Exodo 14
1 Ug nagsulti si Jehova kang Moises nga nagaingon:
Then the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
2 Sultihan mo ang mga anak sa Israel nga managbalik sila, ug ipahamutang nila ang ilang campo sa dili pa moabut sa Pihahirot, sa taliwala sa Migdol ug sa dagat dapit sa Baal-sepon: sa atubangan niini ipahamutang ninyo ang campo sa haduol sa dagat.
Speake to the children of Israel, that they returne and campe before Pi-hahiroth, betweene Migdol and the Sea, ouer against Baal-zephon: about it shall ye campe by the Sea.
3 Ug si Faraon magaingon mahatungod sa mga anak sa Israel: Nalit-ag sila sa yuta, ang kamingawan naglukob kanila.
For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are tangled in the land: the wildernesse hath shut them in.
4 Ug pagapagahion ko ang kasingkasing ni Faraon ug iyang apason sila; ug pagahimayaon ako ni Faraon ug sa tanan niya nga kasundalohan, ug manghibalo ang mga Egiptohanon nga ako mao si Jehova. Ug sila nagbuhat sa ingon.
And I will harden Pharaohs heart that hee shall follow after you: so I will get mee honour vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his hoste: the Egyptians also shall knowe that I am the Lord: and they did so.
5 Ug gipahibalo ang hari sa Egipto nga ang katawohan mikalagiw: ug ang kasingkasing ni Faraon ug ang sa iyang mga alagad mibalik batok sa katawohan, ug miingon sila: Unsa kining atong gibuhat nga gitugotan ta ang pagpalakaw sa Israel aron nga dili sila kanato magaalagad?
Then it was told the King of Egypt, that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his seruants was turned against the people, and they sayde, Why haue we this done, and haue let Israel go out of our seruice?
6 Ug giandam niya ang iyang carro, ug gidala niya uban kaniya ang iyang katawohan:
And he made ready his charets, and tooke his people with him,
7 Ug gidala niya ang unom ka gatus ka carro nga pinili ug ang tanan nga mga carro sa Egipto, ug ang mga pangulo sa ibabaw nilang tanan.
And tooke sixe hundreth chosen charets, and all the charets of Egypt, and captaines ouer euery one of them.
8 Ug gipagahi ni Jehova ang kasingkasing ni Faraon nga hari sa Egipto, ug giapas niya ang mga anak sa Israel, kay ang mga anak sa Israel nanggikan nga adunay kamot nga gamhanan.
(For the Lord had hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he followed after the children of Israel: but the children of Israel went out with an hie hand)
9 Ug giapas sila sa mga Egiptohanon, uban ang tanan nga mga kabayo ug mga carro ni Faraon, ug ang iyang katawohan nga nagakabayo, ug ang iyang kasundalohan, ug sila hing-abutan nila nga nagpahamutang sa campo nga haduol sa dagat, sa luyo sa Pihahirot, sa wala pa moabut sa Baal-sepon.
And the Egyptians pursued after them, and all the horses and charets of Pharaoh, and his horsemen and his hoste ouertooke them camping by the Sea, beside Pi-hahiroth, before Baal-zephon.
10 Ug sa paghiduol ni Faraon, ang mga anak sa Israel nanagyahat sa ilang mga mata, ug ania karon, ang mga Egiptohanon nanagsunod kanila; ug nangahadlok sila pag-ayo, ug nanagtu-aw ang mga anak sa Israel kang Jehova.
And when Pharaoh drew nie, the children of Israel lift vp their eyes, and beholde, the Egyptians marched after them, and they were sore afrayde: wherefore the children of Israel cried vnto the Lord.
11 Ug miingon sila kang Moises: Tungod ba kay walay mga lubnganan sa Egipto, gikuha mo kami aron nga mangamatay kami sa kamingawan? Ngano ba nga nagbuhat ka sa ingon niini kanamo, nga gikuha mo kami sa Egipto?
And they sayde vnto Moses, Hast thou brought vs to die in the wildernes, because there were no graues in Egypt? wherefore hast thou serued vs thus, to carie vs out of Egypt?
