Exodo 9
1 Unya si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Umadto ka kang Faraon, ug ingnon mo siya: Si Jehova ang Dios sa mga Hebreohanon nagaingon niini: Tugoti sa pagpalakaw ang akong katawohan, aron sila makaalagad kanako.
Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, —then shalt thou say unto him—Thus, saith Yahweh, God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
2 Kay kong ikaw mosuki sa pagtugot kanila sa pagpalakaw, ug magpugong pa kanila.
But, if, refusing, thou art to let them go, —and still art holding them fast,
3 Ania karon, ang kamot ni Jehova magapaibabaw sa imong kahayupan nga anaa sa kaumahan, sa mga kabayo, mga asno, mga camello, mga vaca, ug mga carnero: moabut ang kamatay nga hilabihan gayud:
lo! the hand of Yahweh, is coming on thy cattle which are in the field, on the horses, on the asses on the camels, on the herds and on the flocks, —a very grievous pestilence;
4 Ug si Jehova magahimo ug kalainan sa taliwala sa kahayupan sa Israel ug sa kahayupan sa Egipto; ug walay mamatay sa tanan nga ila sa mga anak sa Israel.
and Yahweh will make a difference between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of the Egyptians, —so that there shall not die from among all that pertaineth to the sons of Israel, a thing!
5 Ug si Jehova nagtagal ug panahon nga nagaingon: Ugma pagabuhaton ni Jehova kining butanga dinhi sa yuta.
And Yahweh appointed a set time—saying, To-morrow, will Yahweh do this thing, in the land.
6 Ug sa adlaw nga misunod gibuhat ni Jehova kadto ug nangamatay ang tanan nga kahayupan sa Egipto; apan sa kahayupan sa mga anak sa Israel walay usa nga namatay.
So Yahweh did this thing, on the morrow, and all the cattle of the Egyptians died, —but of the cattle of the sons of Israel, died not one.
7 Ug si Faraon misugo; ug ania karon, nga sa kahayupan sa mga anak sa Israel walay usa nga namatay. Apan ang kasingkasing ni Faraon migahi ug wala niya tugoti sa pagpalakaw ang katawohan.
And Pharaoh sent, and lo! there had not died of the cattle of Israel, so much as one. But Pharaoh’s heart became dull, and he did not let the people go.
8 Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises ug kang Aaron: Kumuha kamo ug mga kinumkom nga abo gikan sa hudno, ug ipasablig ni Moises paingon sa langit sa atubangan ni Faraon:
Then said Yahweh unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take you your hands full of the ashes of an oven, —and Moses shall scatter them towards the heavens, before the eyes of Pharaoh:
9 Ug kini mahimong abug sa ibabaw sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto, ug mahimo nga hubag nga mamuto nga may nana sa tagsatagsa ka tawo, ug sa mananap, sa lukop sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto.
then shall they become fine dust, over all the land of Egypt, —and shall become on man and on beast, a burning sore, breaking out in pustules in all the land of Egypt.
10 Ug mikuha sila ug abo gikan sa hudno ug mitindog sila sa atubangan ni Faraon; ug kini gisablig ni Moises paingon sa langit, ug kini nahimong usa ka hubag nga mibuto nga may nana sa ibabaw sa tawo ug sa ibabaw sa mananap.
So they took the ashes of an oven and stood before Pharaoh, and Moses scattered them towards the heavens, —and it came to pass that there was a burning sore in pustules breaking out, among men, and among beasts;
11 Ug ang mga mago wala makahimo sa pagtindog sa atubangan ni Moises tungod sa mga hubag, kay ang mga hubag mitakboy sa mga mago, ug sa tanan nga mga Egiptohanon.
and the sacred scribes could not stand before Moses, because of the burning sore, —for the burning sore had come on the sacred scribes, and on all the Egyptians.
12 Ug gipagahi ni Jehova ang kasingkasing ni Faraon, ug siya wala magpatalinghug kanila, ingon sa gisulti ni Jehova kang Moises.
But Yahweh let the heart of Pharaoh wax bold, and he hearkened not unto them, —as spake Yahweh unto Moses.
