2 Cronicas 28
1 Si Achaz may kaluhaan ka tuig ang panuigon sa pagsugod niya paghari; ug siya naghari sulod sa napulo ug unom ka tuig sa Jerusalem: ug wala niya buhata kadtong matarung sa mga mata ni Jehova, sama kang David nga iyang amahan;
Ahaz was twentie yeere old when he began to reigne, and reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem, and did not vprightly in the sight of the Lord, like Dauid his father.
2 Kondili siya naglakat sa mga dalan sa mga hari sa Israel, ug naghimo usab sa mga tinunaw nga mga larawan alang sa mga Baal.
But he walked in the wayes of ye Kings of Israel, and made euen molten images for Baalim.
3 Labut pa siya nagsunog sa incienso didto sa walog sa anak nga lalake ni Hinom, ug gisunog ang iyang mga anak sa kalayo, sumala sa mga dulumtanan sa mga nasud nga gihinginlan ni Jehova gikan sa atubangan sa mga anak sa Israel.
Moreouer he burnt incense in the valley of Ben-hinnom, and burnt his sonnes with fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.
4 Ug siya mihalad ug nagsunog sa incienso sa hatag-as nga mga dapit, ug ibabaw sa kabungtoran, ug sa ilalum sa tagsatagsa ka malunhaw nga kahoy.
He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the hie places, and on hilles, and vnder euery greene tree.
5 Busa si Jehova nga iyang Dios nagtugyan kaniya ngadto sa kamot sa hari sa Siria; ug ilang gidaug siya, ug nagdala gikan sa mga iya sa usa ka dakung panon nga mga binihag, ug gidala sila ngadto sa Damasco. Ug siya usab gitugyan ngadto sa kamot sa hari sa Israel, nga midaug kaniya sa usa ka dakung kamatay.
Wherefore the Lord his God deliuered him into the hand of the King of the Aramites, and they smote him, and tooke of his, many prisoners, and brought them to Damascus: and he was also deliuered into the hande of the King of Israel, which smote him with a great slaughter.
6 Kay si Peka nga anak nga lalake ni Remalias nakapatay didto sa Juda sa usa ka gatus ug kaluhaan ka libo sa usa ka adlaw, silang tanan mga tawong maisug; tungod kay ilang gitalikdan si Jehova, ang Dios sa ilang mga amahan.

7 Ug si Zichri, usa ka gamhanang tawo sa Ephraim, mipatay kang Maasias nga anak nga lalake sa hari, ug kang Azricam ang magbubuot sa balay, ug kang Elcana ang ikaduha sa hari.
And Zichri a mighty man of Ephraim slew Maaseiah the Kings sonne, and Azrikam the gouernour of the house, and Elkanah the second after the King.
8 Ug ang mga anak sa Israel nanagdala sa binihag nga gikan sa ilang mga kaigsoonan duha ka gatus ka libo, mga babaye, mga anak nga lalake, ug mga anak nga babaye, ug mingdala usab sa daghan nga mga inagaw gikan kanila, ug gidala ang inagaw ngadto sa Samaria.
And the children of Israel tooke prisoners of their brethren, two hudreth thousand of women, sonnes and daughters, and caried away much spoyle of them, and brought the spoyle to Samaria.
9 Apan usa ka manalagna ni Jehova didto, kansang ngalan mao si Obed: ug migula siya aron sa pagtagbo sa panon nga miadto sa Samaria, ug miingon kanila: Ania karon, tungod kay si Jehova, ang Dios sa inyong mga amahan, nasuko batok sa Juda, iyang gitugyan sila nganha sa inyong kamot, ug inyong gipamatay sila uban sa usa ka kasuko nga milanog ngadto sa langit.
But there was a Prophet of the Lordes, (whose name was Oded) and he went out before the hoste that came to Samaria, and said vnto them, Behold, because the Lord God of your fathers is wroth with Iudah, he hath deliuered them into your hand, and ye haue slaine them in a rage, that reacheth vp to heauen.