12 Dili ba kini mao nga ginasulti namo kanimo sa Egipto nga nagaingon: Pasagdi lamang kami nga magaalagad sa mga Egiptohanon? Kay labing maayo pa kanamo ang pagalagad sa mga Egiptohanon, kay sa mangamatay kami sa kamingawan.
Did not wee tell thee this thing in Egypt, saying, Let vs be in rest, that we may serue the Egyptians? for it had bene better for vs to serue the Egyptians, then that wee shoulde dye in the wildernesse.
13 Ug si Moises miingon sa katawohan: Ayaw kahadlok; dili kamo maglihok, ug tan-awa ninyo ang kaluwasan ni Jehova, nga iyang pagabuhaton karon kaninyo; kay ang mga Egiptohanon nga inyong hikit-an karon, dili na ninyo hikit-an hangtud sa kahangturan.
Then Moses sayde to the people, Feare ye not, stand still, and beholde the saluation of the Lord which he will shew to you this day. For the Egyptians, whome ye haue seene this day, ye shall neuer see them againe.
14 Si Jehova makig-away alang kaninyo, ug maghilum kamo.
The Lord shall fight for you: therefore hold you your peace.
15 Unya si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Ngano ba nga nagatu-aw ikaw kanako? ingna ang mga anak sa Israel nga magapadayon sila:
And the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Wherefore cryest thou vnto me? speake vnto the children of Israel that they go forward:
16 Ug bakyawon mo ang imong sungkod, ug ituy-od mo ang imong kamot sa ibabaw sa dagat ug iwayon mo kini, ug magasulod ang mga anak sa Israel sa taliwala sa dagat sa yuta nga mamala.
And lift thou vp thy rod, and stretche out thine hand vpon the Sea and deuide it, and let the children of Israel goe on drie ground thorow the middes of the Sea.
17 Ug ako, ania karon, akong pagagahion ang mga kasingkasing sa mga Egiptohanon, ug sila moapas kanila ug ako pagahimayaon ni Faraon, ug sa tibook niya nga kasundalohan, ug sa iyang mga carro, ug sa iyang mga magkakabayo;
And I, beholde, I will harden the heart of the Egyptians, that they may follow them, and I wil get me honour vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his host, vpon his charets, and vpon his horsemen.
18 Ug manghibalo ang mga Egiptohanon nga ako mao si Jehova, sa pagahimayaon ako ni Faraon, sa iyang mga carro, ug sa iyang mga magkakabayo.
Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I haue gotten me honour vpon Pharaoh, vpon his charets, and vpon his horsemen.
19 Ug ang manolonda sa Dios nga nagalakaw sa atubangan sa campo sa Israel, mibalhin gikan sa ilang atubangan ug miadto sa ilang likod; ug ang haligi nga panganod, mibalhin gikan sa ilang atubangan, ug napahamutang sa ilang likod.
(And the Angel of God, which went before the hoste of Israel, remoued and went behinde them: also the pillar of the cloude went from before them, and stoode behinde them,
20 Ug kini miadto sa tunga-tunga sa campo sa mga Egiptohanon ug sa Israel; ug didto miadto ang dagum ug ang kangitngit, apan naghayag sa Israel sa kagabhion: ug ang usa wala moduol sa usa sa tibook nga gabii.
And came betweene the campe of the Egyptians and the campe of Israel: it was both a cloude and darkenes, yet gaue it light by night, so that all the night long the one came not at the other)
21 Ug gituy-od ni Moises ang iyang kamot sa ibabaw sa dagat ug gibuhat ni Jehova ang pagpa-iway sa dagat pinaagi sa kakusog sa hangin sa silangan sa tibook niadtong gabhiona, ug nahimo ang dagat nga yutang mamala ug ang mga tubig nabahin.
And Moses stretched forth his hande vpon the Sea, and the Lord caused the sea to runne backe by a strong East winde all the night, and made the Sea dry land: for the waters were deuided.
