1 Samuel 15
1 Ug si Samuel miingon kang Saul: Si Jehova nagpaanhi kanako aron sa pagdihog kanimo aron mahimong hari sa ibabaw sa iyang katawohan, ibabaw sa Israel: busa karon pamatia ang tingog sa mga pulong ni Jehova.
And Samuel seide to Saul, The Lord sente me, that Y schulde anoynte thee in to `kyng on his puple Israel; now therfor here thou the vois `of the Lord.
2 Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova sa mga panon: Akong gitiman-an kadtong gibuhat ni Amalec sa Israel, kong giunsa niya ang pag-asdang batok kaniya didto sa dalan, sa diha nga siya migula gikan sa Egipto.
The Lord of oostis seith thes thingis, Y haue rikenyd what euer thingis Amalech dide to Israel; hou Amalech ayenstood Israel in the weie, whanne he stiede from Egipt.
3 Busa lakaw ug hampaka si Amalec, ug hutda paglaglag ang tanan nga anaa kanila, ug ayaw sila pagpagawasa; kondili patya ang lalake ug babaye, bata ug masuso, vaca ug carnero, camello ug asno.
Now therfor go thou, and sle Amalech, and distruye thou alle `thingis of hym; spare thou not hym, and coueyte thou not ony thing of hise thingis; but sle thou fro man `til to womman, and a litil child, and soukynge, an oxe, and scheep, and camel, and asse.
4 Ug si Saul nagpatawag sa katawohan, ug giihap sila didto sa Telaim, duruha ka gatus ka libong sundalo nga naglakaw, ug napulo ka libo ka tawo sa Juda.
Therfor Saul comaundide to the puple, and he noumbride hem as lambren twei hundrid thousynde of foot men, and ten thousynde of men of Juda.
5 Ug si Saul miadto sa ciudad ni Amalec, ug nagpahiluna didto sa walog.
And whanne Saul cam to the citee of Amalech, he made redi buyschementis in the stronde.
6 Ug si Saul miingon sa mga Cinehanon: Lakaw, pahawa kamo, pahalayo kamo gikan sa mga Amalecahanon, tingali unya ako magalaglag usab kaninyo kauban nila; kay kamo nakapakita ug kalolot sa tanang mga anak sa Israel, sa diha nga sila minggula gikan sa Egipto. Busa ang mga Cinehanon mingpahawa gikan sa mga Amalecahanon.
And Saul seide to Cyney, Go ye, departe ye, and go ye awei fro Amalech, lest perauenture Y wlappe thee in with hem; for thou didist mercy with alle the sones of Israel, whanne thei stieden fro Egipt. And Cyney departide fro the myddis of Amalech.
7 Ug si Saul nakadaug sa mga Amalecahanon, sukad sa Havila kong moadto ka sa Sur, nga anaa atbang sa Egipto.
And Saul smoot Amalech fro Euila, til thou come to Sur, which is ayens Egipt.
8 Ug iyang hidakpan nga buhi si Agag ang hari sa mga Amalecahanon, ug gihurot paglaglag ang tanang katawohan sa sulab sa pinuti.
And he took Agag quyke, the kyng of Amalech; sotheli he killide bi the scharpnesse of swerd alle the comyn puple.
9 Apan si Saul ug ang katawohan nagpagawas kang Agag, ug ang labing maayo sa mga carnero, ug sa mga vaca, ug sa mga pinatambok, ug sa mga nating mga carnero, ug sa tanan nga maayo, ug wala bumuot sa paglaglag nga hurot kanila: apan ang tagsatagsa ka butang nga talamayon, ug walay pulos ilang gihurot paglaglag.
And Saul and the puple sparide Agag, and the beste flockis of scheep, and of grete beestis, and clothis, and rammes, and alle thingis that weren faire; and thei nolden destrie tho; sotheli what euer thing was vijl, and repreuable, thei distrieden this.
10 Unya nahiabut ang pulong ni Jehova kang Samuel, nga nagaingon:
Forsothe the word of the Lord was maad to Samuel,
11 Nakapabasul kanako nga akong gibutang si Saul aron mahimong hari; kay siya mitalikod gikan sa pagsunod kanako, ug wala magatuman sa akong mga sugo. Ug si Samuel nasuko; ug siya mitu-aw kang Jehova sa tibook nga gabii.
and seide, It repentith me, that Y made Saul kyng; for he forsook me, and fillide not my wordis in werk. And Samuel was sory, and he criede to the Lord in al the nyyt.
12 Ug si Samuel mibangon pagsayo aron sa pagpakigkita kang Saul sa pagkabuntag; ug kana gisugilon kang Samuel nga nagaingon: Si Saul miadto sa Carmel, ug, ania karon, nagpatindog siya ug usa ka monumento, ug mitalikod, ug milakaw, ug milugsong ngadto sa Gilgal.
