Exodo 3

1 Karon si Moises nagbantay sa panon sa mga carnero ni Jetro nga iyang ugangan, ang sacerdote sa Median; ug siya nagdala sa panon sa mga carnero sa likod sa kamingawan ug miadto sa Horeb, nga bukid sa Dios.

Now Moses [Drawn out] was keeping the flock of Jethro [Abundance], his father-in-law, the priest of Midian [Strife], and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb [Desert].

2 Ug nagpakita kaniya ang manolonda ni Jehova sa usa ka siga sa kalayo sa taliwala sa usa ka sapinit. Ug siya mitan-aw, ug ania karon, ang sapinit misiga sa kalayo, ug ang sapinit wala maugdaw.

Ha mal'ak Yahweh [The Angel of He sustains breathing] appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the middle of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

3 Unya si Moises miingon: Moadto ako karon ug tan-awon ko kining dakung talan-awon, kong unsa ang hinungdan nga ang sapinit wala man masunog.

Moses [Drawn out] said, “I will turn aside now and see this great sight; why the bush is not being burned up?”

4 Ug sa nakita ni Jehova, nga moadto siya sa pagtan-aw, ang Dios mitawag kaniya sa taliwala sa sapinit ug miingon: Moises, Moises. Ug siya mitubag: Ania ako.

When Adonai saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the middle of the bush, and said, “Moses [Drawn out]! Moses [Drawn out]!” He said, “Here I am.”

5 Ug miingon siya: Dili ka magduol dinhi. Huboa ang imong mga sandalias gikan sa imong mga tiil, kay ang dapit nga imong gitindogan, yuta nga balaan.

He said, “Don’t come close. Take your sandals off of your feet, for the place you are standing on is holy ground.”

6 Labut pa miingon: Ako mao ang Dios sa imong amahan, ang Dios ni Abraham, ang Dios ni Isaac, ang Dios ni Jacob. Unya si Moises mitabon sa iyang nawong, kay siya nahadlok sa pagtan-aw sa Dios.

Moreover he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham [Father of a multitude], the God of Isaac [Laughter], and the God of Jacob [Supplanter].” Moses [Drawn out] hid his face; for he was afraid to look at God.

7 Ug miingon si Jehova: Nakita ko pag-ayo ang kaguol sa akong katawohan nga atua sa Egipto, ug hingdunggan ko ang ilang pagtu-aw tungod sa ilang tinugyanan sa buhat kay naila ko ang ilang kalisdanan.

Adonai said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt [Abode of slavery], and have sh'ma ·heard obeyed· their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

8 Ug nanaug ako sa pagluwas kanila sa kamot sa mga Egiptohanon, ug sa pagkuha kanila gikan niadtong yutaa ngadto sa usa ka yuta nga maayo ug halapad, sa yuta nga nagapaagay sa gatas ug dugos, sa mga dapit sa Canaanhon, sa Hetehanon, sa Amorehanon, sa Peresehanon, sa Hebehanon ug sa Jebusehanon,

I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery], and to bring them up out of that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Canaanite [Descendant of Humbled], the Hittite [Descendant of Trembling fear], the Amorite [Descendants of Talkers], the Perizzite [Descendant of Belonging to village], the Hivite [Wicked], and the Jebusite [Descendants of Thresher].

9 Ug karon, tan-awa, ang pagtu-aw sa mga anak sa Israel nagaabut sa akong atubangan: labut pa, nakita ko ang paglupig nga ginalupig kanila sa mga Egiptohanon.

Now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel [God prevails] has come to me. Moreover I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] oppress them.

10 Busa, umari ka karon, ug pagasugoon ko ikaw ngadto kang Faraon, aron kuhaon mo ang akong katawohan, ang mga anak sa Israel gikan sa Egipto.

Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people, the children of Israel [God prevails], out of Egypt [Abode of slavery].”

11 Unya si Moises mitubag sa Dios: Kinsa ba ako, aron ako moadto kang Faraon ug magakuha gikan sa Egipto sa mga anak sa Israel?

Moses [Drawn out] said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel [God prevails] out of Egypt [Abode of slavery]?”

12 Ug siya miingon: Sa pagkamatuod ako magauban kanimo, ug kini mao ang timaan alang kanimo nga ikaw akong gisugo: unya ugaling sa makuha mo na kining katawohan gikan sa Egipto, magaalagad kamo sa Dios sa ibabaw niining bukira.

He said, “Certainly I will be with you. This will be the token to you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt [Abode of slavery], you shall abad ·serve· God on this mountain.”

13 Ug miingon si Moises sa Dios: Ania karon, kong ako makadangat sa mga anak sa Israel, ug magaingon ako kanila: Ang Dios sa inyong mga ginikanan nagsugo kanako nganhi kaninyo: ug kong sila mangutana kanako: Kinsa ang iyang ngalan? unsa ang igatubag ko kanila?