13 Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Bumangon ka sa pagsayo sa buntag, ug tumindog ka sa atubangan ni Faraon, ug ingnon mo siya: Si Jehova ang Dios sa mga Hebreohanon nagaingon niini: Tugoti sa pagpalakaw ang akong katawohan aron sila makaalagad kanako.
Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Rise thou early in the morning, and station thyself before Pharaoh, —then shalt thou say unto him—Thus, saith Yahweh, God of the Hebrews, Let my people go that they may serve me;
14 Kay ako magapadala niining panahona sa tanan ko nga mga hampak sa ibabaw sa imong kasingkasing sa ibabaw sa imong mga alagad, ug sa ibabaw sa imong katawohan, aron mahibalo ikaw nga walay usa nga sama kanako sa tibook nga yuta.
for this time, am I, sending all my plagues unto thy heart, and amongst thy servants and amongst thy people, —to the intent thou mayest get to know, that there is none like me in all the earth.
15 Kay karon gibakyaw ko ang akong kamot ug gihampak ikaw, ug ang imong katawohan uban ang kamatay, ug ikaw gipabulag na gikan sa yuta.
For now, might I have put forth my hand, and smitten thee and thy people with pestilence, —and thou shouldst have secretly disappeared from the earth;
16 Apan sa pagkamatuod gipapadayon ko ikaw alang niining tuyoa, aron sa pagpakita kanimo sa akong gahum, ug aron ang akong ngalan igasangyaw sa tibook nga yuta.
but, in very deed for this purpose, have I let thee remain, for the purpose of showing thee my might, —and that my name may be celebrated in all the earth.
17 Nagpahataas ba ikaw gihapon sa imong kaugalingon batok sa akong katawohan, nga dili mo sila pagatugotan sa pagpalakaw?
Even yet, art thou exalting thyself over my people—in not letting them go?
18 Ania karon, ugma niining taknaa magapaulan ako ug hilabihan ka bug-at nga ulan-nga-yelo nga wala pa gayud mahitabo sa Egipto sukad sa adlaw sa iyang pagkatukod hangtud karon.
Behold me! raining down, about this time to-morrow, an exceeding heavy hail, —such as hath not been in Egypt, from the day it was founded, even unto the present time.
19 Busa karon, magsugo ka, sa pagpahipus sa imong kahayupan, ug sa tanan nga imo nga anaa sa kaumahan; kay ang tagsatagsa ka tawo kun mananap nga makaplagan diha sa uma, ug dili mahipus sa balay ang nga ulan-nga-yelo magabundak sa ibabaw niya, ug mamatay siya.
Now, therefore, send—bring into safety thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field, —as touching all men and beasts which shall be found in the field and shall not be withdrawn into shelter, the hail shall come down upon them and they shall die.
20 Siya nga nahadlok sa pulong ni Jehova sa kinataliwad-an sa mga sulogoon ni Faraon, nagpakalagiw sa iyang mga binatonan ug sa iyang kahayupan ngadto sa mga balay:
He that feared the word of Yahweh, among the servants of Pharaoh, made his servants and his cattle flee, under shelter:
21 Ug siya nga wala magtagad sa pulong ni Jehova, nagpasagad sa iyang mga binatonan ug sa iyang kahayupan sa uma.
but, whoso applied not his heart unto the word of Yahweh, left his servants and his cattle in the field.
22 Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Tuy-ora ang imong kamot ngadto sa langit aron moabut ang ulan-nga-yelo sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto, sa ibabaw sa mga tawo, ug sa ibabaw sa kamananapan, ug sa ibabaw sa tanan nga balili, sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto.
Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Stretch forth thy hand over the heavens, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, —on man and on beast, and on every herb of the field in the land of Egypt.
23 Ug gituy-od ni Moises ang iyang sungkod ngadto sa langit, ug gipadalogdog ni Jehova, ug gipaulan ug ulan-nga-yelo ug ang kalayo midalagan ngadto sa yuta: ug gipaulan ni Jehova ug ulan-nga-yelo sa ibabaw sa yuta sa Egipto.
