si Zabud; ug uban kanila may kapitoan ka lalake.

And of the sonnes of Biguai, Vthai, and Zabbud, and with them seuentie males.

15 Ug gitigum ko sila sa pagtingub didto sa suba nga nagabaha ngadto sa Ahava; ug didto kami mingpahaluna sulod sa totolo ka adlaw: ug akong nakita ang katawohan, ug ang mga sacerdote, ug wala ako makakaplag didto ug usa sa mga anak nga lalake ni Levi.

And I gathered them to the Riuer that goeth toward Ahaua, and there abode we three dayes: then I viewed the people, and the Priests, and found there none of the sonnes of Leui.

16 Unya akong gipakuha si Eliezer, si Ariel, si Semaias, ug si Elnathan, ug si Jarib, ug si Elnathan, ug si Nathan, ug si Zacharias, ug si Mesullam, mga tawo nga pangulo; si Joiarib usab, ug si Elnathan, nga mga magtutudlo.

Therefore sent I to Eliezer, to Ariel, to Shemeiah, and to Elnathan, and to Iarib, and to Elnathan, and to Nathan, and to Zechariah, and to Meshullam the chiefe, and to Ioiarib and to Elnathan, men of vnderstanding,

17 Ug akong gipaadto sila ngadto kang Iddo ang pangulo sa dapit sa Casipia; ug ako silang gisuginlan kong unsa ang ilang igapamulong kang Iddo, ug sa iyang mga kaigsoonan ang mga Nethinhanon sa dapit sa Casipia, nga sila magdala nganhi kanato mga alagad alang sa balay sa atong Dios.

And I gaue them commandement, to Iddo the chiefest at the place of Casiphia, and I told them the words that they should speake to Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims at the place of Casiphia, that they should cause the ministers of the house of our God to come vnto vs.

18 Ug sumala sa maayong pagmando sa atong Dios kanato, sila nagdala nganhi kanato usa ka tawo nga mabuot, gikan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Mahali, anak nga lalake ni Levi, anak nga lalake sa Israel; ug si Serabias, uban ang iyang mga anak nga lalake ug ang iyang mga kaigsoonan, napulo ug walo,

So by the good hande of our God which was vpon vs, they brought vs a man of vnderstanding of the sonnes of Mahali the sonne of Leui the sonne of Israel, and Sherebiah with his sonnes and his brethren, euen eighteene.

19 Ug si Hasabias, ug uban kaniya si Isaia sa mga anak nga lalake ni Merari, iyang mga kaigsoonan ug ang ilang mga anak nga lalake, kaluhaan;

Also Hashabiah, and with him Ieshaiah of the sonnes of Merari, with his brethren, and their sonnes twentie.

20 Ug sa mga Nethinhanon, nga gihatagan ni David sa mga principe alang sa pag-alagad sa mga Levihanon, may duha ka gatus ug kaluhaan ka mga Nethinhanon: ngatanan sila gipanghinganlan sa ilang ngalan.

And of the Nethinims, whom Dauid had set, and the Princes for the seruice of the Leuites, two hundreth and twentie of the Nethinims, which all were named by name.

21 Unya ako nagmantala ug usa ka pagpuasa didto, didto sa suba sa Ahava, aron kami magpaubos sa among kaugalingon sa atubangan sa among Dios, sa pagpangita gikan kaniya sa usa ka matul-id nga dalan alang kanamo, ug alang sa among mga kabataan, ug alang sa tibook namo nga bahandi.

And there at the Riuer, by Ahaua, I proclaimed a fast, that we might humble our selues before our God, and seeke of him a right way for vs, and for our children, and for all our substance.

22 Kay ako naulaw sa hari sa pagpangayo ug usa ka panon sa mga sundalo ug mga magkakabayo aron sa pagtabang kanamo batok sa kaaway nga ihibalag sa dalan, tungod kay kami nakapamulong sa hari, nga nagaingon: Ang kamot sa among Dios anaa sa ibabaw kanila nga nagapangita kaniya, alang sa kaayohan; apan ang iyang gahum ug ang iyang kaligutgut batok kanilang tanan nga mingsalikway kaniya.

For I was ashamed to require of the King an armie and horsemen, to helpe vs against the enemie in the way, because we had spoken to the King, saying, The hande of our God is vpon all them that seeke him in goodnesse, but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

23 Busa kami nagpuasa ug nagpakilooy sa among Dios tungod niini: ug siya nalukmay namo.

So we fasted, aud besought our God for this: and he was intreated of vs.

24 Unya akong gilain ang napulo ug duha sa mga pangulong sacerdote, bisan si Serebias, si Hasabias ug napulo sa ilang mga kaigsoonan uban kanila.

Then I separated twelue of the chiefe of the Priests, Sherebiah, and Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,

25 Ug gitimbang alang kanila ang salapi, ug ang bulawan, ug ang mga sudlanan, bisan ang hinalad alang sa balay sa among Dios, nga gihalad sa hari ug sa iyang mga magtatambag, ug sa iyang mga principe, ug sa tibook Israel nga didto mingtambong:

And weighed them the siluer and the gold, and the vessels, euen the offring of ye house of our God, which the King and his counselers, and his Princes, and all Israel that were present had offred.

