2 Samuel 6
1 Ug si David nagtapok pag-usab sa tanang mga piniling tawo sa Israel, katloan ka libo.
And David gathered again every chosen one in Israel, thirty thousand,
2 Ug si David mitindog, ug miuban sa tibook katawohan nga didto uban kaniya, sukad sa Baal sa Juda, aron sa pagdala gikan didto sa arca sa Dios, nga gitawag sa Ngalan, bisan sa ngalan ni Jehova sa mga panon nga naglingkod sa ibabaw sa mga querubin.
and David riseth and goeth, and all the people who [are] with him, from Baale-Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God, whose name hath been called — the name of Jehovah of Hosts, inhabiting the cherubs — upon it.
3 Ug ilang gipahaluna ang arca sa Dios sa ibabaw sa bag-ong carromata, ug gidala kini gikan sa balay ni Abinadab nga didto sa bungtod; ug si Uzza ug si Ahio, ang mga anak nga lalake ni Abinadab, nagtulod sa bag-ong carromata.
And they cause the ark of God to ride on a new cart, and lift it up from the house of Abinadab, which [is] in the height, and Uzzah and Ahio sons of Abinadab are leading the new cart;
4 Ug gidala nila kini gikan sa balay ni Abinadab, nga didto sa bungtod, uban sa arca sa Dios: ug si Ahio miuna sa arca.
and they lift it up from the house of Abinadab, which [is] in the height, with the ark of God, and Ahio is going before the ark,
5 Ug si David ug ang tibook balay sa Israel nanaghoni sa atubangan ni Jehova sa nagkalainlaing mga tulonggon nga binuhat sa kahoy nga haya, ug uban ang mga alpa, ug uban ang mga kinuldasan nga tulonggon, ug mga pandaretas ug uban ang mga castañetas ug mga piyangpiyang.
and David and all the house of Israel are playing before Jehovah, with all kinds of [instruments] of fir-wood, even with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cornets, and with cymbals.
6 Ug sa diha nga nahiabut sila sa giukan sa Nachon, gibutang ni Uzza ang iyang kamot sa arca sa Dios ug nakakupot siya niini; kay ang mga vaca nahapangdol.
And they come unto the threshing-floor of Nachon, and Uzzah putteth forth [his hand] unto the ark of God, and layeth hold on it, for they released the oxen;
7 Ug ang kasuko ni Jehova misilaub batok kang Uzza; ug ang Dios naglaglag kaniya didto tungod sa iyang sayup; ug didto namatay siya tupad sa arca sa Dios.
and the anger of Jehovah burneth against Uzzah, and God smiteth him there for the error, and he dieth there by the ark of God.
8 Ug si David wala mahamuot tungod kay si Jehova midasmag kang Uzza; ug iyang gitawag kadtong dapita nga Parez-uzza, hangtud niining adlawa.
And it is displeasing to David, because that Jehovah hath broken forth a breach upon Uzzah, and [one] calleth that place Perez-Uzzah, unto this day;
9 Ug si David nahadlok kang Jehova niadtong adlawa; ug siya miingon: Unsaon sa pagdangat sa arca ni Jehova kanako?
and David feareth Jehovah on that day, and saith, 'How doth the ark of Jehovah come in unto me?'
10 Busa si David dili buot mobalhin sa arca ni Jehova ngadto kaniya sa ciudad ni David; apan gidala kini ni David ngadto sa balay ni Obed-edom, ang Getehanon.
And David hath not been willing to turn aside unto himself the ark of Jehovah, to the city of David, and David turneth it aside to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite,
11 Ug ang arca ni Jehova nahabalhin didto sa balay ni Obed-edom, ang Getehanon sa totolo ka bulan; ug si Jehova nagpanalangin kang Obed-edom ug sa tibook niyang panimalay.
and the ark of Jehovah doth inhabit the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months, and Jehovah blesseth Obed-Edom and all his house.
12 Ug kini gisugilon kang hari David, nga nagaingon: Si Jehova nagpanalangin sa balay ni Obed-edom ug sa tanan nga diha kaniya, tungod sa arca sa Dios. Ug si David miadto ug gidala ang arca sa Dios gikan sa balay ni Obed-edom ngadto sa ciudad ni David uban sa kalipay.
And it is declared to king David, saying, 'Jehovah hath blessed the house of Obed-Edom, and all that he hath, because of the ark of God;' and David goeth and bringeth up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the city of David with joy.
