Ezequiel 5

1 Ug ikaw, anak sa tawo, magkuha ka ug usa ka mahait nga pinuti; ang ingon sa navaja alang sa mag-aalot, kuhaon mo kana alang kanimo, ug isaghid kana sa imong ulo ug sa imong bungot: unya magkuha ka ug timbangan sa pagtimbang, ug bahina ang buhok.

And thou, son of man, take unto thyself a sharp sword, a barber's razor shalt thou take for it unto thyself, and cause it to pass over thy head and over thy beard: then take unto thee balances for weighing, and divide the hair.

2 Imong sunogon sa kalayo ang ikatolo ka bahin diha sa kinataliwad-an sa ciudad, sa diha nga ang mga adlaw sa pagsulong matuman na; ug kuhaon mo ang ikatolo ka bahin, ug ilibut mo kini nga pagatagudtagoron sa pinuti; ug ang usa nga ikatolo ka bahin isaliyab mo sa hangin, ug pagaibton ko ang akong espada sunod kanila.

One third part shalt thou burn with fire in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are completed; and thou shalt take another third part, and smite [it] round about it with the sword; and the other third part shalt thou scatter to the wind: and I will draw out a sword after the same.

3 Ug magkuha ka niana ug pipila lamang ang gidaghanon, ug ihigot mo sila sa mga sidsid sa imong bisti.

And take thence a few in number, and tie them up in the corners of thy garment.

4 Ug gikan niini magkuha ka pag-usab, ug itugpo kana sa taliwala sa kalayo, ug sunoga sila sa kalayo; kay gikan niana mogula ang kalayo ngadto sa tibook balay sa Israel.

And from these again shalt thou take some, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire: therefrom shall a fire go forth unto all the house of Israel.

5 Mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoong Jehova: Mao kini ang Jerusalem; gipahamutang ko siya sa taliwala sa mga nasud, ug ang kayutaan nagalibut kaniya.

Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, This is Jerusalem, which I had set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.

6 Ug siya misukol batok sa akong tulomanon pinaagi sa pagbuhat ug kadautan labi pa kay sa mga nasud, ug batok sa akong kabalaoran labaw pa kay sa kayutaan nga nagalibut kaniya; kay sila nanagdumili sa akong mga tulomanon, ug mahitungod sa akong kabalaoran, sila wala maglakaw diha niana.

But she rebelled against my ordinances more wickedly than the nations, and against my statutes, more than the countries that are round about her; for my ordinances they have despised, and as for my statutes, they have not walked in them.

7 Busa sa ingon niana misulti ang Ginoong Jehova: Tungod kay kamo samokan labaw pa kay sa mga nasud nga nagalibut kaninyo, ug wala magalakaw sa akong kabalaoran, ni magbantay sa akong mga tulomanon, ni magbuhat sumala sa mga tulomanon sa mga nasud nga nagalibut kaninyo;

Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because ye have given yourselves up to evil more than the nations that are round about you, have not walked in my statutes, and have not executed my ordinances, and not even acted according to the ordinances of the nations that are round about you:

8 Busa mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoong Jehova: Ania karon, ako, ako gayud, batok kanimo; ug ipakanaug ko ang mga paghukom sa taliwala nimo sa atubangan sa mga nasud.

Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I, also I am against thee, and I will execute judgments in the midst of thee before the eyes of the nations.

9 Ug buhaton ko kanimo kadtong wala pa nako mahimo, ug sa sama niana dili na ako magabuhat pag-usab, tungod sa tanan nimong mga dulumtanan.

And I will do in thee that which I have never done, and the like of which I will never do any more, because of all thy abominations.

10 Busa ang mga amahan magakaon sa mga anak sa taliwala nimo, ug ang mga anak magakaon sa ilang mga amahan; ug ipakanaug ko ang mga paghukom kanimo; ug ang tibook nga mahibilin kanimo pagapatlaagon ko ngadto sa tanang mga hangin.

Therefore fathers shall devour their children in the midst of thee, and children shall devour their fathers: and I will execute judgments on thee, and I will scatter all thy remnant unto all the winds.

11 Tungod niini, ingon nga ako buhi nagaingon ang Ginoong Jehova, sa pagkamatuod, tungod kay gihugawan mo ang akong balaang puloy-anan sa tanan mo nga makapaluod nga mga butang, ug sa tanan mong mga dulumtanan, busa pagapakunhoron ko ikaw; ni pagawason ko ikaw sa akong mata, ug ako usab dili malooy kanimo.

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord Eternal, Surely, because thou hast made unclean my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thy abominations: therefore will I also diminish [thee]; and my eye shall not show pity, and I also will not spare.

12 Ang ikatolo ka bahin kanimo mamatay sa kamatay, ug ang uban sa gutom sila pagaut-uton diha sa imong taliwala; ug ang ikatolo ka bahin mapukan pinaagi sa espada sa libut kanimo; ug pagapatlaagon ko ang ikatolo usab ka bahin ngadto sa tanang mga hangin, ug pagaibton ko ang espada sunod kanila.

A third part of thee shall die through the pestilence, and come through famine to their end in the midst of thee; and another third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and the other third part will I scatter unto all the winds, and a sword will I draw out after them.

13 Ingon niana ang akong kasuko mamatuman, ug akong pahunongon ang akong kaligutgut diha kanila, ug ako mamatagbaw: ug sila mahibalo nga ako, si Jehova, nagsulti sa akong pagsingkamot sa diha nga natuman na ang akong kasuko sa ibabaw nila.

Thus shall my anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will satisfy myself: and they shall know that I the Lord have spoken it in my zeal, when I have let out all my fury on them.

14 Labut pa buhaton ko ikaw nga biniyaan ug usa ka kaulawan sa taliwala sa mga nasud nga nagalibut kanimo, sa mga mata sa tanan nga managpangagi.

Yea, I will render thee a ruin, and a disgrace among the nations that are round about thee, before the eyes of every one that passeth by.

15 Busa kana mahimong usa ka kaulawan ug usa ka pagyubit, usa ka pagtulon-an ug usa nga makapahibulong, alang sa mga nasud nga nagalibut kanimo, sa diha nga ipakanaug ko ang mga paghukom kanimo sa kasuko ug sa kaligutgut, ug sa mapintas nga mga pagbadlong (Ako, si Jehova, namulong niini);

And she shall be a disgrace and a taunt, a warning and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I execute judgments on thee in anger and in fury and in furious chastisements, —I the Lord have spoken it, —

16 Sa diha nga ipadala ko sa ibabaw nila ang dautan nga mga udyong sa gutom, nga alang sa pagkalaglag, nga akong ipadala aron sa paglaglag kaninyo. Ug padakuon ko ang gutom diha kaninyo, ug putlon ko ang inyong gisaligan sa tinapay.

When I send out among them the dreadful arrows of famine, which [ever] were the cause of destruction, which I will send out to destroy you; and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break unto you the staff of bread:

17 Ug ipadala ko kaninyo ang gutom ug dautan nga mga mananap, ug sila magapasubo kanimo; ug ang kamatay ug ang dugo molatas kanimo; ug magadala ako ug espada diha kanimo: Ako, si Jehova, namulong niini.

So will I let loose over you famine and wild beasts, and they shall make thee childless; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and the sword will I bring over thee. I the Lord have spoken it.