22 Ug ang mga anak sa Israel misulod sa taliwala sa dagat sa yutang mamala, ug nangahimo ang mga tubig nga ingon sa paril sa ilang too ug sa ilang wala:
Then the children of Israel went through the middes of the Sea vpon the drie ground, and the waters were a wall vnto them on their right hand, and on their left hand.
23 Ug ming-agpas kanila ang mga Egiptohanon, nga misunod sa ulahi hangtud sa taliwala sa dagat, ang tanan nga mga kabayo ni Faraon, ug ang iyang mga carro, ug ang iyang mga magkakabayo.
And the Egyptians pursued and went after them to the middes of the Sea, euen all Pharaohs horses, his charets, and his horsemen.
24 Ug nahatabo sa pagbantay sa kabuntagon, nga gitan-aw ni Jehova ang dapit nga hingmutangan sa mga Egiptohanon gikan sa haligi nga kalayo ug sa panganod, ug gigubot niya ang dapit nga hingmutangan sa mga Egiptohanon.
Nowe in the morning watche, when the Lord looked vnto the hoste of the Egyptians, out of the firie and cloudie pillar, he strooke the host of the Egyptians with feare.
25 Ug iyang gikuha ang mga ligid sa ilang mga carro, ug kini gipanglintuwad nila sa hilabihan gayud. Unya ang mga Egiptohanon miingon: Mangalagiw kita gikan sa atubangan sa Israel, kay si Jehova nagapakig-away alang kanila batok sa mga Egiptohanon.
For he tooke off their charet wheeles, and they draue them with much a doe: so that the Egyptians euery one sayd, I wil flee from the face of Israel: for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
26 Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Tuy-ora ang imong kamot sa ibabaw sa dagat, aron ang mga tubig managpamalik sa ibabaw sa mga Egiptohanon, sa ibabaw sa ilang mga carro, ug sa ibabaw sa ilang mga magkakabayo.
Then the Lord sayde to Moses, Stretche thine hand vpon the Sea, that the waters may returne vpon the Egyptians, vpon their charets and vpon their horsemen.
27 Ug gituy-od ni Moises ang iyang kamot sa ibabaw sa dagat, ug ang dagat hing-ulian sa iyang kusog sa pagkabuntag, ug ang ug gilaglag ni Jehova ang mga Egiptohanon sa taliwala sa dagat.
Then Moses stretched forth his hand vpon the Sea, and the Sea returned to his force early in the morning, and the Egyptians fled against it: but the Lord ouerthrew the Egyptians in the mids of the Sea.
28 Ug namalik ang mga tubig, ug mingsalanap sa mga carro ug sa mga magkakabayo, bisan sa tanan nga kasundalohan ni Faraon nga misunod sa ulahi nila sa dagat; nga walay nahabilin kanila bisan usa.
So the water returned and couered the charets and the horsemen, euen all the hoste of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them: there remained not one of them.
29 Apan ang mga anak sa Israel nanagpanlakaw sa ibabaw sa mamala nga yuta sa taliwala sa dagat ug ang mga tubig nangahimong ingon sa paril sa ilang too ug sa ilang wala.
But the children of Israel walked vpon dry land thorowe the middes of the Sea, and the waters were a wall vnto them on their right hande, and on their left.
30 Sa ingon niana giluwas ni Jehova ang Israel niadtong adlawa gikan sa kamot sa mga Egiptohanon; ug nakita sa Israel ang mga Egiptohanon nga mga patay sa baybayon sa dagat.
Thus the Lord saued Israel the same day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel sawe the Egyptians dead vpon the Sea banke.
31 Ug nakita sa Israel kadtong dakung buhat nga gibuhat ni Jehova batok sa mga Egiptohanon; ug ang katawohan nahadlok kang Jehova, ug mingtoo sila kang Jehova ug kang Moises nga iyang alagad.
And Israel saw the mightie power, which the Lord shewed vpon the Egyptians: so the people feared the Lord, and beleeued the Lord, and his seruant Moses.