13 Ug mao kadto, nga sa diha nga ang nagdala sa arca ni Jehova nakalakat ug unom ka lakang, siya naghalad ug usa ka vaca ug usa ka pinatambok nga carnero.
And it cometh to pass, when those bearing the ark of Jehovah have stepped six steps, that he sacrificeth an ox and a fatling.
14 Ug si David misayaw sa atubangan ni Jehova kutob sa iyang mahimo; ug si David gibaksan ug usa ka lino nga ephod.
And David is dancing with all strength before Jehovah, and David is girded with a linen ephod,
15 Busa si David ug ang tibook nga balay sa Israel nanagdala sa arca ni Jehova uban ang singgit, ug ang mga lanog sa trompeta.
and David and all the house of Israel are bringing up the ark of Jehovah with shouting, and with the voice of a trumpet,
16 Ug mao kadto, sa diha nga ang arca ni Jehova nahiabut na sa ciudad ni David, si Michal, ang anak nga babaye ni Saul mitambo sa tamboanan, ug nakakita kang David nga hari nga naglukso-lukso ug nagsayaw sa atubangan ni Jehova; ug siya nagyubit kaniya sulod sa iyang kasingkasing.
and it hath come to pass, the ark of Jehovah hath come in to the city of David, and Michal daughter of Saul, hath looked through the window, and seeth king David moving and dancing before Jehovah, and despiseth him in her heart.
17 Ug ilang gidala ang arca ni Jehova, ug gipahaluna kini sa iyang dapit sa kinataliwad-an sa balong-balong nga gipatindog ni David alang niini; ug si David naghalad sa mga halad-nga-sinunog ug sa mga halad-sa-pakigdait sa atubangan ni Jehova.
And they bring in the ark of Jehovah, and set it up in its place, in the midst of the tent which David hath spread out for it, and David causeth to ascend burnt-offerings before Jehovah, and peace-offerings.
18 Ug sa diha nga gitapus na ni David ang paghalad sa halad-nga-sinunog ug sa mga halad-sa-pakigdait, iyang gipanalanginan ang katawohan sa ngalan ni Jehova sa mga panon.
And David finisheth from causing to ascend the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings, and blesseth the people in the name of Jehovah of Hosts,
19 Ug iyang gibahin sa tibook katawohan, bisan sa tibook nga panon sa Israel, mga lalake ug mga babaye, ang tagsatagsa may usa ka buok nga tinapay, ug usa ka bahin nga unod, ug usa ka sopas nga pasas. Busa ang tibook katawohan namahawa ang tagsa-tagsa ngadto sa iyang balay.
and he apportioneth to all the people, to all the multitude of Israel, from man even unto woman, to each, one cake of bread, and one eshpar, and one ashisha, and all the people go, each to his house.
20 Unya si David mipauli aron sa pagpanalangin sa iyang sulod balay. Ug si Michal, ang anak nga babaye ni Saul migula sa pagsugat kang David, ug miingon: Pagkamahimayaon sa hari sa Israel nga naghukas sa iyang kaugalingon niining adlawa, sa mga mata sa mga sulogoon nga babaye sa iyang mga sulogoon, sama sa usa ka walay hinungdan nga mga kauban nga sa walay kaulaw nagahukas sa iyang kaugalingon!
And David turneth back to bless his house, and Michal daughter of Saul goeth out to meet David, and saith, 'How honourable to-day was the king of Israel, who was uncovered to-day before the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain ones is openly uncovered!'
21 Ug si David miingon kang Michal: Kadto sa atubangan ni Jehova, nga nagpili kanako labaw sa imong amahan, ug labaw sa tibook niyang balay, sa pagtudlo kanako nga principe sa katawohan ni Jehova, sa ibabaw sa Israel: busa magadula ako sa atubangan ni Jehova.
And David saith unto Michal, ' — Before Jehovah, who fixed on me above thy father, and above all his house, to appoint me leader over the people of Jehovah, and over Israel, — yea, I played before Jehovah;
22 Ug ako mahimong labi pang tinamay kay niini, ug ubos sa akong kaugalingon nga mata: apan mahitungod sa mga ulipon nga babaye nga imong gihisgutan, kanila, ako pagailhon gayud sa kadungganan.
and I have been more vile than this, and have been low in mine eyes, and with the handmaids whom thou hast spoken of, with them I am honoured.'
23 Ug si Michal ang anak nga babaye ni Saul walay anak hangtud sa adlaw sa iyang kamatayon.
As to Michal daughter of Saul, she had no child till the day of her death.