And whanne Samuel hadde rise bi nyyt to go eerly to Saul, it was teld to Samuel, that Saul hadde come in to Carmel, and hadde reisid to hym a signe of victorye; and that he hadde turned ayen, and hadde passid, and hadde go doun in to Galgala. Therfor Samuel cam to Saul, and Saul offride brent sacrifice to the Lord of the cheef thingis of preies, whiche he hadde brouyt fro Amalech.
13 Ug si Samuel miadto kang Saul; ug si Saul miingon kaniya: Binulahan ikaw ni Jehova: Ako nakatuman sa sugo ni Jehova.
And the while Samuel cam to Saul, Saul seide to hym, Blessid be thou of the Lord, Y haue fillid the `word of the Lord.
14 Ug si Samuel miingon: Unsay kahulogan niining pagtiyabaw sa mga carnero sa akong mga igdulungog, ug ang pag-inga sa mga vaca nga akong nadungog?
And Samuel seide, And what is the vois of flockis, that sowneth in myn eeris, and of grete beestis, whiche Y here?
15 Ug si Saul miingon: Ilang gidala sila gikan sa mga Amalecahanon: kay ang katawohan nagpagawas sa labing maayo sa mga carnero ug sa mga vaca, aron sa paghalad ngadto kang Jehova nga imong Dios; ug ang uban gihurot namo paglaglag.
And Saul seide, Thei brouyten tho fro Amalech, for the puple sparide the betere scheep and grete beestis, that tho schulden be offrid to thi Lord God; sotheli we killiden the tothere beestis.
16 Unya miingon si Samuel kang Saul: Hulat, ug suginlan ko ikaw kong unsa ang gipamulong ni Jehova kanako niining gabhiona. Ug siya miingon kaniya: Padayon pagsulti.
Forsothe Samuel seide to Saul, Suffre thou me, and Y schal schewe to thee what thingis the Lord spak to me in the nyyt. And he seide to Samuel, Speke thou.
17 Ug si Samuel miingon: Bisan ikaw diyutay sa imong kaugalingong pagtan-aw, wala ba ikaw himoa nga pangulo sa mga banay sa Israel? Ug si Jehova nagdihog kanimo nga hari ibabaw sa Israel;
And Samuel seide, Whether not, whanne thou were litil in thin iyen, thou were maade heed in the lynages of Israel, and the Lord anoyntide thee in to kyng on Israel;
18 Ug si Jehova nagpadala kanimo sa usa ka panaw, ug miingon; Lakaw, ug hutda paglaglag ang mga makasasala, ang Amalecahanon, ug awaya sila hangtud nga sila mangaut-ut.
and the Lord sente thee in to the weie, and seide, Go thou, and sle the synneris of Amalech, and thou schalt fiyte ayens hem `til to sleyng of hem.
19 Ngano man nga ikaw wala motuman sa tingog ni Jehova, kondili midali sa pagkuha sa inagaw, ug naghimo niadtong dautan sa pagtan-aw ni Jehova?
Whi therfor herdist thou not the vois of the Lord, but thou were turned to prey, and didist yuel in the `iyen of the Lord?
20 Ug si Saul miingon kang Samuel: Oo, ako nakatuman sa tingog ni Jehova, ug naglakaw sa dalan nga gipaadtoan ni Jehova kanako, ug nakadala kang Agag ang hari sa Amalec, ug naglaglag paghurot sa mga Amalecahanon.
And Saul seide to Samuel, Yhis, Y herde the `vois of the Lord, and Y yede in the weie, bi which the Lord sente me, and Y haue brouyt Agag, the kyng of Amalech, and Y killide Amalech.
21 Apan ang katawohan mingdala gikan sa inagaw, sa mga carnero ug vaca, ang labaw sa mga linaglag nga butang, aron sa paghalad kang Jehova nga imong Dios didto sa Gilgal.
Forsothe the puple took of the prey, scheep and oxun, the firste fruytis of tho thingis, that ben slayn, that thei make sacrifice to her Lord God in Galgalis.
22 Ug si Samuel miingon: Si Jehova may daku bang kalipay sa mga halad-nga-sinunog ug sa mga halad, maingon sa pagtuman sa tingog ni Jehova? Ania karon, ang pagsugot labi pang maayo kay sa halad, ug ang pagpamati kay sa tambok sa mga lakeng carnero.