10 Ug karon kamo nagtinguha sa paghimo sa mga anak sa Juda ug sa Jerusalem nga mga ulipon nga lalake ug mga ulipon nga babaye alang kaninyo: apan wala ba diha kaninyoy mga kalapasan sa inyong kaugalingon batok kang Jehova nga inyong Dios?
And nowe ye purpose to keepe vnder the children of Iudah and Ierusalem, as seruants and handmaides vnto you: but are not you such, that sinnes are with you before the Lord your God?
11 Busa karon patalinghugi ako, ug ipadala pagbalik ang mga binihag, nga inyong nabihag gikan sa inyong mga kaigsoonan; kay ang mabangis nga kaligutgut ni Jehova anaa kaninyo.
Nowe therefore heare me, and deliuer the captiues againe, which ye haue taken prisoners of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the Lord is toward you.
12 Unya may pipila sa mga pangulo sa mga anak sa Ephraim, si Azarias anak nga lalake ni Johanan, si Berechias anak nga lalake ni Mesillemoth, ug si Ezechias anak nga lalake ni Sallum, ug si Amasa anak nga lalake ni Hadlai, nanindog batok kanila nga nangabut gikan sa gubat.
Wherefore certaine of the chiefe of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the sonne of Iehohanan, Berechiah the sonne of Meshillemoth, and Iehizkiah the sonne of Shallum, and Amasa the sonne of Hadlai, stood vp against them that came from the warre,
13 Ug miingon kanila: Dili kamo magdala sa mga binihag nganhi: kay inyong gitinguha ang makahatag kanamo sa usa ka kalapasan batok kang Jehova, aron sa pagdugang sa among mga sala ug sa among kalapasan; kay ang among kalapasan daku, ug may mabangis nga kasuko batok sa Israel.
And said vnto them, Bring not in the captiues hither: for this shalbe a sinne vpon vs against the Lord: ye entende to adde more to our sinnes and to our trespasse, though our trespasse be great, and the fierce wrath of God is against Israel.
14 Busa gibiyaan sa mga tawong may hinagiban ang mga binihag ug ang mga sinakmit sa atubangan sa mga principe ug sa tibook nga katilingban.
So the armie left the captiues and the spoyle before the princes and all the Congregation.
15 Ug ang mga tawo nga gipanghisgutan sa ngalan mingtindog, ug gidala ang mga binihag, ug gikan sa mga butang nga inagaw, gisul-oban ang walay saput kanila, ug gipabistihan sila, ug gipasapinan sila, ug gihatagan sila sa pagkaon ug pag-inum, ug gidihogan sila, ug gitungtong sa mga asno ang mga maluyahon kanila, ug gidala sila ngadto sa Jerico, ang ciudad sa mga palma, ngadto sa ilang mga kaigsoonan: unya sila namalik ngadto sa Samaria.
And the men that were named by name, rose vp and tooke the prisoners, and with the spoyle clothed all that were naked among them, and arayed them, and shod them, and gaue them meate, and gaue them drinke, and anoynted them, and caryed all that were feeble of them vpon asses, and brought them to Iericho the citie of Palme trees to their brethren: so they returned to Samaria.
16 Niadtong panahona si Achaz nga hari nagpadala ngadto sa mga hari sa Asiria sa pagtabang kaniya.
At that time did King Ahaz sende vnto the Kings of Asshur, to helpe him.
17 Kay ang mga Edomhanon ming-abut pag-usab ug mingdaug sa Juda, ug nakadala ug mga binihag.
(For the Edomites came moreouer, and slew of Iudah, and caryed away captiues.
18 Ang mga Filistehanon usab mingsulong sa mga ciudad, sa kapatagan, ug ang sa Habagatan sa Juda, ug nagkuha sa Beth-semes, ug ang Ajalon, ug ang Gederoth, ug ang Socho lakip ang mga lungsod niana, ug ang Timna lakip ang mga lungsod niana, ang Gimzo usab ug ang mga lungsod niana: ug sila mingpuyo didto.