Moses [Drawn out] said to God, “Behold, when I come to the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you;’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ What should I tell them?”

14 Ug mitubag ang Dios kang Moises: AKO MAN ANG MAO AKO: Ug miingon siya: Mao kini ang igaingon mo sa mga anak sa Israel: AKO MAN, mao ang nagsugo kanako nganha kaninyo.

God said to Moses [Drawn out], “I Am Who I Am,” and he said, “You shall tell the children of Israel [God prevails] this: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

15 Ug labut pa miingon ang Dios kang Moises: Mao kini ang igaingon mo sa mga anak sa Israel: Si Jehova, ang Dios sa inyong mga ginikanan, ang Dios ni Abraham, ang Dios ni Isaac ug ang Dios ni Jacob, nagsugo kanako nganhi kaninyo. Kini mao ang akong ngalan nga sa walay katapusan, kini mao ang handumanan sa tanan nga mga kaliwatan.

God said moreover to Moses [Drawn out], “You shall tell the children of Israel [God prevails] this, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham [Father of a multitude], the God of Isaac [Laughter], and the God of Jacob [Supplanter], has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.

16 Umadto ka ug tiguma ang mga anciano sa Israel, ug ingnon mo sila: Si Jehova, ang Dios sa inyong mga ginikanan, ang Dios ni Abraham, ni Isaac ug ni Jacob, mitungha kanako nga nagaingon: Sa pagkamatuod gidu-aw ko kamo, ug nakita ko ang ginabuhat kaninyo sa Egipto;

Go, and gather the elders of Israel [God prevails] together, and tell them, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham [Father of a multitude], of Isaac [Laughter], and of Jacob [Supplanter], has appeared to me, saying, “I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt [Abode of slavery];

17 Ug nag-ingon ako: Ako magakuha kaninyo sa kalisdanan gikan sa Egipto padulong sa yuta sa Canaanhon ug sa Hetehanon, ug sa Amorehanon, ug sa Persehanon, ug sa Hebehanon, ug sa Jebusehanon ngadto sa usa ka yuta nga nagapaagay sa gatas ug dugos.

and I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt [Abode of slavery] to the land of the Canaanite [Descendant of Humbled], the Hittite [Descendant of Trembling fear], the Amorite [Descendants of Talkers], the Perizzite [Descendant of Belonging to village], the Hivite [Wicked], and the Jebusite [Descendants of Thresher], to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’

18 Ug sila magapatalinghug sa imong tingog; ug ikaw moadto ug ang mga anciano sa Israel, sa hari sa Egipto, ug magaingon kamo kaniya: Si Jehova, ang Dios sa mga Hebreohanon, nagpakita kanamo; ug karon paadtoa kami, nangamuyo kami kanimo, sa totolo ka adlaw nga panaw ngadto sa kamingawan, aron maghalad kami kang Jehova nga among Dios.

They will sh'ma ·hear obey· your voice, and you shall come, you and the elders of Israel [God prevails], to the king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], and you shall tell him, ‘Adonai, the God of the Hebrews [Immigrants], has met with us. Now please let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to Adonai, our God.’

19 Ug nahibalo ako nga ang hari sa Egipto dili motugot kaninyo sa pagpalakaw, dili, kondili pinaagi sa usa ka kamot nga kusgan.

I know that the king of Egypt [Abode of slavery] won’t give you permission to go, no, not by a mighty hand.

20 Ug tuy-oron ko ang akong kamot ug pagasamaran ko ang Egipto uban ang tanan ko nga mga katingalahan nga pagabuhaton ko sa taliwala niini, ug sa tapus niana pagatugotan kamo niya sa pagpalakaw.

I will reach out my hand and strike Egypt [Abode of slavery] with all my wonders which I will do among them, and after that he will let you go.

21 Ug ako magahatag niining katawohan ug pagpahimuot sa atubangan sa mga mata sa mga Egiptohanon, ug mahitabo nga sa moadto na kamo, dili kamo magalakaw nga walay mga dala:

I will give this people chen ·grace· in the sight of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery], and it will happen that when you go, you shall not go empty handed.

22 Kondili nga ang tagsatagsa ka babaye magapangayo sa iyang silingan, ug sa humalapit nga babaye sa iyang balay, mga alahas nga salapi, mga alahas nga bulawan, ug mga bisti: nga kana ibutang ninyo sa ibabaw sa inyong mga anak nga lalake, ug sa inyong mga anak nga babaye, ug maagawan ninyo ang mga Egiptohanon.

But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her who visits her house, jewels of silver, jewels of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons, and on your daughters. You shall plunder the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery].”
