Amos 9
1 Nakita ko ang Ginoo nga nagatindog tupad sa halaran: ug siya miingon: Hampaka ang mga ulo-ulo sa mga haligi sa pultahan, aron ang mga tukmaan sa ganghaan mokurog; ug dugmoka sila sa ulo nilang tanan; ug akong patyon pinaagi sa espada ang kinatapusan nila: didto walay usa kanila nga makakalagiw, ug didto walay usa kanila nga makagawas.
I saw the Lord standing on the altar: and he said, Smite the mercy-seat, and the porch shall be shaken: and cut through into the heads of all; and I will slay the remnant of them with the sword: no one of them fleeing shall escape, and no one of them, striving to save himself shall be delivered.
2 Bisan sila magakalot ngadto sa Sheol, gikan didto kuhaon sila sa akong kamot; ug bisan sila mokatkat ngadto sa langit, gikan didto yudyoron ko sila. (Sheol h7585)
Though they hid themselves in hell, thence shall my hand drag them forth; and though they go up to heaven, thence will I bring them down. (Sheol h7585)
3 Bisan pa sila magtago sa ilang kaugalingon didto sa kinatumyan sa Carmelo, pangitaon ko sila, ug kuhaon ko sila gikan didto; ug bisan pa sila tagoon gikan sa akong pagtan-aw sa ilalum sa dagat, didto sugoon ko ang tagiwalo, ug siya magapaak kanila.
If they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, thence will I search [them] out and take them; and if they should go down from my presence into the depths of the sea, there will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.
4 Ug bisan pa sila moadto sa pagkabinihag sa atubangan sa ilang mga kaaway, didto sugoon ko ang espada, ug kini maoy mopatay kanila: ug itutok ko kanila ang akong mga mata alang sa kadautan, ug dili alang sa kaayohan.
And if they should go into captivity before the face of their enemies, there will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes against them for evil, and not for good.
5 Kay ang Ginoo, si Jehova sa mga panon, mao ang mohikap sa yuta ug kini mamatunaw, ug ang tanan nga nagapuyo didto managbalata; ug kana motubo nga tibook ingon sa Suba, ug mohubas pag-usab, sama sa Suba sa Egipto:
And the Lord, the Lord God Almighty, [is he] that takes hold of the land, and causes it to shake, and all that inhabit it shall mourn; and its destruction shall go up as a river, and shall descend as the river of Egypt.
6 Kini mao ang nagatukod sa iyang mga lawak sa kalangitan, ug nagtarok sa iyang malig-ong balay sa yuta; siya nga nagatawag sa tubig sa dagat, ug nagabubo kanila sa nawong sa yuta; si Jehova mao ang iyang ngalan.
[It is he] that builds his ascent up to the sky, and establishes his promise on the earth; who calls the water of the sea, and pours it out on the face of the earth; the Lord Almighty is his name.
7 Dili ba kamo ingon sa mga anak sa mga Etiopiahanon alang kanako, Oh mga anak sa Israel? nagaingon si Jehova. Wala ba nako kuhaa ang Israel gikan sa yuta sa Egipto, ug ang mga Filistehanon gikan sa Caphtor, ug ang mga Asiriahanon gikan sa Chir?
Are not ye to me as the sons of the Ethiopians, O children of Israel? saith the Lord. Did I not bring Israel up out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Cappadocia, and the Syrians out of the deep?
8 Ania karon, ang mga mata sa Ginoong Jehova anaa sa makasasalang gingharian, ug laglagon ko nga mapanas kana sa nawong sa yuta; gawas sa tibook balay ni Jacob nga dili ko laglagon pagtibawas, nagaingon si Jehova.
Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the kingdom of sinners, and I will cut it off from the face of the earth; only I will not utterly cut off the house of Jacob, saith the Lord.
9 Kay, ania karon, ako magasugo, ug ayagon ko ang balay sa Israel taliwala sa tanang mga nasud, ingon sa mga lugas nga pagaayagon sa ayagan, apan walay bisan usa ka lugas nga bugas nga matagak sa yuta,
For I [will] give commandment, and sift the house of Israel among all the Gentiles, as [corn] is sifted in a sieve, and [yet] a fragment shall not in any wise fall upon the earth.
10 Ang tanang mga makasasala sa akong katawohan mangamatay pinaagi sa espada, nga magaingon: Ang dautan dili makaapas ni makahibalag kanato.
All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, Calamities shall certainly not draw near, nor come upon us.
11 Niadtong adlawa akong patindogon ang tabernaculo ni David nga napukan, ug tapakan ang mga nangatumpag niini; ug akong bangonon ang iyang mga kuta nga nangagun-ob, ug tukoron ko kini ingon sa karaang mga adlaw;
In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and will rebuild the ruins of it, and will set up the parts thereof that have been broken down, and will build it up as in the ancient days:
12 Aron sila makapanag-iya sa salin sa Edom, ug sa tanang mga nasud nga ginatawag sa akong ngalan, nagaingon si Jehova nga nagahimo niini.
that the remnant of men, and all the Gentiles upon whom my name is called, may earnestly seek [me], saith the Lord who does all these things.
13 Ania karon, ang mga adlaw moabut na, nagaingon si Jehova, nga ang magdadaro makaapas sa mag-aani, ug ang manggigiuk sa mga parras, makaapas kaniya nga nagasabud sa binhi; ug mga bukid magapatulo sa matam-is nga vino, ug ang tanang bungtod mangatunaw.
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when the harvest shall overtake the vintage, and the grapes shall ripen at seedtime; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall be planted.
14 Ug akong bawion ang akong katawohan nga Israel gikan sa pagkabinihag, ug tukoron nila ang guba nga mga ciudad, ug pagapuy-an nila kini; ug sila magatanum mga kaparrasan, ug magainum sa vino niana; sila usab magabuhat mga tanaman, ug magakaon sa bunga niana.
And I will turn the captivity of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities, and shall inhabit [them]; and they shall plant vineyards, and shall drink the wine from them; and they shall form gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
15 Ug itanum ko sila sa ilang yuta, ug dili na sila lukahon pag-usab gikan sa ilang yuta nga gihatag ko kanila, nagaingon si Jehova, ang imong Dios.
And I will plant them on their land, and they shall no more be plucked up from the land which I have given them, saith the Lord God Almighty.