And Samuel seide, Whether the Lord wole brent sacrifices, ethir slayn sacrifices, and not more that me obeie to the vois of the Lord? For obedience is betere than sacrifices, and to `herkene Goddis word is more than to offre the ynnere fatnesse of rammes;
23 Kay ang pagsukol sama ra sa sala sa lumay, ug ang pagkagahi sa kasingkasing sama ra sa pagdiwata ug pag-alagad sa mga dios-dios. Tungod kay imong gisalikway ang pulong ni Jehova, siya usab magsalikway kanimo gikan sa pagkahari.
for it is as the synne of mawmetrie to `fiyte ayens Goddis heest, and it is as the wickidnesse of ydolatrie to nyle `ascente to Goddis heest. Therfor for that, that thou castidist awey the word of the Lord, the Lord castide thee awei, that thou be not kyng.
24 Ug si Saul miingon kang Samuel: Ako nakasala; kay ako nakalapas sa sugo ni Jehova, ug sa imong mga pulong, kay ako nahadlok sa katawohan ug mituman sa ilang tingog.
And Saul seide to Samuel, Y synnede, for Y brak the word of the Lord, and thi wordis; `and Y dredde the puple, `and obeiede to `the vois of hem; but now,
25 Busa karon, ako nagahangyo kanimo, pasayloa ang akong sala, ug bumalik ka uban kanako, aron ako magsimba kang Jehova.
Y biseche, bere thou my synne, and turne thou ayen with me, that Y worschipe the Lord.
26 Ug si Samuel miingon kang Saul: Ako dili na mobalik uban kanimo; kay ikaw nagsalikway sa pulong ni Jehova ug si Jehova nagsalikway kanimo gikan sa paghari ibabaw sa Israel.
And Samuel seide to Saul, Y schal not turne ayen with thee, for thou castidist awey the word of the Lord, and the Lord castide awei thee, that thou be not king on Israel.
27 Ug sa mitalikod na si Samuel aron sa paglakat, gikuptan ni Saul ang sidsid sa iyang saput, ug nagisi kini.
And Samuel turnede to go a wey; sotheli Saul took the ende of the mentil of Samuel, which also was to-rent.
28 Ug si Samuel miingon kaniya: Si Jehova naggisi sa gingharian sa Israel gikan kanimo niining adlawa, ug naghatag niana sa usa ka silingan nimo, nga maayo pa kay kanimo.
And Samuel seide to hym, The Lord hath kit the rewme of Israel fro thee to dai, and yaf it to thi neiybore betere than thou;
29 Ug ang Kalig-on usab sa Israel dili magbakak ni magbasul; kay dili siya usa ka tawo nga siya magbasul.
certis the ouercomere in Israel schal not spare, and he schal not be bowid bi repentaunce; for he is not man, `that is, chaungeable, that he do repentaunce.
30 Unya siya miingon: Ako nakasala: apan tahura ako karon, ako nagahangyo kanimo, sa atubangan sa mga anciano sa akong katawohan, ug sa atubangan sa Israel, ug balik pag-usab uban kanako, aron ako magasimba kang Jehova nga imong Dios.
And Saul seide, Y synnede; but now onoure thou me bifor the eldere men of my puple, and bifor Israel, and turne thou ayen with me, that Y worschipe thi Lord God.
31 Busa si Samuel mibalik uban kang Saul; ug si Saul nagsimba kang Jehova.
Therfor Samuel turnede ayen, and suede Saul, and Saul worschipide the Lord.
32 Unya miingon si Samuel: Dad-a ninyo dinhi kanako si Agag ang hari sa mga Amalecahanon. Ug si Agag miadto kaniya nga malipayon. Ug si Agag miingon: Sa pagkamatuod ang kapait sa kamatayon miagi na.
And Samuel seide, Brynge ye to me Agag, the kyng of Amalech. And Agag `moost fat tremblynge was brouyt to hym. And Agag seide, Whether thus departith bitter deeth?
33 Ug si Samuel miingon: Ingon nga ang imong pinuti nakapawalay bata sa mga babaye, sa ingon niana ang imong inahan mawalay bata sa taliwala sa mga kababayen-an. Ug si Samuel mitagodtagod kang Agag sa atubangan ni Jehova didto sa Gilgal.
And Samuel seide, As thi swerd made wymmen with out fre children, so thi modir schal be with out fre children among wymmen. And Samuel kittide hym in to gobetis bifor the Lord in Galgalis.
34 Unya si Samuel miadto sa Rama; ug si Saul mitungas ngadto sa iyang balay didto sa Gabaa ni Saul.
Forsothe Samuel yede in to Ramatha; sotheli Saul stiede in to his hows in Gabaa.
35 Ug si Samuel wala na umadto sa pagpakigkita kang Saul hangtud sa adlaw sa iyang kamatayon; kay si Samuel nagbangotan tungod kang Saul: ug si Jehova nagbasul nga iyang gihimo si Saul nga hari sa Israel.
And Samuel siy no more Saul `til to the dai of his deeth; netheles Samuel biweilide Saul, for it repentide the Lord, that he hadde ordeyned Saul kyng on Israel.