26 Akong gitimbang ngadto sa ilang kamot ang unom ka gatus ug kalim-an ka talento nga salapi, ug mga salaping sudlanan usa ka gatus ka talento; sa bulawan usa ka gatus ka talento;

And I weighed vnto their hand sixe hundreth and fiftie talents of siluer, and in siluer vessel, an hundreth talents, and in golde, an hundreth talents:

27 Ug kaluhaan ka panaksan nga bulawan, sa usa ka libo ka dracma; ug duha ka sudlanan nga fino, masinaw nga tumbaga, bililhon sama sa bulawan.

And twentie basins of golde, of a thousand drammes, and two vessels of shining brasse very good, and precious as golde.

28 Ug ako miingon kanila: Kamo mga balaan kang Jehova, ug ang mga sudlanan mga balaan; ug ang salapi ug ang bulawan maoy usa ka halad-nga-kinabubut-on ngadto kang Jehova, ang Dios sa inyong mga amahan.

And I said vnto them, Ye are consecrate vnto the Lord, and the vessels are consecrate, and the gold and the siluer are freely offred vnto the Lord God of your fathers.

29 Magmatngon kamo, ug bantayi kini hangtud nga timbangon ninyo kini sa atubangan sa mga pangulo nga mga sacerdote ug sa mga Levihanon, ug sa mga principe sa mga balay sa mga amahan sa Israel, didto sa Jerusalem sulod sa mga lawak sa balay ni Jehova.

Watch ye, and keepe them vntill ye weigh them before the chiefe Priestes and the Leuites, and the chiefe fathers of Israel in Ierusalem in the chambers of the house of the Lord.

30 Busa ang mga sacerdote ug ang mga Levihanon mingdawat sa timbang sa salapi ug sa bulawan, ug sa mga sudlanan, aron dad-on kini ngadto sa Jerusalem sa balay sa among Dios.

So the Priests and the Leuites receiued the weight of the siluer and of the golde, and of the vessels to bring them to Ierusalem, vnto the house of our God.

31 Unya kami mingpahawa gikan sa suba sa Ahava sa ikanapulo ug duha ka adlaw sa nahaunang bulan, aron sa pag-adto sa Jerusalem: ug ang kamot sa among Dios nag-uban kanamo, ug iyang giluwas kami gikan sa kamot sa kaaway ug sa mga nanagbanhig sa daplin sa dalan.

Then we departed from the Riuer of Ahauah on the twelft day of the first moneth, to go vnto Ierusalem, and the hand of our God was vpon vs, and deliuered vs from the hand of the enemie, and of such as layde waite by the way.

32 Ug kami ming-abut sa Jerusalem, ug mingpuyo didto sulod sa totolo ka adlaw.

And we came to Ierusalem, and abode there three dayes.

33 Ug sa ikaupat ka adlaw ang salapi ug bulawan ug ang mga sudlanan gipanimbang diha sa balay sa among Dios ngadto sa kamot ni Meremoth, ang anak nga lalake ni Urias nga sacerdote (ug uban kaniya mao si Eleazar ang anak nga lalake ni Phinees: ug uban kanila mao si Jozabad ang anak nga lalake ni Jesua, ug si Noadias ang anak nga lalake ni Binnui, ang mga Levihanon)

And on ye fourth day was the siluer weighed, and the golde and the vessell in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the sonne of Vriah the Priest, and with him was Eleazar the sonne of Phinehas, and with them was Iozabad the sonne of Ieshua, and Noadiah the sonne of Binnui the Leuites,

34 Ang tanan pinaagi sa gidaghanon ug sa timbang: ug ang tibook nga timbang nanghisulat niadtong panahona.

By number and by weight of euery one, and all the weight was written at the same time.

35 Ang mga anak sa pagkabinihag, nga mingbalik gikan sa pagkahininginlan, minghalad ug mga halad-nga-sinunog ngadto sa Dios sa Israel, napulo ug duha ka lakeng vaca alang sa tibook Israel, kasiyaman ug unom ka lakeng carnero, kapitoan ug pito ka nating carnero, napulo ug duha ka lakeng kanding alang sa usa ka halad-tungod-sa-sala: kining tanan maoy usa ka halad-nga-sinunog kang Jehova.

Also the children of the captiuitie, which were come out of captiuitie, offred burnt offrings vnto the God of Israel, twelue bullockes for all Israel, ninetie and sixe rammes, seuentie and seuen lambes, and twelue hee goates for sinne: all was a burnt offring of the Lord.

36 Ug ilang gihatag ang mga gisugo sa hari sa mga capitan, ug sa mga gobernador sa unahan sa Suba: ug ilang gitabangan ang katawohan ug ang balay sa Dios.

And they deliuered the Kings commission vnto the Kings officers, and to the captaines beyond the Riuer: and they promoted the people, and the house of God.