So Moses stretched forth his staff over the heavens, and, Yahweh, gave forth thunderings and hail, and there came fire towards the earth, —and Yahweh rained down hail, on the land of Egypt.
24 Busa, dihay ulan-nga-yelo ug kalayo nga nasagol sa ulan-nga-yelo, nga hilabihan ka daku nga wala pa gayud ing ingon sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto sukad kini nahimong nasud.
So there came to be hail, and fire catching hold of itself, in the midst of the hail, —exceeding heavy, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt, from the very time it became a nation.
25 Ug ang ulan-nga-yelo mihampak sa tibook nga yuta sa Egipto sa tanan nga diha sa kaumahan, sa mga tawo ug usab sa mga mananap; ug ang ulan-nga-yelo mihampak sa tanan nga balili sa kaumahan, ug mibali sa tanan nga mga kahoy sa yuta.
And the hail smote in all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast, —and every herb of the field, did the hail smite, and every tree of the field, did it shiver.
26 Sa yuta lamang sa Gosen diin nanagpuyo ang mga anak sa Israel walay ulan-nga-yelo.
Only in the land of Goshen, where were the sons of Israel, was there no hail.
27 Ug si Faraon nagsugo sa pagpatawag kang Moises ug kang Aaron, ug miingon kanila: Nakasala ako niining panahona. Si Jehova matarung, ug ako ug ang akong katawohan mga dautan.
Then sent Pharaoh, and called for Moses and for Aaron, and said unto them—I have sinned this time, —Yahweh, is the righteous one, and, I and my people, are the wrong-doers.
28 Pag-ampo kamo kang Jehova; kay igo na kining dagkung mga dalogdog ug ulan-nga-yelo; ug ako magatugot sa pagpalakaw kaninyo, ug kamo dili na magapabilin dinhi.
Make ye request unto Yahweh, and it shall be enough without there being any more thunderings of God, and hail, —and I must a let you go, and not again shall ye delay.
29 Ug si Moises miingon kaniya: Sa labing madali nga ako makagula sa lungsod, pagatuy-oron ko ang akong mga kamot ngadto kang Jehova; ug ang mga dalogdog moundang, ug wala nay ulan-nga-yelo; aron masayud ka nga ang yuta iya ni Jehova.
And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, will I spread out my hands unto Yahweh, —the thunderings, shall cease, and, the hail, shall come no more, —that thou mayest know, that to Yahweh, belongeth the earth.
30 Apan mahatungod kanimo, ug sa imong mga alagad, nahibalo ako nga dili pa kamo mahadlok kang Jehova nga Dios.
But as touching thee and thy servants, I know that not yet will ye stand in awe of Yahweh Elohim.
31 Ang lino ug ang cebada gipoo, kay ang cebada nagauhay na ug ang lino nagabulak.
Now, the flax and the barley, were smitten, —for the barley, was in the ear, and, the flax, was in flower;
32 Apan ang trigo ug ang senteno wala pagpohoa, kay sila wala patuboa.
but the wheat and the spelt, were not smitten, —for they were, not ripe.
33 Ug si Moises migula sa ciudad gikan kang Faraon, ug gituy-od niya ang iyang mga kamot ngadto kang Jehova, ug ang mga dalogdog ug ang ulan-nga-yelo, miundang ug ang ulan wala na ibubo sa ibabaw sa yuta.
So Moses went away from Pharaoh out of the city, and spread out his hands unto Yahweh, —then did the thunderings and the hail cease, and, rain, was not poured out on the earth.
34 Ug sa pagtan-aw ni Faraon nga ang ulan, ug ang ulan-nga-yelo, ug ang mga dalogdog miundang, siya nagpakasala paglabi, ug nagpatig-a sa iyang kasingkasing, siya ug ang iyang mga alagad.
And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunderings had ceased, he again sinned, —and made his heart dull, he, and his servants.
35 Ug ang kasingkasing ni Faraon mitig-a, ug siya wala motugot sa pagpalakaw sa mga anak sa Israel, ingon sa gisulti ni Jehova pinaagi kang Moises.
And the heart of Pharaoh waxed bold, and he did not let the sons of Israel go, —as spake Yahweh by the hand of Moses.