The Philistims also inuaded the cities in the low countrey, and toward the South of Iudah, and tooke Bethshemesh, and Aialon, and Gederoth and Shocho, with the villages thereof, and Timnah, with her villages, and Gimzo, with her villages, and they dwelt there.
19 Kay gipaubos ni Jehova ang Juda tungod kang Achaz nga hari sa Israel; kay siya naghimo sa kagawian nga pagpatuyang sa Juda, ug nakalapas ug daku gayud batok kang Jehova.
For the Lord had humbled Iudah, because of Ahaz King of Israel: for he had brought vengeance vpon Iudah, and had grieuously transgressed against the Lord)
20 Ug si Tilgath-pilneser nga hari sa Asiria miadto kaniya, ug nagpaguol kaniya, apan wala magpabaskug kaniya.
And Tilgath Pilneeser king of Asshur came vnto him, who troubled him and did not strengthen him.
21 Kay gikuha ni Achaz ang usa ka bahin gikan sa balay ni Jehova, ug gikan sa balay sa hari, ug sa mga principe, ug gihatag kini ngadto sa hari sa Asiria: apan kini wala makatabang kaniya.
For Ahaz tooke a portion out of the house of the Lord and out of the Kings house and of the Princes, and gaue vnto the king of Asshur: yet it helped him not.
22 Ug sa panahon sa iyang pagkaguol, siya milapas pa gayud batok kang Jehova, kining maong hari nga si Achaz.
And in ye time of his tribulation did he yet trespasse more against ye Lord, (this is King Ahaz)
23 Kay siya naghalad sa mga dios sa Damasco, nga mingdaug kaniya: ug siya miingon: Tungod kay ang mga dios sa mga hari sa Siria mingtabang kanila, tungod niini, ako magahalad kanila, aron sila motabang kanako. Apan sila mao ang nahimong kapildihan niya, ug sa tibook Israel.
For he sacrificed vnto the gods of Damascus, which plagued him, and he sayd, Because the gods of the Kings of Aram helped them, I wil sacrifice vnto them, and they will helpe me: yet they were his ruine, and of all Israel.
24 Ug gitigum ni Achaz ang mga sudlanan sa balay sa Dios, ug gidugmok ang mga sudlanan sa balay sa Dios, ug gitakpan ang mga pultahan sa balay ni Jehova; ug gihimoan siya ug mga halaran niya sa tagsatagsa ka suok sa Jerusalem.
And Ahaz gathered the vessels of ye house of God, and brake the vessels of the house of God, and shut vp the doores of the house of the Lord, and made him altars in euery corner of Ierusalem.
25 Ug sa tagsatagsa ka ciudad sa Juda siya naghimo sa hatag-as nga mga dapit aron sa pagsunog sa incienso ngadto sa laing mga dios, ug naghagit sa kasuko ni Jehova, ang Dios sa iyang mga amahan,
And in euery citie of Iudah hee made hie places, to burne incense vnto other gods, and prouoked to anger the Lord God of his fathers.
26 Karon ang uban sa iyang mga buhat, ug ang tanan sa iyang mga dalan, sinugdan ng katapusan, ania karon, sila nahisulat sa basahon sa mga hari sa Juda ug sa Israel.
Concerning the rest of his actes, and all his wayes first and last, beholde, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Iudah, and Israel.
27 Ug si Achaz natulog uban sa iyang mga amahan, ug ilang gilubong siya didto sa ciudad, bisan sa Jerusalem; kay wala nila dad-a siya ngadto sa mga lubnganan sa mga hari sa Israel: ug si Ezechias ang iyang anak nga lalake naghari ilis kaniya.
And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the citie of Ierusalem, but brought him not vnto the sepulchres of the Kings of Israel: and Hezekiah his sonne reigned in his stead.
